My family of six with 2 dogs were displaced due to a house fire. We spent 65 days in 2 of the hotel rooms before moving into a bigger space for us until our house is finished. The hotel was very clean and welcoming by all staff. They decorate their lobby for all holidays which is nice when you no longer have a home. All the staff went above and beyond for my family. The ladies who served breakfast were always so kind to my children and I. The housekeepers kept our rooms cleaned and left sweet touches to the room making us feel like they put love into their work. The maintenance men were also equally amazing. We are actually sad to leave and say goodbye to the staff who treated us wonderfully for the past 65 days. It was their kindness that made losing our home bearable. Thank you so much to all who work here for everything. We will truly miss your smiling faces.

Great location. Nice pool. Helpful front desk employees. Breakfast was nice. It consisted of waffles, oatmeal, toast, muffins, cereal. The milk ran out and the employee staffing it said "sorry"-same thing when they ran out of maple syrup, "sorry." So those instances were frustrating. But rooms were quiet and spacious.

Location was ok. A little noisy near the highway. Rooms were nice. Decent space. Good workout room. Really like the peleton bike. Breakfast was fine.

The Hampton Inn, Waterbury was clean, comfortable and welcoming during my 1 night stay. The bed was very comfortable, firm but not like a board. Lots of towels in a spacious bathroom. There was a 24-hr coffee/hot water table in the lobby and a very nice breakfast selection. Highly recommend it.

Clean, convenient location, solid breakfast options. I would have rated it 5/5 if they offered room cleaning upon request. I understand due to covid some may not like their rooms cleaned daily; however, it would have been nice to have the option especially as this is a vacation destination.

Nice looking building the lobby is nice and clean staff are friendly. The pool is dirty they cleaned it a month ago the staff said and nobody has cleaned it since he said he'd have to call the people that take care of the pool somebody should be cleaning it on a daily basis. The hallways are very nice and clean keep up the good work housekeeping. The rooms are very outdated the furniture is nice but there is paint peeling off the walls in the bathroom doors and hair was left in the tub not a good feeling there's nothing like going somewhere and seeing a nice clean room and knowing everything is clean and perfect. And please fix the elevators because when you're on the top floor it shouldn't go up when the door opens and you press the down button. Time to redo this hotel. Breakfast was very good. P.s I photos.

The staff was very nice and very helpful. The facilities were clean considering they accept pets. Everyone at the hotel seemed happy and there were many customers enjoying the pool. Breakfast was standard hot hotel breakfast options, but I am very grateful for the variety and the convenience! My family got the jacuzzi suite which made my 2 year old very happy. Great stay overall, I highly recommend.

I knocked a star off because the breakfast spread was a bit sparse and they had no unsweetened coffee creamer at all and I'm diabetic. I can't eat many breakfast offerings anyway, but I need my coffee in the morning to be as I like it. Overall, it was a decent place and the kids loved the pool.

It's an older hotel. It does have the amenities open. The staff was nice as well. The rooms have several drawers and a closet. There is not a ton of counter space or outlets like the newer hotels have. It was a nice stay for a night or so but not extended stay.

Although there was no room available, I still have to comment on the great customer service the front desk gave! My husband and I got there after 1am and this lady offered us coffee, bottled water, and asked if we needed to use the restrooms before leaving to find another hotel. She was very beneficial to a long days drive! Thank you!

1st off we requested an early check-in 3 days earlier they said they can only add a note to the file. So.. ok.. we get there2 hrs early for normal check-in time and still not ready. Then after checkout next morning we noticed a part of my new car was stolen. When I went to the front desk they were not surprised. And says it happens all the time.ifnit happens all the time maybe they should put a security person out there to keep our stuff safe

I must say I booked the room months ago only on the basis it was part of the Hilton family. A week before my stay I looked online and saw a good deal of the reviews were unfavorable, and I got nervous. I can only attest to my stay and the room I was in (307), but the room was very clean. The A/C / heat worked perfectly (controlled by thermostat on the wall). Bed sheets were fresh. Coffee in the morning was very good. Would have loved to stay for the breakfast because it smelled delicious, but we were in a rush. Good job Hampton Inn. We were in town overnight for a wedding, and you gave a perfect ending to a perfect day.

