We
had
our
wedding
reception
hosted
at
the
Raffles
in
January,
2023,
and
would
like
to
thank
the
Raffles
team
for
the
immense
support
they
gave
us
to
make
our
day
truly
memorable.
We
hosted
the
event
at
their
Sahara
Lounge
which
was
ample
to
comfortably
host
our
small
contingent
of
80
guests.
It’s
a
beautiful
venue
for
a
medium
size
gathering
with
a
good
ambience.
The
venue
was
nice
and
clean.
All
the
staff
at
Raffles
was
very
warm
and
accommodating
and
they
did
their
best
to
help
us
host
a
memorable
wedding.
We
felt
welcomed
from
the
first
moment
we
went
there
and
we
are
truly
grateful
for
their
hospitality.
Our
dedicated
event
manager
from
the
Raffles
team,
Ms.
Nirmali,
was
truly
a
blessing.
She
looked
into
every
aspect
of
the
event
and
kept
us
in
the
loop.
She
was
truly
a
good
example
of
what
Raffles
stands
for,
Excellence!
Nirmali
helped
us
with
the
event
co-ordination,
floor
planning
and
even
hosted
us
a
complimentary
food
tasting
where
we
got
a
first-hand
experience
on
some
of
the
food
we
were
going
to
serve.
This
also
gave
us
the
opportunity
have
a
one-to-one
with
their
Exec-Chef,
Mr.
Sugath,
who
helped
us
to
finalize
our
event
menu.
The
cherry
on
the
cake
is
their
amazing
food,
which
is
second
to
none
at
any
5
Star
hotel
in
Sri
Lanka.
It
was
truly
delicious
and
all
the
guests
complimented
on
the
mouth-watering
spread
they
had
prepared
for
us.
Sugath
and
his
team
deserves
a
Michelin
Star
for
the
food
they
serve
there.
A
special
vote
of
thanks
goes
to
Mr.
Mohan,
Nirmali,
Exec-Chef
Sugath,
Chef
Chaminda,
AM
F&B
Walikala
who
prepared
the
venue
for
us
with
such
dedication
along
with
his
F&B
staff
Pasindu,
Shiva
&
Dasun.
You
guys
truly
made
our
day
and
we
both
are
very
grateful
to
all
of
you
at
Raffles.
You
all
are
a
credit
to
your
establishment.
Finally,
I
have
no
hesitation
in
recommending
Raffles
to
anyone.
It
is
such
an
amazing
place
to
host
a
gathering
with
none
of
the
headaches
you
get
when
you
go
to
other
big
brands.
