No one was there when I arrived for my appointment. When someone did come I wouldn’t call that person nice or friendly. The wait to get back to a treatment room wasn’t long, the wait inside the treatment room was about 25 minutes. Enough time to take a look at the reviews.. From what I’ve gathered, this is a decent establishment for urgent care needs. I do not advise anyone to utilize AllCare as a primary care provider.

Dealing with AllCare has without a doubt been the worst experience I’ve ever had with any doctor’s office. Doctor Duke can’t be bothered to fill out a simple form my insurance company needs so I can get my prescription. His office told me that the insurance company declined to cover the cost, but when I called the insurer they said that wasn’t true…they were just waiting on him to fill out the form as they had requested. They have since sent him the form multiple times, without any response, despite numerous follow up calls from the insurer and myself. I’ve been asking his office for days (which has taken up hours of my time) to complete the form, which they are unmercifully choosing not to complete for some reason. I’ve been without my needed medication for days (with my problem getting worse) and every time I call Dr. Duke’s office, they simply punt me to an automated answering machine. No one ever follows up with me, calls me back or even seems to care that I’m not able to get my medication. One person answering the phone even hung up on me when I was trying to explain the situation. Right after she hung up on me, AllCare sent me a request to fill out this review….so here I am. I went to this awful clinic in the first place because they offered “urgent” care, which I needed at the time. I regret it because here I am days later without any prescription and no indication at all from the office that I will ever get it. So there was nothing urgent about the care they provided. Not to mention that this entire situation has been so demeaning for me….I’ve resorted to begging my doctor for help. Absolutely terrible customer service and medical “care”. Avoid this office. EDIT: I have reached out to the email address AllCare provided in their response to this review, and after weeks still haven’t heard back. This Doctor’s office doesn’t care at all about customer service. They even had the gall to send me a bill. The doctor did absolutely nothing. I had to chase him for over a week asking him to fill out a simple form for my insurer which he never did. I ended up going to another doctors office, and had my medicine within 24 hours. AllCare is absolutely horrible. They are a scam. They engage in fraud. AVOID!

Dr. Adams was amazing- very thorough and took the time to talk through everything carefully. Every single person from check in, to blood draw was friendly, helpful and polite. The wait time however was horrendous. I waited almost a full hour to be seen and then another 30+ minutes after the exam was done waiting for someone to take my blood. I finished check in at 10:35 and it’s currently 12:38 and I’m only just leaving now. Over 2 hours for a basic physical is sort of excessive in my view, and I’m now torn because Dr. Adams is amazing and I genuinely liked every part of my actual care experience but I just don’t know if I have the time to take 2 hours every time I need to have an appointment.

Dr. Roscoe Adams is a knowledgeable provider with great bedside manners. I feel at ease with him as my primary care doctor and appreciate the time/ effort; he takes to review my medical history, lab results and provide recommendations. It’s quite refreshing to have a medical provider that actually cares. I don’t feel rushed or disregarded in our interactions. I will recommend him to family and friends.

Everyone at this office is very nice and kind. However, please note that this office is not really an urgent care, because they do not take walk ins from people who are sick. The website homepage says they take walk ins, but when I arrived, I was turned away. Later they told me the appointments page of their website indicates no walk ins are available, but of course I did not visit the appointments page, because I planned to walk in. Just wanted to share this to save other sick folks time. I went to a CVS minute clinic instead and got good care, for less money than I would have paid here. Again, everyone was very nice and kind — and apologetic! — and I am sure their primary care is very good. Just a matter of needing to improve their website info about being an urgent care.

Dr. Adams is the best doctor I've ever had! He has a great bedside manner and he explains everything in great detail. The office is clean. The staff is friendly. The wait time is amazing. Scheduling an appointment is easy and communication is stellar. Even though I only see Dr. Adams about once a year, he always remembers details from prior visits. He knows his patients. I recently saw Dr. Zakaryan for the first time in Dr. Adams' absence and he was great too! I only have positive things to say about this practice! It's a good feeling to find healthcare that you can trust!

The check in was easy and quick, and they called me to the back pretty quickly, which was great. The nurse who came in and took my vitals was great. He was personable and made me feel comfortable, but, unfortunately, that is where the pleasantries ended. The doctor came in after a while and barely spoke to me. She just kept leaving out of the room, avoiding eye contact, and mumbling. I was supposed to be there for a follow up after being admitted to the hospital, which was already traumatic in itself. She didn’t say much to me at all. Didn’t help to explain what next steps would look like or what I should be looking out for to know something was wrong. She didn’t help to explain what my diagnosis would mean for the next six months or how it would change my life going forward. I left out not even knowing why I needed to see her. She asked if I needed anything else, and I said I was hoping to get more answers or explanations, and she just chuckled and escorted me to the front to pick up my referral. I’m giving two stars because the nurse was amazing, and I got the referral I guess I needed.

AMAZING and easy! On vacation in DC, one of my kids got strep... got a same day appt for him via video and had a prescription ready for pickup in less than 2 hours!!! Even did our appointment on the steps of the Capitol. Dr. Adams was FANTASTIC with my kid - very kind and very thorough. Thank you!!!!

