Passing through Iowa this place seem to get great reviews and it didn’t disappoint. The service was great and the portions were awesome! The food was also tasty and our waitress was amazing. She always seem to come around with coffee. We did go very early and got a seat right away but it did look to get busy so come early! Very classic diner feel and experience thank you

The pancake, oh the pancake. On our way to start Ragbrai in Sioux Falls we stopped in for breakfast. Did not disappoint. Get the pancake!

Morg's offers a friendly welcome, and a variety of breakfast and lunch options for the diner. I had the Chicken and Noodles for lunch accompanied by their delicious pea salad and potato salad. The lunch was very delicious and very hearty! The service was extremely friendly, and it was a wonderful experience. It reminded me of a diner we frequent at home! Thank you for the terrific service and meal! Give Morg's a try if you're in the Waterloo area!!

Expect a wait as tables are limited and the cooking space is small. With that said, breakfast is more than worth the wait! It was so good and the staff was great. Will definitely be back.

Great little place that serves really good food! We went to Morg's for breakfast after we had an appointment in Waterloo. When we arrived, we were a bit surprised that there was a wait to get seated. But decided it must be a sign that the food was worth the wait. Once seated, we again were surprised that the prices seemed higher than expected. But since we don't go out to eat as often as we used to, we ignored the prices and ordered. I had the corned beef hash and eggs while my wife got a pecan pancake with the intent that we'd share everything. The hash was really tasty and the portions were generous. The pancake was gigantic! I know it was just a pancake. But I'll be darned if it wasn't the best pancake ever! The coffee was included in the price of breakfast and was delicious as well. Definitely not a place to pop in when you're pressed for time. But if you want a good, old fashioned diner breakfast, Morg's is the place to go!

More food than any human that walks this earth can handle. Prices are high for a diner but understandable based on space and # of table turns. I will be returning 💯 and will try to eat "A" pancake. I accept the challenge.

I was introduced to this place by a buddy of mine from work 6 months ago, been going here past few 2 months. Love the wonderful people who prepare and serve food, and the food itself is always delicious. Can't wait to bring in a few more of my buddies from work. Also want to say thank to the "angel" who'd paid for my food last week.

Great place to grab a bite. Classic diner style. Very quick once seated.always seems to be busy, but usually get in pretty quick. Anytime I have friends or family in town we go here to eat and they are always very happy we did. Really good pricing for what you get.

Came to Morg’s at 6:15 am on 9/3 and it was already lively and welcoming. We ordered the country omelette with cheesy hash browns, 2 eggs over easy with cheesy onion hash browns, extra crispy, and one cake. Everything was cooked exactly how we wanted it, the food was incredible and the serving sizes were HUGE. The pancake was amazing, so flavorful and fluffy and the warm maple syrup was amazing. The butter melted into it and the syrup complimented it so well. The service was amazing and the atmosphere there is so fun and retro. I will always try to get to Morg’s every time I come through town.

Everyone already knows. Everything you order is huge portions and delicious. The tenderloin is meaty, not that mushed up minced nonsense. Pecan pancake is my fave. I'm on fatty status and I can only eat 1/3 tops. I gave the atmosphere a 4 because I'm not a fan of noise and high traffic smaller spaces. The staff are always super friendly. Totally worth it. Never been disappointed no matter what I order.
