I had one of my best dining experiences in this place. The breakfast is easily enough for two people. The staff are super welcoming. Try their tarts and that tastes like heaven. Been very happy with the pancakes and hey they bring you a whole container of coffee. I also really liked that when we ordered one breakfast for two, they put it in two different plates. Thoughtful! So enjoy!

This was nice quick place to eat. Much of the American faves are on the menu and the portions are huge. I had the fish and chips, which was good, the fish was little over cooked and the tartar sauce on the salty side but still good. The French fries were good but could have been fresher. For dessert I had the cookie sundae (check the pics), it's not a regular cookie. I suggest sharing this with 2-3 people. Please note that the inside of the cookie is also half baked, so if you don't like that do not get it. I enjoyed it but it's way too big for one person. Would I come back again, maybe! It was simply ok. The coffee wasn't good and I do not suggest ordering it. This restaurant is great for families and geared towards comfortable eating.

Awesome breakfast. Cool diner / American comfort food. Definitely well worth the price. Also don’t forget to try Teds Tart… a homemade take on the pop tart. DELICIOUS. So if you need a fun little spot for a good meal … stop on by for some really good home cooking

My wife and I went here after a recommendation from a co-worker of mine. The area we are from has a number very good bistro and brunch locations but this meal blew them out of the water. My French toast was by far the best I’ve ever had, the bacon was crisp, potatoes were perfect and the eggs yummy. My wife’s meal was equally delicious, she order eggs, potatoes, toast and sausage. Nicole was our server and made sure every was perfect and never left our drinks get close to empty

Came by Ted's with a few friends to catch up and grab a bit for dinner. Ted's is a staple in DC and solid place to go for pretty good food. Environment Ted has an old school appeal that has baked goods in the front of the restaurant with a full bar which is also lovely. You can then go to the back of where are seats for dining space. Its a great casual place for food. Feel free to take friends here after work or better yet for breakfast. Anytime of the day works and they have something for everybody. Service Service was good and efficient. Our server made sure we have all we needed and was able to make accommodations as needed. No issues here. Food I kept it pretty simple and had the chicken sandwich with tater tots, lobster bisque and ended it with the brownie sundae (I know pretty random). The chicken sandwich did what it needed to do and the tater tots were really big and good. Tasted very fresh and really enjoyed them. The hit for the evening was the brownie sundae! It was sooooo good. A warm brownie with vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup all over it. It was short of amazing. Highly recommend. Overall Great time and never misses. Good food with a casual light hearted environment. Ted's is always on the list as places to go to when I need something solid for dinner or for breakfast.

I came to visit Washington DC over the summer and had to look for some amazing breakfast places. In my decision making algorithm, I found this place, Ted's. So, reservations were made, and we walked here one morning. It's in a great location compared to the Airbnb and the tourist stuff. We got promptly seated and started looking at the menu. We also go so hard on eating on these trips, so we have been trying to tone it down a bit and only order two entrees for breakfast, like normal people. But it was particularly hard decision making here at Ted's, there were so many good items. I still regret leaving those Chicken 'N' Biscuits on the table. But anyway, we did decided, and we ordered. I had the Original Breakfast Burrito (choice of chorizo or marinated flank steak, scrambled eggs, cotija cheese, avocado cream, green chile sauce, diced tomatoes, cilantro, hash browns). I chose the flank steak. This was a very lovely burrito. The sauce all over necessitates that you need to knife and fork it, but that's ok. Mix it up with the hash browns, throw in some ketchup, and boom, a great burrito with plentiful, quality toppings. I also got to try the pancakes with a side of bacon. Decent sized pancakes, decently fluffy, but with some heft. I like that they give you little balls of butter instead of those gross little packages. That's a huge plus. Bacon was nice, too. A good color and very crispy, just the way I like it. So that was it, two dishes and then we hightailed it out of there. All the while, we were surrounded by some prohibition era looking décor that made me feel like I was in a Gatsby movie or something like that. Big fan of this place. Hope I get to come back one day!

Absolutely spectacular dining experience at Tex’s Bulletin for brunch. Service was awesome in this spot with a great ambience and location in DC. The food was excellent too so much to choose from. Their avacado toast has such great attention to detail. The S’mores tart was special! To better enhance our awesome experience someone kind patron paid for my party of 5’s brunch!! Highly recommend Ted’s!!

Enjoyed the bakery treats we had the other day so much we came back for brunch. Be sure to call ahead for reservations as this is a very busy place with longer wait times. The food was excellent. I do recommend you come and enjoy this place when you’re in town

This restaurant is a true gem in DC! Drew was our waitress and he was outstanding! The food was incredible, no wait to eat and everything was fresh and so quick. The portions a great size. Absolutely recommend the Boozy Shake, banana foster so good! Also, the steak nachos delicious! Definitely coming back! Thank you so much Drew you made my birthday special.

