This is the best place in Waterford to get food. Everything is fresh and incredibly tasty. Portions are huge. Breakfast is a must have and don't get me started on the desserts. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is in the center. 100% recommend!

Such a fantastic experience here. The atmosphere the welcome the food, the quality is second to none. Peter and his team went above and beyond to ensure that I could have a gluten free breakfast. This is the best gluten free breakfast I've ever had. The price points are brilliant, great value for money. The breakfast and portions are huge. The team here are so helpful, knowledgeable and really care about their customers. Ten out of ten from me. Will definitely be back

We both had the lentil dhal and it was amazingly delicious! Also ridiculously cheap. Lovely service too, we’ll be coming here again

Fabulous array of home cooked food. Cream of tomato soup is to die for. One of the few places serving red cabbage too! Staff were extremely professional and very friendly. Love it.

We had breakfast in the Granary. Lovely selection and really quick service. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Loads of seating inside and out and plenty of it covered. A great spot!

Delighted to host some Canadian friends here at lunchtime this week. A pleasant walk from the train station. Good soup, salads, brown bread, cookies, and nice coffee. Great to sit outside in a pedestrianised street. Friendly staff, proper sanitation and unhurried dining. Fair play to all involved

Had two vegetarian breakfasts and oat flat whites. Really really tasty, and the perfect start to the day. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Great outdoor area set up, and guidelines followed very well throughout.

I have only been here a few times for breakfast and each time the food was lovely and staff very helpful and friendly, great place to eat and plenty of room inside and outside.

Was top in tripadvisor - sad joke. We were visiting and travelled over Waterford to get a great breakfast - better in a trucker's cafe. Omelette square, precooked, tasteless and plasticky. Same with everything else pretty much. Everyone (6 of us) all agreed never to go again.

Lunch was so good it is a reason in and of itself to go to Waterford. We had the homemade veg soup and incredibly good homemade brown bread. Service was friendly and fast, prices were very reasonable, and the food was so good. Our flat white coffees were great too. This restaurant is just one block in from the waterfront and it was the perfect stop to fuel up before seeing the museums. Highly, highly recommend!

An absolutely lovely gem with plenty of indoor seating and a quaint outdoor area. The staff was wonderful and all of the food was stellar. They had options for the pickier palate of my child. Give this place a go. You won't regret it.

I started the Waterford greenway here after getting the train from Dublin. Great Irish breakfast, lots of space and pleasant service.

A huge disappointment. Deserves 0 stars. The lack of coordination was insane, staff were wondering around multiple times and clearly didn't know what to do. Being there just to be there. Similarly with the food, multiple items of others were microwaved despite being warm already. High prices are normality now but here its nearly twice as much for an old, rock hard biscuit. Will never step a foot in there. Not recommend at all.

Only went there for a coffee. Was ok. Atmosphere is something between cafeteria and cafe. For my taste I prefer cafes that have a more cosy atmosphere. Without wearing a jacket its a bit chilly, my hands were cold. 👋

Great food, excellent staff. Also the place is immaculate and I particularly like the wonderful ambient music playing in the background. Probably the best cafe in Waterford City.

A diner’s dream cleverly disguised as a school cafeteria, The Granary features a wide variety of freshly-prepared, small batch dishes, including (over the several days we ate there) ratatouille, chicken spinach remoulade, garlic potatoes, courgette fritters, and pulled pork panini—just a fraction of what was on offer, and all wonderful—on top of which were no fewer than a dozen house-made desserts (we sampled a couple—startlingly good). Available outdoor seating and a welcoming and helpful staff complete the picture. Highly recommended.

Good selection of food, ‘hot’ food can be only warm at times. Staff seem inexperienced no interaction with customers at all. The last 2 times we’ve been here and sat outside, they staff have been pulling chairs from around our table and stacking them.

Fantastic assortment of hot food, breads, sweet treats, granola and yogurts for a "morning of the wedding take away breakfast". All fresh food cooked to order with more than enough for all the wedding party and guests that morning! Amazing service with beautiful food, couldn't recommend Peter and the team highly enough!

Amazing healthy lunch with huge portions (taking the left over come). But most importantly the NICEST and welcoming people. We got greeted immediately and felt really comfortable. Even got tips of things to do in Waterford. Lovely start to the trip :)

Pleasant cafe to have a chat and a coffee, or a breakfast... A little outside the main square, but worth a visit 👍