The staff was absolutely fantastic!!. Everyone was extremely friendly and respectful. I truly appreciated the hospitality from Niles, Kevin, Shirley, and, Coco. My Room was clean and my bed was comfortable. I didn't have to deal with any loud noise which was a plus. I have to admit the highlight of my business trip was with a young man by the name of Prathon. He greeted not only myself but every guest that came in the breakfast area each morning. I watched him guard that buffet as if it was the President's kitchen. I was only going to drink a cup of tea because not all hotels keep a clean station. However he proved me wrong. The buffet was well lit and everything looked fresh. I enjoyed my breakfast each day and even had their red velvet waffles recommend by Prathon this morning before checking out. Thank you all very much for your amazing service and I look forward to seeing you soon. Thank you Prathon for your morning greetings and keeping that area so clean and inviting.

Nice hotel with small indoor pool, complementary breakfast and comfortable rooms. The staff (both cleaning staff and front desk staff were helpful and friendly. Considering the remote location, this hotel could really use some electric vehicle charging, or accessible outdoor outlets. There are some chargers located closer to the town center ~10 minutes away, but overnight charging would be ideal.

Front desk staff was incredible (I believe her name was Coco). She went way above and beyond for a guest checking in before me when the guest did not deserve it. We had something happen during our stay and she resolved it immediately and above expectations.

This place is horrible... wife and I stayed here because it was 2 minutes away from family wedding Venue. We checked in with a service animal at around 5pm. We get back to room 1am. I grab my room key and take my dog out side. Coming back to my room I Realize I forgot to observe my room number. I go to front desk for help showing them I have my room key I just don't know what room I'm in. Front desk refused to help me even though I am in possession of the service animal that my wife checked in with a few hours earlier. Asked multiple times for help and they refused . At this point I go and lay down on the bench wondering what to do with my poor service animal. The front desk called the police on me and try to have me arrested. Luckily the Waterbury PD was very helpful and very nice. Waterbury PD inform them that I cannot be trespassed because I have a room key and I am staying here. I was detained and put in handcuffs and in the back of a police cruiser for about 45 minutes while the police straightened out the issue. The Front desk staff were very unprofessional and very rude. The next morning we wake up skip our free breakfast because we are disgusted with how we've been treated and we leave. Come to find out as a retaliation from the evening before. the front desk staff i allegedly accused us of smoking in the room. They supposedly could not rent the room for 3 days. They also supposedly had pictures of ashes and cigarettes in the room. You could tell by the way they really covered themselves with all the evidence that this is not the first time they have pulled this scam. I was charged a miscellaneous $500 for loss of room rates and cleaning to this room. At the end of the day there is nothing I can do about it. they stole $500 from me. Do not ever stay here.

The front desk, Paris and Gabriel were awesome. Very busy with lots of guests checking in. That didn't stop their spirit and professionalism. They were welcoming and helpful. Then, the night team Ebony was helpful, professional, and kind. Breakfast was excellent. Our room was clean and quiet. We traveled across America last year, staying at Hampton Inns. I KNOW quality! Thank you.

I liked it very accommodating, welcoming. The old fashioned waffle, breakfast the usual at Hilton hotel the only major difference is that waffle maker. That large waffle turns into four which is more than enough for one person I did it for 1 full cycles and a few minutes I stopped it after putting it on a second time. Very clean, Hilton employees polite as usual..