This was my first time being back in DC since 2017. I absolutely loved this place my two girlfriends introduced me to. The portions were huge and I really enjoyed my breakfast in the evening! Any place that serves a good breakfast all day is my kind of eatery. Devonte was a great wait staff person. Loved the ambience and the neighborhood.

We tried Ted’s Bulletin for dinner on a Friday evening. We were able to be seated right away, which is always nice. We shared a bowl of lobster bisque soup, which would have been considered a cup anywhere else. It was fine. We each got an entree of the County Fried Chicken, which had boneless breast, mashed potatoes, white gravy, and glazed carrots. It was enjoyable, but didn’t blow us away. The best part of the meal was the Double Chocolate Devil’s Food Cake, which was cool and rich. The service wasn’t what I’m used to, especially in larger cities. The server kept joining a table with her friends and eating off their food with her hands in-between checking on us. No employees in the establishment batted an eye at this, so it must be commonplace. To me that seems both unprofessional and unhygenic, and since they were at the table next to us it was slightly awkward since I didn’t want to pull her away from her friends to ask for anything. Overall, it was fine. If I was a permanent DC resident rather than on vacation I’m not sure if I’d go back.

This place is okay…it has a nice variety of “classics” on the menu. I also love places that have a bakery inside so I was really excited to try the in house made pop tart, but if was mad dry with not much filling inside of it. I don’t know if that was just the one I got, but regardless it was a bit disappointing! Beyond that the food was cool, nothing special. The aesthetic and customer service were better then the food and coffee. However the are good especially for what your getting.

Absolutely loved everything I ordered! I had to try a shake (s’mores) and a Teds Tart (s’more!) and then for my actual meal ordered the Tarts Pancake meal that had crumbled up Teds Tarts! Made a reservation which was definitely needed and got in right at reservation time! Staff was super friendly and attentive to water refills! Definitely will be back!

Walked past this restaurant on my way home and decided to stop and have dinner. I'm so glad I did. My waitress was very nice and sociable. I ordered their Lavender Mule from the cocktail menu, Loaded Tater tots to start and decided to go with Avocado toast for my dinner, and finished everything off with their seasonal Cherry Blossom Churros. Every thing tasted amazing, I'd caution on using too much of the ranch sauce on the tater tots. It added an extra salt flavor that my mouth didn't like, use it sparingly. The Avocado toast was worth it the price. The poached eggs were made perfectly and there was a lot more avocado than I expected so that was a pleasant surprise. (Note it can be spicy with they peppers they use). All in all I'm happy I found this place while on a walk. I'll need to stop by again and try out a nother dish!

We ate here twice once for breakfast and once for dinner. Both times was good! Portions are pretty big as you would expect. Service was great as was the atmosphere. Place was pretty busy for breakfast at 8:30 am on a Saturday. They have great cakes and donuts as well. Good place to go for honest American food.

This carrot cake was mid. It was dry inside and sorta hard. The iceing was great but the cake itself, 3 out 5 stars. However, overall the wait staff was great and can't beat the ambiance. Also, order the strawberry milkshake. Way better than the carrot cake.

I’ve come here twice now and probably plan to every time I come from NY. The food is always so good though the service is kind of lackluster. Most of the servers looked like they weren’t having the best day but other than that, this place is great. It is beautifully restored into a restaurant from whatever it was previously. This restaurant also has nice bathrooms (two stalls for the females and thick wooden doors). If you’re going to get anything, I highly recommend the burrito with the sauce on the side! The sauce on top is a little too messy. The unlimited coffee is pretty good as well and they leave a pot on your table so you can top off yourself as often as you want.

Our server Andrew was so kind and welcoming. The food was okay. I had the chicken piccata, and my bff had breakfast (with chicken sausage). The piccata sauce was thin and lacking in flavor (I added salt & a squeeze of fresh lemon juice), and the chicken was overcooked; however, the pasta was a great texture and earned the dish it's 3/5 stars (or 6.2/10 if you're grading like Keith Lee). I was disappointed that the dish lacked the lemony bite that characterizes piccata; a flavor I was ready for. To me, it's not worth $20. My bff had no real complaints about her breakfast, but she did mention that the chicken sausage "was bland" and "a little tough." I also had the tamarind wings, which were way overcooked; chewy, dry, unpleasant. This restaurant's cooks/chefs have got to stop overcooking their protein.

Ted's Bulletin made me fall in love with simple breakfast sandwiches again. Also, one definitely should pay a little extra and get their homemade tater tots! You will never be satisfied with regular tater tots again. So proceed with caution. One complaint was our server. While generally attentive, she did forget about my request for more water and also my significant other's request for a to-go box. Aside from that, cool ambience and good food!

