Best pub in Waterford. Great selection of draft beers, liquors, and delicious Guinness. Barry really cares about the place and his customers. Recommend to anyone from any walk of life.

It's a quintessential old world Irish pub with great pints, one of the best ranges of spirts, and the best bar staff in the city. A true Waterford treasure and must see.

We fell across this little gem on a visit to Waterford. Darren was very polite, helpful and gave us guidance on where to visit plus the history of the property. Great pint of Guiness too. If we do return to Waterford then we'll definately visit again. Keep up the good work Darren 👍

Lovely traditional Irish pub. Lacking in drink options but no big problem with that. The female behind the bar serving me was curt and unhelpful. The rest of the staff seemed friendly. Even when I returned our glasses to the bar, not a thanks or a goodbye, she just ignored me. I won't be back.

Cosy and and a wonderful old world feeling. Not the biggest place. Charming with an ambiance not easily found anymore. So quaint like something from a John B. Keane play. For such an establishment, very happy with the wine being served. So many places think we all drink beer. Terrific selection of spirits. Wonderful Bartender. (Ask him about Australia.) Also not easily found anymore. Knows one or two things about service. Guess what no TV. blaring or piped music. The place to go for a real experience. There is a outside spot to the side of the building if you want to step outside for a moment. Enjoy.

Best pint of Guinness in Waterford. Ideal place for comfort and a lovely chat. Colm the barman is the greatest. Told us everything we needed to know about Waterford but more importantly recommended us on our drinks. Would definitely come back!

Great pint of Guinness, great atmosphere, a pub that you can actually sit and have a conversation in as there's no unnecessary music or tv blaring.

Great atmosphere, an owner who really cares about his business, and fantastic drinks. Decent whisky selection, beer in tankards, and a few different areas to sit. The decor is absolutely amazing, the owner took care to restore the original space.

A beautiful little pub in the heart of Waterford city. Cozy with a fantastic personal atmosphere it's like stepping back in time a little when you walk in. The staff are absolutely fantastic (John gave us a great run through of all the gin they have on offer!) and always helpful. It also happens to be my favourite pint of Guinness in Ireland!

Came across this charming place 2 nights ago. Greeted by the friendliest barman who never told us his name who made us feel so welcome with friendly banter. This has been our best night in Ireland and although the barman mentioned he was leaving the bar we recommend this establishment for an authentic Irish experience with friendly locals also willing to have a chat! Regards the Aussies

WOW. Best Guinness on the planet. I did not like Guinness prior to having it here—sincerely. This place is great for both a quick drink and a long night. The staff is wonderful, the drinks are perfect, and it’s situated nicely for small groups to socialize. It’s top of our list to visit when we return to Ireland!

Lovely little pub that was a grocery store/pub. They’ve done a wonderful job preserving old taps and fixtures. Service was top notch and great whiskey selection.

An experience drinking in the bar itself, not to be missed. Some of the best Guinness in Waterford, and good selection of bar snacks (crisps, chocolate etc.) Helpful and friendly staff

Honest to god, best little bar we came across, so happy we found it, our new favourite bar by far in Waterford! The barman, Luke, was honestly such good craic and completely made our visit 😊 We will be back for certain! ❤

The Irish pub was an amazing find, and our bartender Claire was the heart and soul of the place. The atmosphere and service made the evening feel like a casual get together among friends. The bartender had some great recommendations which added that extra touch to the night. Couldn't recommend the place more to anyone looking for a quiet cosy night.

If you like Guinness then you won't be disappointed with this establishment. However the choice of other drinks is quite limited so it's Guinness or Guinness. The bar lady seemed very off with us, not sure if she was having a particularly bad day but I found her so distant, aloof, cold and totally not engaging with customers. It's like she just didn't want to be there. A smile costs nothing but we failed to get one :-(

We just went to J&K Walsh. What a great spot. We felt like travelling back in time... . The 2 men behind the bar were without doubt the nicest bar men we ever met. They were so warm, welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. This place will be high on our list the next time we visit waterford...
