I
came
to
this
facility
for
a
procedure
that
no
one
wants
to
have
done.
Overall
during
my
visit
I
felt
well
cared
for
and
safe.
The
staff
was
professional
and
compassionate.
My
fiance
and
I
liked
that
ID
was
checked
upon
entry
for
the
safety
of
all
patients.
The
surrounding
area
felt
safe
and
the
facility
itself
was
organized
and
clean.
I
will
go
into
quite
a
lot
of
detail
below
for
anyone
who
would
like
insight
into
my
experience.
The
visit
started
with
the
checking
of
our
ID's
and
the
scanning
of
my
insurance
card.
I
signed
some
consent
papers
and
returned
to
my
seat.
I
waited
no
longer
than
you
would
for
a
typical
doctor
appointment.
When
called
back
for
the
preliminary
ultrasound,
my
fiance
and
I
were
walked
to
a
secondary
waiting
area.
After
a
few
minutes
I
was
called
back
and
he
was
able
to
accompany
me
to
the
exam
room
upon
my
request.
The
exam
nurse
was
very
sweet
and
made
sure
any
information
she
gave
me
was
on
a
want
to
know
basis.
After
the
ultrasound
I
was
taken
to
a
health
screening
office.
This
was
between
only
a
nurse
and
I
because
I
was
asked
some
personal
safety
questions
as
well
as
personal
medical
history.
Natalie
did
a
great
job
of
going
over
the
procedure
with
me
step
by
step
once
we
finished
the
health
screening.
The
questions
I
had
were
answered
with
well
rounded
honest
responses.
Natalie
took
her
time
speaking
with
me.
She
was
attentive
to
my
answers
and
my
own
questions.
Then,
I
was
walked
to
a
medication
station
where
I
was
given
a
few
preliminary
pills.
I
opted
for
the
anti-anxiety
med
instead
of
IV
sedation
so
I
had
to
wait
30
mins
for
the
diazapam
to
do
its
job.
A
nurse
checked
back
in
to
make
sure
I
was
still
comfortable.
When
the
30
mins
had
passed
another
nurse
came
and
walked
me
to
a
surgical
suite
(it
was
not
as
scary
as
it
may
sound
to
some).
She
instructed
me
to
undress
from
the
waist
down,
where
to
put
my
belongings,
and
how
to
cover
myself
for
when
the
doctor
came
in.
A
few
minutes
later
the
nurse
re-entered
with
a
2nd
nurse
and
the
doctor.
These
3
women
were
so
kind
and
comforting.
The
doctor
walked
me
through
step
by
step
and
gave
me
a
heads
up
before
each
part
of
the
procedure.
My
anxiety
of
not
knowing
how
much
pain
I
would
personally
feel
was
the
worst
part.
I
did
feel
cramping
but
I
thought
it
was
manageable.
I
will
be
honest
that
I
did
squirm
a
bit
and
had
to
take
deep
breaths.
The
2
nurses
took
turns
holding
my
hand
while
the
doctor
worked.
I
could
truly
feel
and
see
the
compassion
in
their
words
and
on
their
faces.
I
was
told
approximately
how
long
each
step
would
take
and
was
warned
when
more
intense
cramping
was
going
to
take
place
(This
more
intense
cramping
was
2
times
and
lasted
15
seconds
each.
It
was
still
completely
manageable.).
The
procedure
was
no
longer
than
5
minutes
start
to
finish,
including
the
cervical
numbing
and
all.
I
was
told
ahead
of
time
the
procedure
would
be
anywhere
from
2-5
minutes
and
that
estimate
was
truthful.
Upon
completion,
I
realized
the
anxiety
of
not
knowing
was
worse
than
the
actual
discomfort
I
felt.
I
felt
relived
and
supported
by
the
staff.
The
accompanying
nurse
helped
me
sit
up
and
gave
me
instructions
to
gather
myself
and
my
belongings.
Once
I
was
dressed
I
proceeded
to
observation.
This
was
only
a
15
minute
observation
for
me
since
I
only
took
diazapam
and
not
the
IV
sedation.
My
nurse
offered
me
a
drink
and
snack
(I
chose
hot
chocolate
and
goldfish.
She
gave
me
some
graham
crackers
for
good
measure.)
as
well
as
a
heating
pack
followed
by
aftercare
instructions.
When
my
15
mins
were
up
I
was
walked
back
to
the
front
and
was
free
to
meet
my
partner
for
the
ride
home.
I
had
period
like
cramping
throughout
the
night
but
it
was
nothing
some
advil
couldn't
fix.
After
a
night's
sleep
I
woke
up
feeling
like
myself
with
barely
there
cramping.
Given
the
reason
of
my
visit
and
the
treatment
I
received,
I
truly
belive
I
had
a
5
star
experience
at
this
facility
and
I
would
recommend
it
to
others.
