They have one with code to open. Clean and enough place for everyone. Takeaway. Yes, it is. Fresh bread. You could drink your coffee outside or inside. Outside is a few tables with chair's but be careful it's loud 🔊 because near the road. Tables and chairs inside. Tables are lovely with small different ceramic pieces. What a delightful little cafe/bistro I had THE BEST foccacia (excuse spelling) ever. So light and full of delicious flavour. I then got a taste of country bread which I purchased to take home. Great food, great price point.

Had a coffee here today with my daughter and a visiting friend from Scotland. Had the Trieste Strudel with custard : really tasty, not too heavy and not too sweet. Helpful and friendly service. Nice place to drop into and good cooked produce. Coffee in decent sized mugs were just what the doctor ordered on a cold January day.

Came in for a take away coffee there was one man in que ahead of me so I went to use the bathroom first and was then humilitated by the woman behind the counter shouting at me several times through the cafe until she had everyone in the cafes attention that the toilets were for customers only!! Keep in mind I am clearly 8 months pregnant and work in a cafe myself so I know this toilet rule! I said to her I was going to order after using the toilet and she rolled her eyes and said okay! I’m sure the food is nice here and the take away coffee was okay but never again will I return to a place with such rude staff.

The Apple strudel is actually made here, reminds me of my time in Austria. It’s impossible to find a fresh Strudel in Ireland. Possibly the best Strudel i have had in my life.

Friendly staff with very tasty products. So enjoyed the soft sourdough bread with bacon and eggs and desert was a coconut volcano style cake. Enjoyed so much I took my girlfriend there the next day.

I ate here at lunchtime today. I had the meatball focaccia and the sausage roll. Food was lovely - fresh and tasty. Pleasant staff. Its not very spacious, therefore they don't have a huge amount of seating, so may not be a great dine-in option for larger groups. I would definitely recommend it as the food is great and has a real authentic Italian flavor.

I decided to visit berkana bakery today for my lunch. I ordered the turkey sandwich it did not disappoint. It was easily the best sandwhich I ever had. The ladies that served me were so kind and helpful which really adds to the experience. The lady told me the bread is baked daily it explains how fresh the food is. She also gave me a yogurt pastry treat free of charge 😋 👌 I will be back and I recommend everyone to go here!!!! Daniel

A cozy and truly authentic Italian place where food is absolutely top-notch. Most impressive is the attention to detail and presentation of the food. Panini were stunning, with homemade bread and fresh ingredients. Cannoli are stupendous and the owner of the place is a lovely beautiful person whom is a pleasure to chat with. Can't recommend it enough!

Had a chicken baguette and latte. The baguette was huge and well filled. Very nice food and great service

This is a truly genuine Italian place!!! Food is unbelievable amazing, ingredients are so fresh and staff is super friendly. All is baked and cook everyday, I felt like If I was in Italy :) The pizzas and focaccia taste so different from the ones you buy in the regular shops and they also sell the tastiest cannoli!!! Definitely will be back everytime I go to Waterford. They also have tables and chairs to eat outside :)

A true gem on the quays in Waterford. Not only are the bread and pastries so tasty, but I can vouch that the hot chocolate is delicious. Slowly working my way through the sandwiches on offer, but the hot sausage one is highly recommended
