We ended up stopping here twice. The atmosphere is great. Both lunch and dinner were excellent.

Fantastic food. We had prawns, chicken wings and garlic mushrooms for starters amazing. And then cannelloni and ragu for main. Portion sizes were great. Service is fantastic. Everyone is so lovely. Decor is great. We all agreed we will be back. No faults what so ever

Absolutely fabulous meal! Some of the best wings in Chicken Wing land, and absolutely fabulous Lamb Shanks. Rachel, Claudio and all the team are so welcoming and attentive. Highly recommended.

Really great meal here. Hadn't been there in quite a while but will be back as soon as we can. Chose garlic mushrooms, the beef burger and a really lovely ice cream with coffee and amaretto dessert......A1

Absolutely amazing food the staff are so professional and just make the experience extra special. The chef is a master of food. I would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.

Lovely food but unfortunately staff were not friendly. Got no welcome or smile when we arrived. It costs nothing to smile.

Highly recommend 😊 Have not been to Espresso for a few years. Six of us went tonight and it was stunning. The decor is beautiful, so relaxing. To food was absolutely outstanding super tasty, Prawns , mussels , pizzas , burgers, just amazing. The service was also outstanding so friendly happy and could not do enough for you. Will definitely not be leaving the next visit so long.

Food was excellent, staff very approachable, and friendly, and lovely atmosphere in the restaurant.

Good, but not great Italian. Pasta choices were creative. Most had a twist, but some of the choices didn't really come together. Well executed tradition Italian is better than mediocre creativity. Service was a bit off. We usually had to prompt them for service.

Great, cool place to enjoy pasta & a glass of wine. Service terrific. Very reasonable priced.

The pizza was crispy and delicious. The cappuccino was frothy and had a lovely chocolate like bitterness. The tiramasu was divine! Forget those snooty places on the quay and come here instead!

Great food at adorable prices and nice atmosphere

Have been a few times to espresso it’s been hit or miss, some dishes taste great others like carbonara quiet bland . Main issue with espresso was have had prawn pil pil twice in there one as a starter and the second time I asked for a main version of it I got the same amount of prawns in the starter as the main just a bigger bowl covered in green leaves 9€ vs 18€ Disgusted

We had a family reunion there that night with family we hadn't seen in years. Wonderful experience and great food! We are from New York and we know good Italian food!!

Slightly over priced for the quality on offer but make up for it on service , staff attentive and friendly. Took us without a booking on a busy Friday evening which was very welcome.. very good, friendly staff. Thank you very much 😊

Fantastic restaurant. Food is always delicious and the staff are all lovely. l would highly recommend this restaurant to everybody. Well worth the visit.

The brownie and peanut butter ice cream is the absolute best I’ve ever had. Beyond that, all of the pasta dishes were so, so delicious. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Waterford

Worst Italian I’ve ever experienced.

Should have checked the before photo can't really see how amazing the food looked. I'll get a better picture next time. I didn't have to wait long for a table. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The food was epic. Great vegetarian selection. I would have liked it if garlic bread was inclusive in the meal to mop up the lovely sauce. I look forward to trying the pizza next time. 5 stars for good food, good service, at a good price.
