Beat the Bomb is known to many as an Escape Room. But to my knowledge it's a "Competitive Social Experience". The customer service is exceptional from being greeted at the counter and the servers. Jesse, who programs the game, gave us an insight and a tour and the General Mgr. Robb took some time out to talk to us. There should be a campaign about the food itself. Geesh, those chicken sandwiches and hot dogs are so good. And this is coming from someone who doesn't like eating fast food. With some good music, food and drinks, you can just stop over for a happy hour. Overall we had a great VIP experience at BEAT THE BOMB. We highly recommend this place!

Really nice addition to the city. Didn't know what to expect but we had a wonderful experience celebrating a birthday. The place is new but properly staffed and managed. They really make it easy for you so just follow their instructions and you will be fine. In addition, the food and drinks are very tasty and everything comes out quickly. Also, Bryant deserves a special mention as he really took care of us. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique and fun experience in the city.

So much fun. Free lockers to store your stuff. Def make sure to get there early to sign waivers. Great customer service. The lady giving instructions was so patient and kind, considering she had to repeat directions over and over. Also love that we got photo and video taken for us! Our group had a great time. Only thing that was not ideal: seating and waiting area isn’t huge. There was a large party happening the day we went so we couldn’t sit for a bit. Parking around here was easy too. Totally worth the experience overall!

Beat the Bomb DC is like a grown up version of Nickelodeon's Legends of the hidden temple. You go through several game challenges that test your intelligence, physical abilities and determination. There are four different experiences to book. Game Bay, Mission, VIP tickets and super VIP tickets. We booked the mission experience in advance, you go through 5 high tech video rooms and the final room is the paint bomb. This was an hour long experience that flew by. The tickets were $44.95 each. The rooms are very engaging, I wish the instructions were read out versus being displayed on the wall to read. It would go fast and sometimes you weren't really aware of what you needed to do in each room. While you are playing the games you are being recorded. Each room had a camera. Overall, I had a fun time. Videos and photos are included in the price, they will email them after your experience. A few logistics to consider, make sure your group is on time. They are very strict about timing, they only give you a 10 minute grace period. I almost missed our reservation and I was about 5 minutes behind. The woman at the hostess desk wouldn't allow me to join the experience at first but then the manager Derek came out and allowed me to join the experience after paying a separate $50 fee. Once you book, all sales are final even if someone in your group doesn't show up. However, they will reimburse you with a voucher. Make sure you bring an extra pair of clothes, even though they give you gear to protect your clothes, I got the paint on my clothing. You will have to sign a waiver and there are lockers to store any of your items. There is plenty of street parking and garage parking.

I booked the reservation through there website and came in the next day expecting to pay the full amount but turns out u have to pay all of it 24 hours before but they didn’t send a email saying this nor reminding me. The worker at the front desk was very nasty with me and it was my birthday. I do not recommend. My experience was horrible. The worker also didn’t give us a different option. After she told us

It was super fun! When one of our rooms had to be reset the staff member came through and put us in another room. It didn’t take away from our experience. I highly recommend that everyone try it.

we have not booked our party yet but we went just to check it out and we will be booking! a big shout out to Blake who took the time to answers all our questions and show us around-THANK YOU! this place is so fun and we cannot wait to do it ourselves. Update: Today was my son's birthday party. He was scheduled for 11am and we were told to be there 15 minutes early. Our whole party arrived by 10:30 and they took us right in! The staff was so helpful in getting the kiddos all signed in and ready. All said and done-it was a FANTASTIC time! Thank you for making his day so fun!

Beat the bomb will have you actively on your feet solving puzzles and avoiding obstacles. I went with 2 other people and it was so freaking fun. Though some levels would be easier with more people, I think 4-5 would be a perfect number but more people can also be a disadvantage if the group is not coordinated. It doesn’t matter though because this place will be fun regardless! Whoever is at the front desk will have an impact on first impressions and last impressions. Noting this, Em was nice and helpful so we walked in excited and left satisfied. :) I’m not sure if it’s because we went from a party of 5 to 3 or because of the time of our reservation, but we weren’t allowed to do the arcade even though we paid ($10 more per ticket) for the super VIP package that came with it. A compensation would’ve been appreciated. BTW we did not beat the bomb… L team

This was so much fun! But make sure you’re in shape because you get active! My friends and I didn’t beat the bomb so we got blasted. The paint got on my face (I was completely covered with the hazmat suit and mask) and some got in my mouth. That was nasty but the experience was so much fun and the staff we are amazing. 10/10 would highly recommend & will come back and do it again!

It was incredible! My family went as a bonding/team building/ fun event. My kids were thinking quickly under pressure and it brought us all closer because we had to coordinate . We thought that it would be like a standard escape run and it is so much more than that! It was a confidence booster for my kids and the best family fun short of Disney World with zero lines!

Thanks to Sandy! My kids loved this place for their birthdays. They had tons of fun!!! We’re definitely looking forward to coming back. Also, parking was easy and they have free lockers. I definitely recommend wearing clothes you don’t mind getting a little paint on.

A win on all levels. Best 90 minutes spent with friends. And absolutely the Bomb 💣 athe end. Be ready to work up a sweat and get a little / lot dirty. Oh yes and some brain power is required too. Price point is $$ per person. Date night, team building, friends and family. Garage parking.

The bartender name AFI at Beat the Bomb in DC was totally amazing. She took good care of all of us in a timely manner . We were there for a group outing with over 25 of us at the bar. She made sure we were all taken care of . She was very professional will definitely come back again.

With the holidays quickly approaching, this is the perfect Friendsgiving activity to burn off a few calories before Turkey Day. The puzzles tested my intelligence and the laser room made me dip and bend like Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible. You have one hour to go thru three rooms in order to rack up enough time to figure out the puzzle in the last room before you get bombed with paint or foam. As you can see, my team didn’t complete the mission.

First of all, one time for the young lady at the front desk, Shay, who welcomed me with warm smile and jokes. My family showed up and had a blast. The whole crew was a vibe. I'd definetly do it again with these same people!!! Bring your A game folks!!!
