My son and I were next door on Sunday to see a wonderful play at the Opera house. During intermission we went next door to the Weaver Hotel and we were given a tour. My son and I enjoyed the great peanut butter cookies, hospitality and seeing the beautiful rooms, quilts, and the hotel. It is worth going to. :)

Trains transporting turkeys, orphans, and German POWs. A curious bullet hole from a long past bank robbery through the dining room window. These are just a few of the things tied into the rich history this beautiful hotel. Clean, comfortable rooms at great prices and delicious breakfast. Get the biscuits and gravy. The wonderful volunteers that care for the place are very friendly, helpful and have extensive knowledge of the hotels history and the railroad that once served it. There are plenty of amazing photos and artifacts throughout the hotel as well. Would highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to visit again.

We had a large group luncheon at the Weaver. The hotel has been renovated to its former glory. The dining room has lots of interesting memorabilia on the dining room walls. One of the windows has a bullet hole in it-the remnant of a long-ago bank robbery. The food was excellent-hats off to the chef. The service was excellent. After lunch we took a tour of the rest of the restored hotel and spent time in their gift shop.

Unique old hotel on the National Register being run as a bed-and-breakfast. Call ahead and you might be able to have a meal there prepared by their outstanding chef. Rooms are furnished in period decor donated from private collections. Very reasonable rates. Well worth the experience.

Very clean, totally renovated. Beautiful antique furniture. Cozy comfortable beds and rooms. Friendly staff. Had the entire building to ourselves. Quiet! Looking forward to breakfast in am. The manager and volunteers do a wonderful job. This town has pride in their history and have preserved alot of it. Kodos to them. Great little place to step back in history and relax in peace and quiet. So many little towns tear all the old buildings down and didn't give a hoot about the history or preserving it. Like the town I live in. Thank God some ladies did make a museum in one of our last remaining buildings.

The rooms and the hotel in general are nice and so is the staff. They worked with me many times on finding me rooms over a few weeks. The only negative I can say is the mattress in both suites was awful. Other than that it was lovely.

I had a wonderful time! The staff was extremely nice, my room (#8) was clean and quaint with a very comfortable bed, and the breakfast sandwich in the morning was a nice touch. I enjoyed the quiet, small town tucked in next to the historic railroad line. There is no food in Waterville, so plan ahead.
