😠 Great service and a wide selection!! Prices are insane (I was just charged more than $9 for a 16oz lotus drink, not counting tip), especially when compared to other local spots. And in the last 6 months, most of the newbies can't get a drink made correctly. Disappointed lately, they were great and... People often mention coffee, friendly, drink, drinks,

Have not had the coffee yet but breakfast sandwich is inedible. I tried. English muffin tough as leather yet wet/greasy. Attempted To then eat “egg” disc and sausage and ice crystals in some spots. Nice friendly server but I certainly cannot recommend the breakfast sandwich Hopefully other items are at least edible

And in the last 6 months, most of the newbies can't get a drink made correctly. Disappointed lately, they were great and went down hill fast. Not worth going to pay that price for a 50/50 chance of the drink even being correct. Hopefully, they can back on track.

The baristas are always friendly and I love their coffee. However, this place is extremely overpriced. I paid nearly $30 for a large smoothie, a 16 oz latte, and a 16 oz redbull. They claim they had to raise prices due to inflation, but they are robbing people of their money when any other coffee shop in town would charge half the price. This is a place I’ll only go to on occasion. There was also another time when I asked if they had milkshakes because a friend of mine wanted one and they said “yes” but what they ended up giving me was a frappuccino without any coffee. Frappuccinos are not milkshakes.

Honestly never reviewed anything online in my life, but these baristas are the sweetest, consistently. Every morning when I need a dose of caffeine they are just as much of a pick me up as the drinks (which are the best in town btw).

Stopped here despite seeing reviews saying they are over priced bc they were the closest coffee hut. Not only are they overpriced, but when they asked me how much I wanted to tip the barista working there the morning of 9/13 decided to add an extra dollar to her tip. Totaling a cost of $10 for a 16 oz Americano that wasn’t bad but definitely have tasted better. Do yourself a favor, save your money and taste buds, and head to Aftershock Espresso on Minnesota

Worst breakfast sandwich I have ever eaten. It was basically uneditable. There drinks are also very pricey compared to most coffee shops. Won't be back.

Loved the white coffee -- SO smooth, no bitterness or acidity, so much easier on your stomach if you suffer from acid reflux at all. As someone who can easily drink 2-3 cups of coffee in the morning, this gives me a much "cleaner" feeling energy without any sour stomach issues. The staff here is so fantastic, caring, and seem genuinely passionate about giving you a good cuppa, no matter what style you prefer. They will even prepare you little samples! I actually loved the white coffee so much I've completely sworn off of other roasts for the time being. Heartburn is nonexistent! I am from LA, and NOWHERE around here are cafes and coffee shops selling white coffee beans, let alone brewing it. I wish I knew where Alaska HoC sourced their beans from! I've recently purchases Poverty Bay grounds because of my awesome experience at AHoC. When I'm back in Anchorage, I will absolutely be back!!

First and foremost I’d like to thank AMBER an employee at Alaska House of Coffee for referring me. Also this place deserves a 5 star being that the service was excellent, fast and friendly. I’ve been to other coffee shops and it usually takes about 10 to 1hr wait time I won’t say any names Boom💥 lol. Anyways if your not sure want you want they will happily suggest any flavorful drinks hot or cold and will have you on your way in no time. They were so fast I showed up 30 minutes early for my shift in Muldoon. 😂😂 Thank you ladies the drinks are so bomb.

I’ve been coming here regularly, but some baristas don’t do it right and it’s disappointing. I would expect to get sugar that I asked for if I’m paying more than six dollars for a cup of coffee and I’m leaving tip on the top of that. This morning I just got an average cup of coffee with no sugar in. Now I have to drive 10 miles across town to my house to get sugar because I’m not going back to this place.

My favorite coffee shop. The staff is always very friendly and efficient. Even when they have a huge line of cars, I’ve never had a long wait. My drink is always made perfectly and you can add cbd to your drinks here!

Tried white bean coffee for the first time. It was very smooth no bitterness like darker roasts. Had a nutty flavor

The coffee was fine but everything here is very overpriced. Cheapest latte is $6.75 for 12oz. Looked at a menu phone before going by but the prices are drastically different. Posting a picture of the menu for current reference!

The best poppyseed lemon cream muffin I've ever had. I also enjoyed a hazelnut latte.

$15.50 for a 12 oz and a 16 oz drink before tip. Outrageously overpriced and the coffee was not better than anywhere else. This is not a sustainable business model.. I would never return even if I liked the coffee because the cost is so unreasonable. This is a big city with so many other coffee options, it really is baffling.
