This "temporary" welcome center should be closed immediately. No improvements can be made due to budget cuts. It is disgusting, and a disgrace to the Capitol area. What a horrible impression for anyone who happens onto this place thinking it is the White House Visitor Center, and the staff is not helpful in directing people to the real visitor center. I wish I knew how to post the picture I took of the bathrooms.

Family LOVED the tour of the White House. It was so awesome being in the same building that almost all our presidents have lived in. Neat seeing the different rooms and hearing stories and reading the info. Security was tight, but all the Secret Service Agents were friendly. This is an experience we all will remember. Maybe someday I might move in here. Nahhhh! :) Worth the security checks to get in!

This is shame to have such dirty restroom amenity in the tourist center next to White House. Where did all the tax go?

Nothing to do there. Only important to get the tickets for the White House Gardens visits in Spring and Fall

This building is in deplorable condition. The rest rooms are in the basement and I didn't see an elevator for handicapped access. In the men's room only 2 of the 4 sinks were working, only one hand dryer was functioning, the latches didn't work in the stalls and the rest room was filthy, and the Easter Egg Roll was going to be held 2 days after our visit and this is the image that's being presented to out of towners, disgraceful.

A bathroom and some places to buy food. Not an attraction, just a basic service in a park. Useful I guess, but there's no reason to visit it on purpose. Go to the Whitehouse visitor center instead.

The bathroom is closed. There's nothing here except the grounds crew vehicles.

No toilet tissue at all in the women's restroom. At stalls have empty dispensers.
