A bit confused why this restaurant has such raving reviews! The restaurant is inside a pub, so it’s very noisy and can barely hear what the person next to you is saying. Definitely didn’t have a nice, relaxing, enjoyable meal with people screaming and shouting. The decor is BAD, the place looks really run down and very basic. They take payment before you eat and you have to leave the restaurant through a fire exit backdoor which comes out by the trash. Portions are good but for the food quality I would expect to pay around £5/6 per dish not £10. The meat was chewy and the sauce left a bitter after taste. Really disappointed!

Great Thai food , quick service and excellent value for money

MrTings operates as a separate business within Nascot Arms pub and is a Thai restaurant. It was closed for sometime but is back up and running. I think it's with new management but the food quality and quantity is still the same. Spicy duck is my absolute favourite whenever I eat here. They offer sticky rice separately to the main dish. They also offer takeaway and it is reasonably priced. Highly recommend visiting this local gem. Off street parking is a little difficult to find but it's not far from nearby parking facilities if you need it (Sutton parking is where I had parked)

Mr Tings: The service is always hit and miss here but the food is always so good! I recommend this place for food especially the Thai green curry and the prawn toast. It’s also super cosy and warm (unfortunately I have to deduct a star because the service is not consistently good).

Heard nothing but good things about Nascot Arms and finally managed to get experience it first hand. Wonderful little place hiding behind st Alban road. Its shared with the pub on one side. We had to book in advance and it's no surprise why. Very popular and can get extremely busy. Lucky there was parking not too far from the pub. Staff are fantastic from the moment we entered. Service in general was quick but unhurried. The menu was clean with a great selection of dishes without over doing the choices. Food was stunning and plentiful. Extremely tasty. We had the the pork stirfry, special sea bass and mix veg and some pad thai too. That we packed!. Hands down I fully recommend a dinner at the Nascot Arms!

Really busy pub with a friendly atmosphere. Mr Tings has the best Thai curries. Can't wait for our next visit.

thai places in pubs are rare these days and mr. tings is special with their family run restaurant. their menu is small but food is fantastic (massaman is amazing!), really friendly cute gem. highly recommend!

The pub is a traditional local which means it’s small! Very small, or maybe it’s just because it’s so popular it’s always packed which makes it seem even smaller! Shows football & other sports, service at the bar is fast & efficient. The Thai restaurant is renowned for having delicious food although they now don’t serve prawn crackers 😫 No parking maybe except a few pay & display bays on the roads around if you’re super lucky to get them. A children’s playground directly opposite the pub.

WOW & WEE. I never give 5* as the placecwould have to be pretty incredible. But I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is very comfortable, the staff are amazing. I want to personally thank Joy, Yam & the chef. The women couldn't do enough made us feel very welcome and to top it off the food was soo nice. We will be back 100%. Thank you all.

This place is a little gem. Probably the best Thai food around. Fast, efficient and friendly service. The servers are attentive and helpful. The food is delicious, served quickly and well presented and good sized portions, therefore value for money. Been here several times over several years and I think they've only hot better. I travelled from Aylesbury for this!

Pretty good visit to Mr Ting Thai restaurant which is within the pub itself. Good food fairly priced but the service was excellent. Difficult to park so walk in or get a lift.

A nice little pub with Thai food in the restaurant section, with friendly staff serving you great tasting and well presented food. The restaurant is open from Tuesday to Sunday, serving lunch and dinner and they do takeaways and delivery too in the Watford area. The pub section is cosy and frequented at the weekend by footie fans that is screened on 3 big TV's, showing footie and other popular sports at the same time.

Nascot arms is always a dream! Football amazing atmosphere and then the best Thai restaurant for miles Mr Ting! Will never stop loving this place. The barman that served me tonight was so helpful and knowledgeable on his wines too. Highly highly recommend.

Great place to have a meal and a drink, went just after a normal day at the office with the company. I had the duck and it was really great! We had quite a few drinks and it was a lovely social place! Staff were friendly. Would recommend to have a bite and a drink here.

Excellent Thai restaurant and a pub. Tasty aromatic food served by attentive staff! Red seafood curry was amazing. Hidden spot it Watford pretty close to where I live. Highly recommend if you love Thai.

Nice atmosphere as no loud music. Good choice of ales and beers. Large TV to watch sport. Nice example of what local pub should be. There was a Thai eating place within the establishment but that has now closed. That is the only negative.

One of my favourite locals. Always clean. A grand welcome awaits you with good fresh real ale to choose from. There's wine and snacks. Mr Tings Thai food has stopped doing their food as I speak now which is a shame as I loved it very much so I don't know what is happening with the food menu

I have been frequenting this pub for so long, my hair has fallen out and the landlords has gone grey😀... A superb pub even if it didn't have the Thai, always great ales on... friendly atmosphere and all the top sports. The Thai is an absolute gem, still busy and for good reason. The fact that drinks and food bills are kept separate is also very handy for groups...Go Try👌

Only been here a few times but it is a proper local pub with delighful staff, a good selection of drinks and if you are hungry there is a Thai restaurant attached. The interior has plenty of seating on the cosy side and is also very clean. I have only eaten once at the restaurant and booking may be prudent as it gets very busy. The food was good though I have had better but that was 13 hours away in Thailand.

The pub belies the quality restaurant which is situated inside, it's a hidden gem on the outskirts of Watford! The food was delicious, the only downside was the time taken for service. The food and drinks are served separately and so takes a while for either to be provided, don't get me wrong, I didn't wait forever, it just took longer than expected as two separate sets of waiting staff took different orders. That is the one down point, the food was delicious and hit the spot. The staff were really accommodating and knew their products, so if you are looking for a meal for any occasion, head down, it's delicious!
