Very bad experience. I would not recommend. New management and they allow the employees to do whatever they want to the customers. They humiliate you, they discriminate against you, and you can't defend yourself, because the employees can do whatever they want to you. It was the most judgmental place, and the worst Planet Fitness. If they look down on you, they just cancel you as a customer, and they allow the employees to say whatever they want to you, and you have to put up with it. They degrade the customers that they look down on. Even the manager said it would have been an uncomfortable situation that no customer would want to come back. She should have addressed the employees, but instead she turned on the customer, and defended the employees. They should have been fired, and they broke the policies, but they are allowed. I said I was offended, and they said they were allowed to offend me. They lie about customers. No respect was given for me.

if you want to be charged $1000+ after you cancel your membership this is the place to go!! A staff member messed up and they will not take responsibility for it. Jeremey and Kaylee are the most terrible people we’ve ever had to deal with. I don’t understand how a business can possibly be ran with this kind of Management. Horrible behavior, horrible service and horrible communication. Do better!!!!!

Ask for the manager turned down the heatbecause people were complaining too hot including myself my breathing too heavy people at desk said they didn't know how to get ahold of the manager which is lie. It is 75 F right now which is too hot. I'm sure I will get the standard manager corporation reply that we try but what you need to do is turn down the heat to 72F. I have been coming here for years and this is first time I had trble breathing during my work out and the heat being too high. I am n59 years old and would think that would rate a real answer and solution other than a corporate mission statement reply from management

Clean and new equipment. I was excited to get the equipment here, but I don't think they are calibrated correctly. When I went from the old equipment to the new equipment, I noticed the weights changed by a lot. The new machines at other PF facilities were the same or much closer to the old machines. They are more difficult to use now.

My PF club has so many awesome amenities and a great staff. It’s a really comfortable and friendly environment that feels like a spa day on top of a good work out. Any issues that come up, the staff takes care of and treats me like a friend. It’s hard to believe you get everything they have to offer at such a great price.

This is a solid gym for everyone except more serious weight lifters. Plenty of exercise and aerobic machines, with massage chairs and tanning available. Basic amenities like lockers and showers are available as well, and while there are no premium amenities, this is reflected in the price which is far more affordable than gyms that provide more amenities. Biggest drawbacks are that there are no free weight barbells, and the dumbbells max out at only 60 lbs. However, this gym is more than suitable for the average gym-goer or anyone just looking to stay fit or lose a few pounds, and I don't know of any gym that will beat the price.

Of all the planet fitnesses I had gone to over the last 3 years this was probably the location to make me switch to a decent gym. Whoever the guys on the morning staff that come at night had a staring problem and tend to just sit around and do nothing besides babble with their friends. Totally not worth coming here, at least with who works here

Clean and convenient! Manager on staff is friendly and makes checking in a nice personable experience. They have everything you need to get a great workout in. I wish the dumbbells went a little higher and wish they would add an extra Smith machine or two, but overall 5 stars!

Damiana always calls me by name when I come in very friendly and help me through my membership. I struggled with the app and she was able to walk me through some of the difficulties that I was having Jeremy in the staff always keep the place clean and very friendly, and the nonjudgmental place to work out I would recommend planet fitness to my friends and family.

Place is cheap to work out but the amenities are not that great. I brought a friend in on a day pass twice before with no problem, came in this week and was told that they needed to download the app to get a day pass. I was told it was new management and has always been police but this was not the process the first two time. Also can we get paper towel dispenser in the men's locker room. We are all adults and know how to use them properly.

I've been a PF member since about 2009 and still love it! It's just so simple. Great location. Affordable. It's not too busy. Friendly staff. The ability to cancel and re-join as needed, with very little hassle. LOVE THE TOTAL BODY machine! Such a huge perk to the Black Card Membership!

A big gym location in Waterford they have a ton of treadmills available in each room. The weight area is another big and useful area. Lockerrooms are big and have a ton of lockers available. Showers and toilets are also available. For the price it's definitely a good spot to work out. Not sure if they still do free pizza anymore.

This location is always clean and very well run. Outstanding staff, friendly and helpful. My husband and I feel very comfortable working out here.

