Will not be returning. Took over an hour to get food. Wasn't particularly busy when we went. Portions we're pretty small for the price. Food was cold, bland, and somehow both soggy and dry by the time we got it (dry fish, no crisp on the breading). Server was pretty nice when she was around but only saw her once or twice the whole time we were in. Would not recommend

Second visit update. Not as good as I remember and ghosted by the waitress. Food dropped off. No condiments offered, drink empty for my entire meal. Place has a nice atmosphere, very open seating area but was still able to carry a conversation at the table. The burger was very good. Hamburger had good flavor. The onion rings are thick, the fries and sweet potato fries I thought were very plain. The pretzel appetizer was large! It is more like bread or pizza crust. Hard on the outside and like bread inside, not like pretzel dough which I think of as more dense. I'd skip this if you are a pretzel fan. Overall worth a visit

Started off with the fried cheese curds. The Raspberry Jalapeño sauce that came with them complimented them well. Got the Sunny burger, and it was delicious. Our server was great.

I've been here before, but this time, it seemed pretty average at best. Food wasn't that great. It seemed like it might have been sitting in the window a while since it was just above room temperature when I got it. Got the chicken bacon ranch grilled cheese. The cheese didn't even seem melted and the bread was soggy with grease. Also, I got the maple bacon breakfast shake, and that was disappointing. The donut was super dry and the shake was runny. Again, like it had been sitting in the window too long

Great service on a busy Friday night. We were lucky enough to find a seat at the bar and avoided the 20-30 minute table wait. Food was good, we ordered the Chicken Pesto sandwich (loaded with grilled chicken, 2 full pieces) and the Smoke and Fire burger, both excellent! The smoke and fire sauce is amazing! As an added touch when I asked for a recommendation between 2 dishes I was considering I actually got a detailed recommendation on the dish by two different staff members. I truly enjoy when the staff has tried the food that's served at their restaurant and can offer a specific recommendation along with reasoning for each dish.

Excellent service, and awesome food that's indulgent. Very big portions .. so maybe you can share between two, especially the milkshake. The ambiance is that of a brewery.. very large open space.

Excellent lunch options here. The cheese curds and fried pickles were perfectly cooked and the portions are the largest I've seen. The raspberry jalapeno jam is amazing. Thai chicken tacos with peanut sauce were bigger than expected and great taste. The club sandwich was just huge and very good. Very nice visit and we'll be back for sure. One thing was odd, all the TVs were blue. Obviously somebody had gone into the settings and set 'color' or 'tint' to max. Turn that back down, lol it just looks rediculous.

We were here for lunch and to get our pub pass stamped. The patio was pretty full when we were there, but there was plenty of room to dine in. The host and service were prompt. I had the Crushin' On Amber and my wife had the Bulldog Blonde for drinks. We both enjoyed the beers. I had the Spicy Chicky Sammy which I enjoyed. I like some heat and spice, but it was almost a bit too much for me. The Oh No! was the other sandwich that we had. The fries were good especially with the homemade ranch for dipping. We both came away full and would go back.

We ordered to go and the food was magical. With to go orders fries and tots need to be re air fried but can’t help that. Tons of solid options and we were happy with what we ordered. The service was great, prompt and exactly on time with estimated time. We will be back to eat in person to try it fresh fresh. Super nice looking building too.

I had never been here before and had the "Oh No" Burger, Cheese Curds and a Shake. The food was the absolute best! I never thought I'd have curds better than Culver's. My server, Paul was also exceptionally helpful and nice.

Far from “pub grub,” this capital city location of the restaurant that finds another home in Bettendorf offers sundry menu options to please most any palette. The quality of the food is only rivaled by the passion Jerry exudes for ensuring diners enjoy every aspect of the experience.

Ally 10/10 reccomend the right menu items 😋 the Mac burger was so delicious hit all the flavor palettes. Now this lemon blueberry shake is top tier! After one sip I was hooked!!! Great spot in west des moines

We've been here a couple times already. They have great burgers, fries, shakes, and beer selection. You can substitute any burger for grilled or fried chicken for free. They also offer black bean or turkey burgers for an additional charge that are also really good. Service is fast and friendly. Whether you're sitting at the bar or in a booth you're going to have a good time.

This is definitely one of my favourite places to visit as a large group just outside Des Moines. The food is tasty, the atmosphere is lively, the staff is attentive without being overbearing, and appetisers are always big enough to share. I have had a few instances where the food wasn't up-to-sratch for one reason or another, but they always make things right, and I never leave feeling regretful. The burger variety is definitely a highlight.

Decent place. BBQ Brisket taco was good. Cheese curds and Korean Wings are pretty good. Monthly shake came out completely melted, super disappointing. Server was really good to start, then kept forgetting to bring an item we needed.

3rd time here. Service and overall food very good. Good atmosphere. Brisket melt, burger and brownie shake awesome..sweet potato fries unfortunately were cold. So busy we did not send back as sandwich was plenty, but since they charge extra for them especially, they really should be hot. We will return in the future.

We were in the neighborhood and thought we would try something new. Meh, it seems they are trying too hard to standout, but just like Forest Gump came up just under the line. The Honey Habanero wings were cooked well, but I could barely taste any honey let alone any spice whatsoever. The Beer battered cheese curds were good, but a little on the greasy side. I initially ordered the vanilla vinaigrette with my side salad, but I found it too sweet and citris-y for my liking. So I used the ranch that came with my wings. Although, the ranch has a dill undertone that I wasn't a fan of. It was half off shakes, so we ordered the Strawberry Cheesecake. Essentially, it is Strawberry shake with a hunk of cheesecake and some graham crackers shoved into it. Glad it was half off, I wouldn't have ordered it otherwise.
