I
came
to
visit
Washington
DC
over
the
summer
and
had
to
look
for
some
amazing
breakfast
places.
In
my
decision
making
algorithm,
I
found
this
place,
Ted's.
So,
reservations
were
made,
and
we
walked
here
one
morning.
It's
in
a
great
location
compared
to
the
Airbnb
and
the
tourist
stuff.
We
got
promptly
seated
and
started
looking
at
the
menu.
We
also
go
so
hard
on
eating
on
these
trips,
so
we
have
been
trying
to
tone
it
down
a
bit
and
only
order
two
entrees
for
breakfast,
like
normal
people.
But
it
was
particularly
hard
decision
making
here
at
Ted's,
there
were
so
many
good
items.
I
still
regret
leaving
those
Chicken
'N'
Biscuits
on
the
table.
But
anyway,
we
did
decided,
and
we
ordered.
I
had
the
Original
Breakfast
Burrito
(choice
of
chorizo
or
marinated
flank
steak,
scrambled
eggs,
cotija
cheese,
avocado
cream,
green
chile
sauce,
diced
tomatoes,
cilantro,
hash
browns).
I
chose
the
flank
steak.
This
was
a
very
lovely
burrito.
The
sauce
all
over
necessitates
that
you
need
to
knife
and
fork
it,
but
that's
ok.
Mix
it
up
with
the
hash
browns,
throw
in
some
ketchup,
and
boom,
a
great
burrito
with
plentiful,
quality
toppings.
I
also
got
to
try
the
pancakes
with
a
side
of
bacon.
Decent
sized
pancakes,
decently
fluffy,
but
with
some
heft.
I
like
that
they
give
you
little
balls
of
butter
instead
of
those
gross
little
packages.
That's
a
huge
plus.
Bacon
was
nice,
too.
A
good
color
and
very
crispy,
just
the
way
I
like
it.
So
that
was
it,
two
dishes
and
then
we
hightailed
it
out
of
there.
All
the
while,
we
were
surrounded
by
some
prohibition
era
looking
décor
that
made
me
feel
like
I
was
in
a
Gatsby
movie
or
something
like
that.
Big
fan
of
this
place.
Hope
I
get
to
come
back
one
day!
