We
came
in
late
on
a
Friday
evening.
We
were
seated
right
away
as
there
weren’t
a
lot
of
people.
Our
waitress
was
very
friendly
and
made
sure
we
were
well
taken
care
of.
The
music
was
a
little
loud
and
a
lot
of
the
beer
options
were
in
cans,
but
it
was
a
nice
space.
The
food
was
really
good.
The
brussel
sprouts
appetizer
was
delicious.
Tart
with
the
bacon
balsamic
vinaigrette,
but
balanced
out
with
the
saltiness
of
the
pork
pieces.
We
split
the
short
rib
grilled
cheese
and
it
was
fantastic.
The
bread
was
crispy
on
the
outside
and
the
meat,
onion
and
cheese
melted
in
your
mouth.
The
touch
of
arugula
was
a
nice
freshness.
It
was
the
first
real
fall
evening,
so
we
got
the
roasted
squash
soup
as
our
side.
Yum.
Creamy
and
delicious.
The
cornbread
croutons
added
such
a
nice
spice
and
the
pepitas
a
nice
little
crunch.
We
don’t
get
out
to
Waukee
much,
but
I
would
come
again
if
I
was
in
the
area.
