I do like the food here and some things are very reasonably priced. The drinks are good too. The only annoying thing is that they stop serving coffee after 2 pm, and that the place can sometimes be unbearably loud. Also, no wifi so definitely not a work environment.

First time visiting. Went around 9am on a Saturday morning. I’m a French toast enthusiast & I couldn’t wait to try their theirs. It’s the best French toast I’ve tried out of all the ones I’ve tried. Their velvet cake is delicious. The cafe is cozy with vibrant music. Great for kids as well. I will return.

This is a nice breakfast place. I really loved the vibe and design of the restaurant. And I liked how I could study there because the atmosphere was so chill. I just didn’t get why it was so expensive because I had an egg sandwich with cheese for $9 (no coffee or drink). I wanted to try the famous biscuits but they were baked with bacon and I couldn’t find a vegan option.

Had some colleagues visiting from out of town and they wanted to try something local so I choose a baked joint. The short rib Sammy is like eating a bowl of sweet French onion soup on bread. It was fantastic. However my short rib was wayyyy over cooked. Honest mistake and still good. Get yourself some napkins for this one. I finished with the ginger lemon cookie and it was baked to perfection. Perfect way to have a nice late lunch and talk business.

The Baked Joint bakery in DC, a sister joint of the famous Baked & Wired, has become a monthly pilgrimage for my sweet cravings. The moment you walk in, you're greeted by an enticing array of treats that promise a delightful experience. Their cookies and cupcakes are simply delectable, showcasing a perfect balance of flavors and textures. But what truly sets Baked Joint apart - well at least for me - is the OMG Box, a masterpiece that has my taste buds dancing with joy. This indulgent creation features a graham cracker crust, layered with homemade caramel, marshmallow, and a bittersweet chocolate glaze. The combination is an explosion of sweet and savory, with a satisfying crunch and gooey, rich layers that blend harmoniously.

Got the french toast with fruit, maple syrup and bacon. My friend got the same but with fried egg. So delicious!!! Sweet, fruity and warm. Water provided. If you want ice ask for a cup. Very friendly service. We visited early so plenty of seating. Did not get any coffee drinks this visit but the coffees looked really good. Bathrooms and clean. We will be back!

Great vibes and food. I love the homemade biscuit egg sandwich. Low price for a small portion so get two if you're starving. Wouldn't rave about the coffee but it's fine in a pinch. The grandma style pizzas are solid. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating, but it fills up on weekend mornings after 10am or so. Also look out for their free movie screenings, I went to see Spirited Away and had a blast. This will be my go to cafe from now on!

They have great coffee here. they use great coffee machines. the smoked salmon was a bit salty for my taste. Espressos and lattes apparently closes around 3. The people who work in the late afternoon are really nice. (Additional visits) I tried their tomato soup which was just amazing. Steel cut oatmeal was ok. The BLT is great if you add the extra egg. Coffee so far is the best.

My family was visiting the area from NJ and we had the most delicious breakfast at this cafe. First, the vibe / music and staff are exactly what we needed for a Sunday morning. The staff were soft spoken and friendly. The biscuit and egg were cooked perfectly, moist and flavorful. The coffee was made by an expert barista who truly understands the nuances of coffee art… the beans were roasted well and the flavor/ freshness was amazing. We purchased a gluten free pop tart to eat on the ride home and wish we had bought 5… WOW it was amazing. I purchased an onion and feta focaccia to take home and haven’t been able to stop eating it. My only criticism is with the cupcake - I found it a bit dry and dense, and the cookie was “chewy” where I wish it were soft and fluffy/ Melting with chocolate. I would highly recommend A Baked Joint to everyone and it will be at the top of my “must go back” places in DC. Keep up the great work!

The smoked salmon sandwich was absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and the venue had a good vibe. It cost around $12 and took about 15 minutes to prepare the order. The inside has lots of cozy seating and the patrons seemed friendly. This place is conveniently located near where I work and live and I will definitely be visiting again. **Went back and got some Green tea, coffee and the tuna sandwich. FYI, no public WiFi if planning to work here.***

The vibe in this place is so fun! You order in the line and then find a spot to sit. It was crowded when I was there but seats turned over relatively quickly. The pear croissant and labneh toast were delish. I got a gluten free cherry chocolate cupcake to go and it was so yummy.

This place has the best chai tea in town! I went to two other places after, and they weren’t even close to comparable. Even the decor inside was amazing as I loved how they re-purposed old flowers into new decorations and had plenty of plants for sale and seats available.

The sweet person behind the counter suggested the cold cappuccino over the nitro, and she was spot on. She also recommended the tuna sandwich, and it was delicious - loaded with greens and everything bagel seasoning on the edge of the toasted bread. I’d come back here in a hot minute to try all the incredible looking bakery items.

Delicious food and welcoming atmosphere! We stopped into A Baked Joint for breakfast/lunch and it heartily delivered with a wide selection of delicious items. The food was prepared relatively quickly, and was so delicious that looking past the price point was easy. I would highly recommend this place if you are in the area and looking for a light meal.

What a Joint it is! It's not often one encounters a 360°of goodness for a breakfast, lunch / coffee spot. Proper lighting, the right mix for setting, a menu just simply full of delectable, delightful goodies, and eats designed to tease and tantalize your pallet. Explore and enjoy, I know I did, and will do it again.

The best breakfast I’ve had in DC! I ordered the berry and granola yogurt, and it was absolutely delightful. Great coffee, too. The environment was beautiful, and it was so lovely to get to have breakfast on the patio. Definitely recommend!

A Baked Joint is the spot to go if you’re in this area. My cold tea and breakfast was on point. Their bread is made fresh every day in-house. I absolutely love the vibe and experience. I will come back here again.

Delicious food, lots of options for meals, sweets and drinks. Excellent coffee too! Great environment for a chat or to get some work done,m and efficient, friendly staff. I’m so glad they survived the pandemic! Be sure to check out their OG spot, Baked & Wired, also!

Never have a bad experience at a Baked Joint. From the bites to the drinks to the sweets, I love it all (especially the cupcakes 🧁). I had the prosciutto sammy and it was everything it was supposed to be. So delicious and fresh!! And then of course I had a cupcake

This is a great place to go for lunch! Their potato soup is my favorite I've had in DC so far! Their salmon toast is also amazing! Overall a very nice place for a casual bite to eat and has really cute dried flower decorations!

Great ambience, generally kind staff, and the pumpkin gingerbread was so moist and yummy. Really all the baked goods are amazing and the coffee as well. Just really bummed they don’t have wifi or I’d come work here more.

I usually get the drip coffee which is one of the best in DC. Pour over is also very good. And I love their chicken sandwich on croissant.

Delicious made from scratch biscuit breakfast sandwich. Their creations are original and tasty. The coffee is also good as well as the pastries. Order in advance or be patient to wait in line specially during the weekends. Plenty of seating options inside and outside.

This place is awesome. Never mind the bakery, the coffee is too good. Espresso options, one of the best cortados I have had, the lattes are unique. Now if you do mind the bakery, get the pistacho cake!

Coffee was great even though the place is as busy as it gets right now. No wifi, cookies were a bit dry so ask to warm them up. Lively and lovely place.

I ordered a yogurt/fruit/granola bowl and it was very good. They added honey for some more flavor. I also asked the man taking my order what they were kinda known for and he said “the omg bar” which is the second picture. It was a little bit like a s’more, but better. Very neat little place. I would highly recommend enjoying this place for breakfast.
