cancelled
this
membership
over
3
months
ago
at
this
point,
yet
they
have
continued
to
charge
me
for
3
months
consecutively
after
leaving
the
gym.
When
I
initially
joined
this
gym,
I
informed
them
that
I
am
not
a
resident
of
DC
and
would
only
be
in
town
for
a
month
(July).
I
was
told
that
I
could
sign
up
for
a
ONE
MONTH
NON
RENEWAL
membership.
Despite
this,
they
have
continued
to
charge
me
for
3
consecutive
months
after
this.
After
the
first
unauthorized
charge,
I
emailed
them
to
inform
them
I
want
my
membership
terminated
and
that
this
charge
is
an
error
and
I
would
like
a
refund
as
I
no
longer
attend
the
gym.
I
recieved
no
response.
I
then
called
the
gym,
and
spoke
to
Eric.
He
apologized,
said
it
was
an
error,
and
assured
me
that
my
membership
was
cancelled,
this
should
not
happen
again,
and
said
I’d
receive
a
refund.
I
never
received
a
refund,
and
the
they
proceeded
to
charge
me
again
a
month
later
in
September.
I
called
them
again,
and
he
said
the
exact
same
thing:
apologized,
said
it
wont
happen
again,
and
said
I’d
receive
a
refund.
I
never
received
a
refund.
They
then
proceeded
to
charge
me
a
third
time,
this
month
(October).
I
have
never
received
ANY
refunds
and
they
just
continue
to
charge
me.
I
don’t
even
live
in
DC
and
haven’t
entered
that
gym
since
July.
This
is
unacceptable
for
any
establishment!
I
highly
do
NOT
recommend
you
join,
and
if
you
do,
sign
up
with
a
prepaid
card
because
they
cannot
be
trusted.
The
better
business
bureau
will
be
notified.
Reading
over
other
reviews,
I've
realized
I'm
not
the
first
person
this
has
happened
to.
No
one
has
reached
out
to
inform
me
about
what
is
happening
with
my
refund.
I
had
a
great
time
at
this
gym,
and
definitely
would've
returned
should
have
I
ever
been
in
the
area
again.
However,
this
experience
has
been
very
disheartening
and
completely
eradicated
any
chance
of
this.
It
is
unacceptable
to
be
this
negligent
with
people's
money.
UPDATE:
If
you
all
knew
your
memberships
could
not
be
set
not
to
be
renewed,
then
why
didn't
Vanessa
inform
me
of
this
when
I
told
her
I
would
only
be
in
town
for
a
month?
She
herself
told
me
that
my
membership
would
be
automatically
set
not
to
renew
and
told
me
I
wouldn't
have
to
worry
about
it.
Even
after
I
emailed
to
cancel
the
membership,
(which
I
shouldn't
have
had
to,
because
once
again
your
own
staff
member
told
me
my
membership
was
only
set
for
ONE
month)
I
received
no
response
and
continued
to
be
charged.
