An incredibly intimate, yet spacious Theatre in the Watford town centre area. This theatre has a drinks and snacks options available, with a casual seating area. The bathroom facilities is a bit cramped and small but very clean. Staff interaction was to a minimum but very courteous. There is a good range of shows all throughout the year, for all ages. Inside was very ornate and seats were comfortable and spacious, especially for a tall person like me. We came for the first time in May ‘23 for the performance of ‘Happy Birthday Sunita’. The show was very good; it was delightfully funny and highlighted many interesting cultural aspects of the British Indian diaspora. I would definitely be interested in going again and will look out for any new shows.

CINDERELLA PANTO WITH A 90s TWIST Recently attended the enchanting Cinderella Panto at Watford Palace Theatre with my children, and it was an absolute delight! The infusion of a 90s theme added an extra layer of charm to the entire experience. The laughter-inducing moments had my children in stitches, making it a perfect festive treat for both young and old. Despite being in the circle, almost in the back row, our seats provided fantastic views of the entire production. Watford Palace Theatre, hosting Pantos since 1908, truly knows how to create a magical Christmas tradition. The historic venue adds a unique touch to the Christmas season, making it a must-visit for families and theatre enthusiasts alike. The attention to detail in the production, from costumes to set design, was commendable and added to the overall immersive experience. Running from November 30 to December 31, 2023, this Panto is a splendid way to celebrate the festive season. I highly recommend securing your tickets early to ensure you don't miss out on this unforgettable performance. Supporting local theatre has never been more important, and Watford Palace Theatre provides an excellent opportunity to do so while enjoying a festive and heartwarming show. Located at 20 Clarendon Road, Watford, WD17 UZ, the theatre offers tickets ranging from £13 to £38.50, with concessions available. Group discounts make it an ideal outing for friends and family.

First time visiting Watford Palace Theatre and I've lived in the area for 25 years. What a wonderful place. We took the kids to see Beauty and the Beast as this years panto. Great fun. The kids loved it although it was a bit long for them to sit through. I'll be looking out for performances during 2023 as we'll definitely be back again.

We went to see Axel Blake and it was absolutely hilarious. We had such a great time. The Theatre is small but cute. Awesome location just few minutes from a car park (£1/hour) They have 2 bars, one downstairs and one upstairs. You need to go up if you wanna get your drinks quickly, it was a long queue downstairs.

Books seats in the upper circle. Was a good seat but was told that we could move to the Circle If we wanted, so we did. View from both was brilliant and the panto was funny, entertaining and enjoyable for young and old. My favourite part was the audience participation and 'Fanny G' was amazing

**Edit** Another visit on a cooler night. Good show again. Overall stars remain the same. Everything just nice. Forgot on last review to say staff good too** Went to see Susie Dent for an afternoon show on the hottest day in September! Great show. Highly recommend the show. The venue.. lovely old building. Can't fault the atmosphere. Bar area small for the size of the venue. There is another area but it was closed. Absolutely boiling. There was a fan somewhere but not powerful enough to make a massive impact. They have a variety of shows. Well worth a visit

We attended the mission ImpossiBall today, it was amazing 🤩 It is so clever and well put together little plot, interactive and just the right level for kids to feel engaged, challenged and fun! I think the adults had a great time too, I certainly have! It was amazing to visit behind the scene areas of the theatre. Thanks to all the performers to bring this together, we have had a great time!

Went with the school I work at to see Cinderella. The kids loved it. The theatre is quite small but I like that! Staff were fabulous. I would like to go back to see something without 60 kids!!