My visit was seamless. The staff was friendly and I absolutely love Dr Duke! He is an awesome physician. He was actually the physician who discovered that my husband,, at the age of 33 years old, needed heart surgery. Dr. Duke office scheduled my husband follow up visits and he ultimately needed 5 bypass done at the same time. ThIs happened 18 years ago. Today my husband is now a healthy and active 51 year old man with a college freshman. I owe it all to Dr. Duke...

I have been to this office multiple times now, and the staff is so friendly and helpful. Dr. Adams takes the time to carefully and thoroughly explain everything -- from things in the physical exam to a complete explanation of bloodwork. The whole staff is kind and caring, and they're also very considerate of self-pay patients, helping them to find options that are more cost effective. I've had a great experiencing visiting this office.

At first I not want to seek medical help, but reluctantly I did after some severe symptoms. So- I came to this urgent care and they were just what I needed. Very straight to the point and kind. I love that it was all black practitioners. This made me feel 100x more comfortable in the process of getting treatment. Thank you so much!!!!!

After suffering at another clinic for four hours and sent home with inadequate medication, this clinic mercifully did everything right. I was seen at the scheduled hour, the receptionist was willing to do her job, the medical assistant immediately took my vitals and tested me for covid, the flu, and pneumonia. Dr. Adams was in the consult room within fifteen minutes of my appointment. He did a thorough examination and while he couldn't pinpoint whether I had an atypical viral respiratory infection, bronchitis or even pneumonia he prescribed the medication that made feel better immediately. I'm very grateful that I found this clinic.

Dr Adams is the best, full of empathy, patience and talks you through what you have in details. He saved me from pneumonia after having to see another doctor who couldn’t care less about my condition. The practice team is also super helpful and nice.

I visited this AllCare facility to get a medical certificate for a visa certifying that I had my vaccinations up to date. After explicitly asking when making the appointment and when arriving for my visit if my insurance would cover the visit and being told "yes", I received a $250 bill for a visit that took 15 minutes and just required my doctor to write a note. After calling to ask why I was getting this bill despite having insurance, they said that with insurance it would only be $100. So not only did they originally over charge me by $150, but then I still had to pay $100 out of pocket. Every other doctor I've spoken to since has assured me that this type of certificate would only cost a max of $10 for the sharing of vaccination records. To say this has been a frustrating experience would be an understatement!

My recent visit to AllCare could not have gone any better! The check-in process was quick and effortless, the nurse and physician were professional, friendly, compassionate and made this first-timer feel very comfortable. This will be my new go-to place should I need primary/immediate care in the future. Highly recommend!

Scheduled a telehealth appointment through their website with Dr. Margaryan for 10:45pm on 9/23. Waited over an hour past my appointment time til just prior to midnight. No one ever showed up. I tried to call the office but just got a recorded message that the office was closed. Why do you have appointments available to book til 1am if you close at 8pm? What an incredible waste of time.

  • 5/5 LJ G. 1 year ago on Google
Me, a genius, schedule my appointment for a week later than I meant to. So I show up, they can’t find my appointment but they were really nice in helping me realize the mistake. Anyways it was 9AM appointment and they said a walk in would be fine. It was for a general check up and I don’t think I waited more than 30 minutes to see the doctor.

I have always appreciated the care I received at the Wisconsin & Idaho Ave office. The care and time that Ms Wood’s spent with me was outstanding. She was direct and caring in laying out her concerns for my health issues. I wish all health professionals possessed her skill.

This was my first time visiting AllCare Family Medicine & Primary Care. I had a very pleasant visit from beginning to end. All of the team members were very friendly and professional. Dr. Adams listened to all of my concerns and answered my questions. I felt that a quality amount of time was allocated for the visit. I look forward to working with Dr. Adams regarding my health care.

My daughter had not been feeling well and had a sore throat for more than five days. We at-home covid tested her every day, all negative. She got an appointment at All Care, and we were pleased and surprised at how quickly she was in and out. When she got home, she said they did a strep test. Well, that's all they did. She still had a sore throat a few days later, and was able to get seen at her regular practice. They tested for strep, covid, and flu. Turns out she had flu A.

I am so happy that a large corporation has produced a working medical program. It’s a great opportunity for patients and med workers to get the most from healthcare in a flexible smaller community. Smart. Big company thought LOCAL. It works. As for my doctor, he is a wonderful medical practitioner. I have been his patient for 3years and he is the best primary care I have ever had. I feel like he is invested in the care I get. The format for help is realistic and inclusive. All very humane and available.

Very unprofessional practice. Called me an hour before my first appointment and asked about my symptoms then said will switch the appointment to online. I doubt the person on the phone understood my symptoms and not sure how online would solve or address anything. I walked into a different practice without an appointment, and in a few minutes I was diagnosed with Swimmer's ear. Enjoy your COVID fear policy.

I love it here! Dr. Adams is so kind, an attentive listener and so proactive about finding solutions to my concerns. It was the first time a doctor patiently listened, asked me questions and talked me through options in a way that didn't feel judgy or rushed. I was wowed!