They had around a 30min wait for our table and got us on the wait-list quickly and communicated well through their text based system. Once our table was ready our service was in point even on a busy holiday week (4th of July in DC). The food was exceptional! The whole family enjoyed their meal but that Super Deluxe Grilled Cheese with Tomato soup is in a class of its own! Grilled cheese with Mac and Cheese with a braised short rib... It's so good!🤤🤤

We tried to go for lunch, but didn't make reservations in time. There was a 45 min wait for a seat. We were too hungry to wait but came back for dinner and sure glad we did! I got the super deluxe grilled cheese with tomato soup. That joint hit! Cooked to perfection with short rib and mac and cheese! The tamarind wings were good and the seasonal apple cinnamon Ted tart was good, but $8 for 1 "pop tart" I wouldn't normally do that... only for the experience. The food was done in record time! Never had my food served that fast. Great food and experience.

Made a reservation without knowing if I was going to go. I'm glad I did! The food is so flavorful. It was made from scratch, hot and fresh. We were seated timely, and our waitress greeted us immediately. Everyone was courteous. Please give this restaurant a try. I don't know about the parking, I took an Uber. Plus, they serve breakfast all day with homemade poptarts. Highly recommend 👌🏽. I'll be back!

During a recent visit to Ted's Bulletin, a combined restaurant, bar, and coffee shop, we opted for a light selection including carrot cake, an Americano, and tea. While the ambiance of the place was inviting, the carrot cake unfortunately seemed a bit past its prime, lacking the freshness we hoped for. The Americano and tea were satisfactory, offering a nice complement to our snack. Despite the minor disappointment with the cake, the overall experience was decent, making Ted's a suitable spot for a casual coffee or tea break.

This restaurant is a true gem in DC! Ro was our waitress and she was amazing! The food was incredible, no wait to eat and everything was fresh. It is a little pricey, but the portions make up for it. Absolutely recommend the Chicken Parm! Also, the avocado vinaigrette is so good!

Large format seating but comfortable and still private to an extent. The service was very hospitable from the hosts to the wait staff even to the manager coming by and checking up on tables while also clearing dishes. The food was delicious and well portioned. I wanted to try so many things but settled with make your mark plate to choose my samplings. The Ham was more than I expected, perfect. And i try grits everywhere I go and these were some of the better cheddar grits I've had. Definitely want to come again when visiting DC.

Great spot for a refreshing breakfast. We had Breakfast Burrito, Croque Madame and Chicken and biscuits with sausage gravey. Everything was fresh , hot and delicious!! It made for a great start to our day in Washington. This place is a must for anyone visiting the city.

Pretty good brunch location! For drinks, we just got a caramel iced coffee and a vanilla milkshake. Coffee was okay, didn’t really taste the caramel flavor at all. For our meals- I got the Big Mark Breakfast. The sausage was very tasty but the eggs and hash brown were pretty bland, I ended up using dipping them in ketchup. Boyfriend got the salmon toast, that was surprisingly tasty! I was just weirded about eating raw salmon as my first meal of the day but it caught me by surprise!

Well this was the start to my Sunday Funday! I found a great atmosphere and welcoming stool at the bar. Menu provided so many options but the lovely service helped me decide on my fave pancakes. Didn’t realize they closed at 9 especially since I was allowed to make an 845 reservation. Had to rush to order because the kitchen closed at 9 we got our food at 915 just in time for the lights to come up and the music to turn off. So all we heard was the sound of pots and pans being washed. Look I get it you want to go home but management should cut off reservations earlier.

Got there was super excited just knew this would be AMAZING. Well let's start with the good things Walter and the Grits. Walter was very pleasant and through the mask i still felt a smile. The grits were on point! Next it was Mara awful manager we stood at the register where she stood for 7 mins (no lie)this Heffa never once greeted us or said I'll be with you momentarily she just kept doing whatever the heck she was doing that set the tone for the rest of our time in there I was heated. We were out of towners and I can tell you we will not be back to this facility because of the Manager. Thanks #loyalreviewer

Stopped in for breakfast before leaving DC on Monday. Our server was excellent, very polite, knowledge and friendly. Food was delicious and was brought to our table very quickly. I recommend one of their poptarts or milkshake. Will definitely dine here afain upon my next visit to DC.

You'll find friendly folks and good fare here at Ted's. Contrary to what most signage says, the happy hour draft beers are actually $2.75 per, but the choices are limited to only 2. The food was really good and we weren't left waiting for anything we needed. This was my first experience with square tater tots, and I've gotta say I was quite satisfied by the hash brown taste. And if you've got a sweet tooth, this is the place for you. All desserts are made right there in the bakery and they have quite the selection to accommodate a wide range of tastes. The Ted Tarts are something akin to a Pop tart combined with a B&G pie. 8/10 would have again.

Such an awesome breakfast spot! I got the ultimate breakfast sammie and it was delicious. I also did a side of biscuits and gravy and a brown sugar cinnamon Ted tart. The food was okay, nothing exceptional or mind-blowing. Eating there now with covid is annoying... having to keep your mask on even while at your table and if anyone walks up while you're eating you have to put it back on. I get being safe but I'd rather just eat somewhere outdoors or at home. Or perhaps have everything run on an app and don't have waiters come to the tables.