This, the Hampton Inn, is the only hotel that I will stay at when I fly to Waterbury, CT, to see my boyfriend. It's clean. Environment and atmosphere have good comfortable vibes. Staff are reliable and pleasant - All staff there. I just feel comfortable in my room and in my skin, if that makes any sense 😎Oh yes, they have free breakfast, 6 - 10 a.m. and ... and they are pet friendly. Oh and also, they have smoking and non-smoking rooms. Oh yes a swimming pool too !!! It's just a great place for anyone. Business trip. Vacation trip. Just driving through and need a room, trip 😂 I think you catch my drift and 💜🌹

What can I say? Well, just checked in and how do I regret it. We shall see the rest of the day/ and tomorrow morning for breakfast! Pool is down/repairing. My 11 year old is completely heartbroken!! Gym room? Exercise machines are not working the right way, treadmill says to check motor, bicycle machine, ¿YOU MUST PAY TO USE IT? and elliptical machine goes on and off ….. Absolutely a disgrace. Never Again! Mind you it wasn’t cheap either. Holy moly, literally ruined my stay after driving more than 2 hours to get here.

Serviceable rooms. Nothing fancy. I was told the pool was closed AFTER we checked in. Did not find out about every other day room cleaning until we asked. Had to ask for free bottles of water.

Great stay at this Hampton Inn! Just stayed one night on my travels East and they made this stay warm and welcoming. I traveled with my dog and he got a welcome doggy treat as well as a door sign to let others know he was in the room. The complimentary breakfast was great and had many options to choose from! They even provided grab-and-go sack breakfast if you needed to leave quickly in the morning. I highly recommend staying here and I’ll continue to stay at Hilton affiliated hotels for all my future travels!

Overall this was a good hotel. It had a lot of positives. The free breakfast was good: eggs/omelet + breakfast meat + potato, waffle machines, oatmeal, breads/muffins, yogurt. There is free coffee/tea in the lobby. The fitness center is average to slightly above for this type of hotel (two treadmills, a bike, kettle bells, free weights, exercise step). The room had a minifridge and microwave, which is a must for me when I travel, because I travel for work and can't be eating out all the time. Unfortunately, the bed/pillows themselves weren't the most comfortable, though they were fine. The heating/AC unit was a little loud. The hotel is located in a bend in the road, behind trees, which made it a little tricky to see traffic getting in and out. The thing that bothered me the most was the fact that I could hear the person above me walking around late into the night. I'd read this happened to someone else in another review online. It really impacted my sleep. I think, overall, I would stay at this hotel again for all the positives. I would pick a top (fourth) floor room next time, though, if possible.

Location is great, and the staff and amenities are fantastic. Well greeted by the front clerk, and was promptly thanked for being a Hilton Honors Gold member. I have not been traveling as much as of late, so my membership dropped to gold and was concerned I would not be as appreciated when I was a diamond member. However this was quickly quash, and was pleasantly greeted and taking care of by the staff. The morning breakfast was good and plentiful and great selection of items. The room was very nice, and the internet was very good. I highly recommend this hotel.

My wife and I recently spent four nights at the Hampton Inn in Waterbury. From check-in to check-out it was an extremely pleasant stay. The delicious complimentary breakfast in the morning was the perfect way to begin our busy days of visiting friends and family. Upon returning in the evening we were always greeted by smiling faces. The rooms were clean and always quiet in the wee hours, which provided a restful sleep. Special thanks to Front Desk representatives Regina and Parris who went above and beyond in treating us so warmly. Thanks again and we look forward to visiting soon.

Adam at the front desk was an expert at customer service. Not only did he make us feel welcomed, but his customer service skills were excellent and on point. The pool was clean and overall very nice for the kids. The breakfast was good and the lady at the breakfast station was very helpful. Overall very helpful and friendly staff. Amanda at checkout was very friendly and helpful. Overall very positive experience.

I booked this hotel for my mom and my brother. I booked the 2 rooms over the app so was able to pick the location of the rooms and get a digital key for both rooms. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The hotels was kept clean- even though it looked like a full house- and there was not a long wait at reception when I was checking in. There was a slight misunderstanding at reception regarding getting physical keys to the rooms. The issue was corrected and got both keys. Throughout our interaction the staff member was very polite and patient. Overall a good stay and great value for the price. The only thing I would recommend is either cutting some of the shrubbery by the sign indicating the entrance off the street or getting a larger lit sign to make the entrance more visible. At night, the entrance was easy to miss.

