I'm not sure what to make of this wine-tasting experience. Just to be clear, I wasn't expecting a high-end Napa-grade winery. I went in with the right expectations. And also I understand that each bottle of wine here is roughly between $20~$30 and their Reserve Cab comes in at around $50. However, my issue with Duck Walk is that they way open up their tasting room actually deteriorates their value prop and their wine. Duck Walk, despite the size of their winery. produces a whole variety of wine - from rieslings to cabs to malbecs to merlots. And what this does is each variety or wine just doesn't grapple with its own character. Plus the Long Island wind can be sense with type except for a few. But what's the most disappointing is the way they run their tasting room. You order the 4 you want to drink and they give it to you in plastic cups. Are you kidding me? I understand the convenience but much of these wines need the temperatur of the hand to warm things up. Not sure if folks comes here just to get drunk but certainly they are not giving their wines to be truly "tasted". ' My suggestion for Duck Walk is to focus on a few varieties and compensate for the "sharpness" of all their grapes. The Aphrodite is my favorite and the one that exemplifies the type of grape they have at Long Island. Everything else comes across aggressive or square peg in a round hole.

On Sunday, Matt the service provided outstanding service during my wine sampling. I sampled only dessert wines. The Blueberry Port was my favorite because it was paired with a few free pieces of dark chocolate. The Boysenberry Wine was my least favorite. There are snacks including cheese that are available for purchase, or you can bring your own. There is free live music on weekends from 1 - 5 pm. This vineyard is a popular wedding destination and event site. Dogs are also allowed. I have been coming here for years. It is a good way for singles like me to pass the time on lonely weekends.

Came to Duck Walk Vineyard as they are one of the few wineries in the Hamptons that let’s you bring your dog. Automatic 5 stars for that! We stopped by for a quick drink before dinner. Atmosphere was wonderful. So nice to sip some wine on a hot sunny day looking at the vineyard.

I stopped here with a group of friends to do a wine tasting. It can get very crowded and busy with groups so coming early is definitely worth it. You get to try 4 wines for $10 and their list is very diverse. They also sell all their wines as well as some snacks and beer. I'd recommend stopping in.

First time ever going to a winery and I now understand the hype. We got super lucky with a clear and sunny day. The grounds are gorgeous and the vibes are great. I feel super bougie sipping my award winning Sauvignon Blanc. I would recommend getting here early as it gets crowded quick. We arrived at 1:30 and got a great table next to the Coy pond. Even saw a fish jump! The LIRR will occasionally pass you in the distance. Makes you feel like you’re in Europe. Overall great time and 4 tastings for $15 is a steal.

The wine was 'ok'. I have never been to a winery that I had to pay for my tasting FIRST before I even decide to purchase any wine! I was told that I had to pay for the tasting first because once I walk out the back and sit, I could leave and they could do nothing about it. I said (reluctantly) 'OK'. I sat to enjoy my wine. I decided to purchase 1 bottle. The lady(same lady) came down the stairs and proceeded to take my order. She then asked me..."Remind me...did you already pay for your tasting"? Like what? If it is a normal practice to have someone pay for tastings up front, then why was that question asked of me???! I will not go back.

The staff was very friendly and super helpful and informative. It's a nice place to sit back and enjoy some live music on the patio while tasting some delicious wine. Definitely reccomend.

Vine is great, but sorry - what is your attitude? The lady at the register treated us like we were not welcome at the vinery. Very rude service. In the end she yelled ‘Hey guys, let’s go’, wrapping up our visit. Will never go back

Great atmosphere, live music and beautiful vineyard but both me and my wife had a very bad case of sore throat after having a bottle of wine an hour after and lasted two days

Love this winery! Great variety of wines - some wonderful reserve varietals. Had the place all to ourselves on a weekday afternoon, so some extra special service! Yes, ended up with several bottles to take home.

Had a fabulous time doing the wine tasting and chatting with other sippers and our hostess ELAINE was divine! We left with a mixed case of amazing local wines.

This is one of my favorite vineyards to visit in the Hamptons. The wine is good, and the atmosphere can't be beat. Such a beautiful place to spend an afternoon.

We did not like the wine that much, tables inside are plastic, wine was served in plastic cups over a paper plate...it felt more like a college cafeteria instead of a winery. The tasting was actually very affordable, but I would have preferred a higher price point and a good experience.

Pit stop at a wine vineyard on the way to Montauk is a good idea. I guess it is off season now so not a lot of people on Saturday plus I get there early. Even it in September but the weather is still very hot. We get wine testing course $16 each not include some snacks. Live music on, poor puppy is so hot but they have cold water so it help a lot. Nice sipping wine and see peaceful view.

A really big vineyard has many options in wines that you can enjoy here or take it with you different wine tasting options with their most famous vines. At the time of our visit there was live music also performed by a Lovely musician and singer. We had a great time here. They allowed us to see their brewery and storage areas.

Small outdated staff was not super welcoming. Floor in main room is uneven like an unfinished basement and the use cheap folding tables and chairs. Overall not the best vineyard experience I've ever had.

Group of friends and I were visiting for a long weekend and wanted to visit each of the winery’s on the island. We made it to Duck Walk Vineyard on a Monday afternoon (after trying to come on Saturday but it was too busy). We essentially had the whole place to ourself — an accidental private event for four. Matt who was working there was great and helped us with our tasting. All of the wines we tasted were super yummy and I ended up buying two bottles. Definitely suggest visiting for a tasting and more! If you’re looking for a small crowd I suggest going on a wet and rainy weekday afternoon. 😁

😠 Stopped in and purchased a small bag of their lemon crinkle cookies , they were totally stale, old, and for $10, for a few cookies, I’d expect them to be fresh. Ironically the bag says fresh market. Yea not so much. Garbage!