Great place to begin your workout journey, biggest downside is lack of free Barbell Bench weights, but you get used to the smith Machines instead. Great Staff here.

i have never had a problem with this location, until today. i’ve been going here for a little over 5 months and when i walked in they had said i needed a consent form from me. i understand completely why they need one although, it has never been mentioned to me before that needed one. i asked what i could do, to work out for today because i was already there and did not want to go back. the women in the front, her name was Abby had said that i could use my drivers license just for today and bring the consent next time i come. when i showed her my license she did not bother too even look at it and then continued to say i can’t workout. i’m honestly just irritated, she wasted my time and made it a bigger deal then it had to be.

When I walked in for the first time I was greeted by Anita Hosseini and Chloe Resch. They are kind and professional. They walked me through everything with patience. What a breath of fresh air. And everything is clean. So glad I chose this Planet Fitness . .

I just got my first gym membership ever. The morning staff don't do anything but stand there talking they couldn't show me around the gym it explain anything. I got the membership and was left to figure out where everything is, it was uncomfortable. The tanning beds and stand up are dirty. I know you clean before and after yourself but the staff should at least check on it and make sure it's not dirty like that.

Update: been working out here for a few months now. Still love it! Had to go to another planet fitness during the power outage and it was good enough but this place just feels like home turf! Lots of strength, cardio, and core equipment. Both machines and body weight workouts available. Staff is great and the place is usually pretty clean. It's open and staffed 24/7 honestly whichever membership you get is worth it. You aren't gonna find a better place to work out in Waterford.

This Waterford location of Planet Fitness is great. Not just because it is my "home" gym, but I have been to other locations and still partial to this one. Granted it is an older gym but they do a great job of keeping extremely clean and everything up to date. But, what I really like... Staff. They are very genuine it seems to welcome you, helping anyway possible, and they even go out of their way to make guests feel like actual members. The ONLY negative I have: Parking lot. Not in best shape, but has been improved - and it is crowded often in the lot; not at any fault of PF, simply because it is located in a busy shopping center.

Love the work out here, always plenty of room to use all equipment I need, you truly can't beat this deal. They have it all, showers, awesome tanning beds with no wait and the best tan, even extra perks like discounts and all for your monthly membership payment and get this...who likes to workout alone right? You can even bring a free guest! 5 stars u just can't beat this deal!

I love the club in Waterford. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The club is always on tip top shape (immaculate). I do recommend this club. I'm a black card and have been for years. This club is the cleanest of all I've been to.

My 2nd home. I chose this location over Waterford because it’s more of a forgiving atmosphere. You see a bunch of meat heads in here. This location also has regular faucets so it’s easier to shave my face. Most other p-fits have those auto faucets with the sensor that detects your hands and it makes it a challenge to shave.

I have been going to this location for a long time. Since they were down the road were they first opened. For the most part,awesome. With the yonder high school members. They can use the planet for free. Again very cool. However they don't clean, or put the equipment back on the rack!

I love working out at Waterford planet fitness I am always treated so kind and the workers are always so helpful showing me how to use certain machines (Sam) it really means everything to me I have scoliosis and other really painful things with my body but I’m so thankful that I’m greeted with such encouragement that I feel the strength to keep trying my hardest living my best life ❤️🙏🙌

Planet Fitness in Waterford is a great place to workout. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Gabe, the trainer, listens to the client and adjusts the workout accordingly. The gym is very clean.

It's clean, calm and nonjudgmental. The employees are pleasant and helpful. I always thought some low music would be nice.

Treadmills are nicer than GLC. They have fans in them which is nice. Not giving five stars due to a few reasons. 1. Missing core workout machines available at GLC. 2. Men's Locker Room is substantially smaller and kind of a open forum type of deal. you enter the room and it's a big square with lockers on the walls. Where GLC location offers a bit more privacy with it's size. Not a deal breaker, but likely off-putting to people wanting to start experiencing gym lifestyle. Final points: Solid gym, lots of machines you can workout on, super friendly staff.

Waterford is a great PF. Very clean and new high end equipment. I have been a member for 13 years.

I have been a Planet Fitness member for years. But, it was not until I had diabetes that I really took control of my weight and body. Planet Fitness has been there every step of the way. They have positive attitudes and with managers like, Jeremy, it makes working out and returning easier. Since late July of 2023. I have lost over 80lbs and part of that was due to Planet Fitness and the workers that encourage me to continue my journey.
