My
experience
at
Waterbury
Hospital
Telemetry
Unit
was
5
star.
The
nurses
were
very
knowledgeable,
caring
and
compassionate.
Their
degree
of
knowledge
in
cardiac
issues
was
exceptional.
The
personal
care
assistants
surprised
me
with
their
level
of
cardiac
knowledge
and
their
caring
and
friendly
attitude.
There
were
so
many
wonderful
nurses
that
cared
for
me,
but
one
nurse
stands
out.
Knowing
how
sensitive
I
was
to
perfumes,
Vanessa
went
by
my
room
and
noted
that
my
room
mate
had
a
visitor
who
was
wearing
very
strong
perfume.
Vanessa
had
me
put
my
mask
on
and
took
me
to
the
family
waiting
room
which
was
empty
at
the
time.
There
I
read
my
book
until
after
visiting
hours.
That
spared
me
a
potential
asthmatic
attach.
That
is
over
and
above
a
nursing
duty.
That
is
the
type
of
conscientious
care
I
received
from
everyone
there.
The
medical
Doctor
on
the
telemetry
unit,
Dr
Patel,
was
very
attentive
and
explained
my
plan
of
care
and
discharge
plan.
My
discharge
was
very
smooth
and
timely.
My
Cardiologist,
Dr
Johnghar,
visited
frequently
and
explained
all
procedures
and
changes
in
my
plan
of
care.
Waterbury
Hospital
should
be
very
proud
of
the
caliber
of
care
given
by
the
telemetry
unit.
