The 4.8 rating of this Italian restaurant isn't an exaggeration. It was really, really good. I would go as far as declare this as the best Italian place in Ireland. I'm just so glad to know that if I'm in need of some real, satisfying grub, it's just less than an hour's drive from Clonmel. I'm excited to try the other stuff in the menu, I wish I had more than one stomach to fit in all that good food. And I fell in love at first sip with their moscato that I asked the owner to sell me a bottle to drink home. 🤣

Didnt meet my expectations dont understand the hype and the 5 star reviews here, food is very basic nothing to brag about very small inside tables to close to each other no privacy. Very expensive for small portions i felt and owner was rude to me with hes bad jokes and insults, trying to be funny i was not impressed with him.

Wow - one of the best meals I have ever had! Each bite made me happier and happier! The wait staff was so friendly and helpful. Prices were very reasonable too. We’re visiting from the United States and I wish Emiliano’s was local for us, so that I could recommend it to everyone we know! We had the garlic bread pizza and meatballs to start. The lasagna and ravioli in mushroom cream sauce for our main course. Then finally ended with the cannolis for dessert. Just an all around incredible experience!

This restaurant is a gem. Booked for my mum's birthday and we were so happy! My mushroom ravioli with hazelnuts was to die for! Pizza is also so good and you can never go wrong with a seafood pasta. Tiramisù is a big portion, definitely to share. The ice cream is actually so delicious! Tastes so authentic and is so flavourful. My mum got a surprise candle with her dessert and all waiters gathered around the table to sing her happy birthday. Thank you Emiliano's for such a wonderful dinner 😊🎉 P. S. Definitely try the cocktails, especially strawberry daiquiri and mohito. Not too strong but will go so well with the food.

We went with friends to Emiliano's Restaurant in Waterford for my birthday. Table booked with a Happy Birthday banner. Very warm welcome by Emiliano himself. Excellent and very fine meal with Italian specialities. The staff, who are partly Italian, are very friendly and always take care of their customers. We will be back very soon.

Absolutely the Best Italian restaurant in town, it's not just food, it is an experience. Very busy restaurant, try to book in advance. Sunday on lunch time you may get a table easily. As always everything was absolutely amazingly delicious. 🥰

Had Arancini as a starter. Could do with more flavor, bit bland. The Filet Steak for main was very good. Overall good Service and nice food. Certainly one of the few good restaurants in Waterford.

This is one of Ireland's better Italian restaurants, if not the best, staff very friendly and very knowledgeable about the food and the wine. The pizzas alone are worth coming for if not anything else.

Been a few years since we were there but the food is still as amazing as always, each of our plates were completely polished from starters to mains. Service is perfect as always. The melted goats cheese starter is indescribable. The linguine prawn main course was wow! May look slightly small portioned but definitely not and just the right amount. 😉 Highly recommend. One of the best in Waterford and definitely the best real Italian.

A fantastic taste of Italy right here in Ireland. Wonderful food served by attentive yet unobtrusive staff at a very reasonable price. We are going to be regular visitors to this wonderful restaurant even though it is 165km from home. It really is that good.

I have travelled all over Ireland in the past week and this was my best meal and reasonably priced.

Got mushroom pasta, seafood pasta, and scallops today to take away. Everything was delicious, the mushroom pasta sauce is ❤️❤️❤️. I'm a big fan of mushrooms, believe me this one is goood. I'm not very convinced by the meat pieces there, but it doesn't matter. Scallops are great, one tiny note though: the slices of croutons got all mushy as they were put into the sauce inside the container. It would be better to put them separately in a piece of foil or little container. And a very convenient online order and tracking. Ps no carpaccio in the take away menu 🙁

Ducked in here just as the winds and rain started to blow. Who could ask for a more delicious mini-slice of Italy, right here in Waterford?! Life teammate had the meatballs and braciola, I had the lasagna - both were delicious - if tomatoes could slap you with flavor, these do. Definitely get reservations to dine at night.

Highly recommend. We shared the king prawn linguine (amongst other things) - it was superb!! Can see why it is fully booked most of the time! Only thing possibly lacking - is a touch of relaxing music 🎵 outside - but then that’s just my humble opinion.

We had our family meal today at Emilianos to celebrate my son's Holy Communion. I cannot praise the staff here highly enough for their attentiveness to everyone, most especially the children. They were treated to magic tricks which had them spellbound and was so much fun. The food is absolutely incredible we all ate a variety of dishes from the extensive menu and everything was cooked and presented perfectly. This truly is authentic exquisitely executed Italian food and I cannot wait to return. Thank you so much to Emiliano and all of the staff for making my son's and family's day so special and enjoyable!

The meal was simply exquisite, presentation was executed very well and food bursting with flavor. Price wise was very affordable and the atmosphere was comforting. Waiting staff was very friendly and helpful. The whole experience was a 10 out of 10, would gladly recommend Emiliano’s if your looking for a restaurant in Waterford with great food.

This place was more than anyone could ever desire in a restaurant. Food was so good with so many options. Service was so great and everyone was very kind.

Excellent food, drinks and service. I can see why there's a waiting list for a Saturday night. Staff were so attentive. Recommend the Negroni or Expresso Martini to finish off a great meal.

For Ireland it's a pretty good Italian restaurant, probably the best in Waterford. Tried 3 times to book a table, always busy. The service is excellent, so is the location. The restaurant itself is very noisy and you can't really have a proper conversation. The food was very good, not wow if you are Italian or have high expectations to have authentic Italian food. We had linguini and cannelloni, both very good.....for dessert we had Tiramisu...3 months I've been waiting to eat a real Italian tiramisu, my favorite dessert...I had very high expectations from this restaurant and in this country where it's even hard to find mascarpone or ladyfingers....while it was beautifully plated, soft and tasty, the Tiramisu was a big disappointment for me as it wasn't the classic tiramisu made only with mascarpone § egg white...it had Panna montata instead....The ice cream is not gelato.

We were a group of 13 and everyone enjoyed their meal. People were able to order vegetarian or glutten free options. Service was very good, fast and organised. Food was delicious, fresh and hot. Bread for apetizer was real italian, fresh and very tasty. Atmosphere was great, noisy, busy, felt like eating in Italy. Enjoyed it very much, definitely coming back.

Visited the restaurant years ago with my family, an amazing restaurant with great food and nice staff, visited the restaurant again just yesterday and nothing has changed.... we had different kinds of dishes as there was 5 of us including kids so just amazing food and very friendly and kind staff. Favourite italian restaurant on the island. Can't say enough about it really 😍 Just wow. Will be visiting again for sure 😄

Waterford's most popular restaurant never dips in quality or service and entirely deserves its popularity as they work hard each and every day to ensure and maintain their consistent excellence. Covid 19 restrictions are handled by a reduction in number of tables, but the menu stays the same.

Simply amazing.. Authentic, traditional, homemade Italian cuisine perfectly cooked. The decor and setting of the Restaurant captured the essence of Italy 🇮🇹. Staff were all Italian which is a nice touch and they were incredibly attentive. Would recommend to anybody!!!

Excellent and authentic Italian food! The waiters are exceptionally attentive, and will accommodate your dietary needs. They propose a lot of food that is not on their menu in order to accommodate any palate. For example, one of my friends was vegetarian, and the waiter offered a delicious eggplant Parmesan. Moreover, they decorated the place for my friend’s birthday, and brought tiramisu with candles! The atmosphere is cozy, and pleasant. Great place for a get together with friends or a romantic partner.