  • 1/5 Nicole F. 1 year ago on Google
The staff and waiting area is so nice! But that’s as far as I got. If you have any symptoms similar to COVID, you’ll have to do Telehealth and then do any in-person testing at a different facility. If you don’t have a car or a ton of free time, this isn’t the place for you. Edit: this was for a Saturday urgent care appointment. I went to GW up the road and they did everything under one roof.

I had been searching for a primary care physician since my physician relocated. I was looking for a convenient location and flexible hours. I hit the jackpot! Ms. Nicole and her staff are very simply the best!! She was very attentive to my health needs and I look forward to my new relationship and a successful health journey 😊😊😊

My wife and I are new patient. With our first visit, we were greeted like we had been a patient for a while. The staff are friendly and smiles even behind the mask. Malik, the doctor’s assistant is awesome and very light with his hands to take lab samples. Dr. Adams is great he’s straight to the point and thorough with his examination. Good place and very convenient, specially when the weekends is your only free time to visit your family physician. Kudos to AllCare team! 👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽

I had a fantastic experience with this clinic. The doctor and staff were on point — efficient and competent and very respectful. I was just a walk in and they quickly verified my insurance covered me and got me in with the doctor in 15 minutes. I had so many calls and appointments that day and they helped me so I could get back to my life. I will be going here again next time.

I went in without an appointment after cutting my finger and needing stitches. They said it might take a while to be seen, but I did not wait very long at all. Everyone I interacted with was very friendly and kind, and Dr. Duke was so gentle with me even when I reacted poorly to feeling the needle in my hand. He was kind and patient and gave me a moment to calm down before finishing. Hopefully I never need to go back, but in case of another medical need I would definitely choose to go back here! Probably the most convenient location for Tenley/Cathedral/AU area (since I had a hard time finding anywhere that would do stitches!)

My experience with AllCare was excellent. Easy to make an appointment, very punctual video call with the doctor who was very caring and gave the right advice. The doctor showed genuine concern in my case and was very vigilant about the meds he prescribed so that they didn’t interfere with other medications I was on. I would use this facility again in a heart beat.

This urgent care is amazing. They have helped me in the middle of the night with compassionate care. All of the doctors are professional, knowledgeable, compassionate, and will help you!! Will definitely tell all my friends and relatives to call or come here. The receptionist are very nice too, which, I don't know about your experiences, but I've felt like I was in an assembly line before and they are Snippy. Not here!! Highly recommend!!

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Adams and his staff. They are smart and compassionate medical professionals that take the time to listen to their patients. I went to many different doctors who couldn't figure out what was wrong with me and told me they couldn't really help. However, Dr. Adams listened, ordered the right tests and really went out of his way to help me. With his help, I am feeling much better and living with a now diagnosed problem that's managed really well with is help. Dr. Adams takes the time to get to know you and doesn't rush your appointment like many doctors in the area, he genuinely wants to understand how he can help. I send all of my friends here because AllCare on Wisconsin is the best!

I have been seeking Dr. Adams for the last 1.5 years and I wouldn’t see anyone else for my GP care. The flexible hours and option for tele-health visits make this office so accessible! Dr. Adams is wonderful, I would definitely recommend him!

Do not recommend. The experience with them was dishonest and unprofessional. With other doctors in this same location, Ive always been charged $15 for every visit at any time during the weekday. But this time Doctor Sally Young over charged me about 69 dollars for my appt. When I called to ask why, they said because my appt. was at 5PM. I was never told this information before and my past appts. had always been after 5. They were dishonest with me and when I called they did not even apologized for the lack of transparency. To put this extremely overpriced fee in perspective, to be seen in an Emergency hospital costs $25 with my insurance. So it feels very fraudulent for a small immediate care facility that doesn’t have x ray equipment, labs, etc to charge more than double the price that cost to been see at an actual ER hospital. Furthermore, the service given to me was unprofessional. Sally Young gave me a referral for an X ray on a Friday. On Monday, I emailed her to find out my results. On Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday I called as well. To only be told by the receptionist that she doesn’t know when the Dr. would come into the office. A week has gone by and I didn’t get a response until my husband went in person to ask for someone to speak to me about my x ray results. Another doctor called me then to tell me the x ray results and then charged me again for just telling me results that Sally Young was supposed to tell me about. Oh and it took 1 hour and 30 minutes for the Telehealth visit to start. The service was completely unprofessional, dishonest, and fraudulent. No one said sorry for how this all played out. I used to recommend this place to my friends and family but it has changed a lot. I don’t ever write reviews but I don’t want anyone else to have to deal with what I dealt with.

Very please with my visit yesterday; I was able to book a late afternoon appointment with Dr. Duke; I arrived very early (30 Minutes) and they were able to take me back to begin the assessment; testing, professional staff, very clean, with a through assessment by the physician.

I'm so thankful that this office opened. It's easy to get an appointment and Dr. Adams is such a lovely person and attentive doctor. FYI, their windows are tinted so it sort of looks like they're closed even in the middle of the day.