It’s always a great experience staying at the Hampton Inn. The rooms have always been clean and fresh. The customer service is always stellar and accommodating.

Digital keys could not be used. A/C did not work well in room. $5 a load in guest laundry, and had to drive to a bank to get rolls of quarters to feed the machines. No snack bar, so plan on driving to find some. Poor cleanup at breakfast. No non-stick spray available for waffle maker.

This stay was a nightmare from The bathroom being not clean I has to clean the bathroom myself. Has to use my products the clean the bathroom before we could brush our teeth or shower terrible . Not to mention I drove 8 hours and after I checked in and attended my event I just wanted to go to sleep couldn’t sleep due to loud music which vibrates the floor from 7:30 pm to like 12am horrible stay me nor my kids couldn’t sleep worst experience ever . I called front desk they told me well they paid for that room below me that they rented asked them why rent a room above knowing that loud music would be being played. She told me she didn’t know crazy rate this place negative 0

Check-in was pleasant. Had to change rooms a couple of times due to smell, but the person at the front was wonderful and accommodating. The hotel was overall nice and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. I posted some photos of what needs to be fixed in the room. I was in room 103. There was some damage in the bathroom, and the smoke detector looked... tampered with. The shower gel and products in the shower are very very lovely. The breakfast was bountiful, and I do appreciate the water and coffee availability 24 hours. There was a bit of neglect to breakfast on Saturday. Some things were empty, and I had to ask for more, which was fine. However, the people running breakfast seem to be distracted by chatting to each other vs. Making sure things are filled. There is one woman who does breakfast who is extremely rude. Tall. Skinny women with acne scars. At first, I thought she didn't speak English because of the blank stare she gave when I asked for things. But no, she speaks e glish perfectly fine. She just likes to stare at you like you're a moron for asking for a banana or coffee creamer. Which is uncomfortable. The building was quiet overall. I think it's a bit ridiculous to charge over $500 for three nights and have room service on call. I don't mind personally, but do take into consideration the hotel is full price for discount services.

This is what a hotel should be! Hampton Inn never disappoints us. Beautiful, modern, clean, spotless, comfortable beds, super clean bathrooms, and great breakfast choices. All across the board, Hampton Inn keeps its high standards. We enjoyed our stay at the Waterbury location. Don't hesitate to make your reservation here. Rest well and be assured you are getting a high quality stay.

So I paid the highest rate I have ever paid for a Hampton inn to stay here and probably was my lowest quality stay. Pro - Lobby is gorgeous and clean , however my room just had a slight funk to it. Con - Just lots of little things with the room loose lights in the walls , lack of towels and just didn’t feel clean. The worse was a group of teenagers running up a down the halls screaming at 10pm. When I called about when quiet hours were I was told “oh there is a large soccer team here” like it was perfectly fine, even though many of us were also there for an open water meet and had be out the door at 5:30 am to check in at 6am. So that was very annoying. For the price I paid for the room I was sorely disappointed in the value I received. I would not recommend this particular location as it just doesn’t seem to be up to par with Hilton Standards.

breakfast is almost entirely high carb, exception being the omelette and sausage. swimming is limited to 45 minutes and only 6 people at a time. there is a hidden black out curtain behind the sheer curtains, which, once pulled, gives you a perfectly dark sleep. beds are both soft and firm, and they give you two pillow options of squishy or fluffy. nice TV, internet not fast enough for fortnite but it streams movies flawlessly. convenient mini fridge that can hold a medium pizza box. ironing board and hair dryer supplied in the room. nice art on the walls as well as pictures next to the door to help you remember your room number. all in all, a great hotel for a great price. staff is super friendly, ice machine works, and this location is close to almost everything of interest.
