Short changed and stole my money. Paid for $8 with $20 and gave back $6 and some change instead of $12. "Tried" to give back 10 with 2 $5 which was only one. Also felt discriminated and looked frown upon because I wasn't a Latino. I guess I'm not allowed to visit because I don't speak Spanish or I'm a Latino. They will cheat you, rip you off, and literally steal your money if you're not a local. Do not go here.

Be aware that they will steal your money; they will jack the price when you pay; and give you a different prices than the ones in the wall, I bought 3 eggs baleadas $5.50 each, 1 asada lunch $13, 2 drinks $2.50 each. Brings a Total of $34.50+Tax, when I paid they charged me $47.63 when I went back to tell them. They said the $13.13 was the tax and bunch of excuses. Hope they apologize and be honest because here in USA what they're doing is fraud and illegal.

Hole in the wall type spot!!!! For my military folks who are stationed in NAVSTA GreatLakes area and looking for something other than Mexican, then this is the spot!! The staff are very friendly down to earth and if you don’t understand what you are looking at they will explain it to you. This place is NOT pricey, and you get lots of food. Remember this place IS NOT Mexican. The only negative thing about it is that they need to expand their menu..

Really good food! I am actually impressed by the place and service as it was my first time visiting and wasn't sure what to expect... the venue is small and honestly not very welcoming when you first walk in but staff is friendly. Went in knowing what to order only because I have a friend from Honduras :) The baleada was a little intimidating at first but extremely delicious. The pastelitos were amazing. The red tomatoe sauce is very good. Was going to order a soup but they were all out. Overall good food.

Affordable little plate can’t say steak was the best I’ve ever had but for the price you can’t beat it .

Ate here for the first time and loved it! The pork tamale was the most delicious tamale I've ever had. It wasn't dry, had a bit of a smoky flavor, was filled with rice, pork, potato and carrot, and pretty good size, more the size of a burrito. SO good! Place is clean, they are super friendly and fast service. Will definitely be going back to eat!

We had their stewed beans and white rice with chicken. The food was wonderful. We went back three days straight while visiting Gurnee. I recommend everything.

I went this morning to buy baliadas and an enchiladas the lady that took my payment was very rude i gave her my debit card in her hands after she process my payment she just put it on the counter she just said its there she did not hand it to me in my hands and she also did not said Thank you , that is a Terrible customer service, she seemed in a very bad mood the lady is wearing a light blue shirt also my baleada did not have sour cream and i asked for sour cream 😡😡😡

I was there 4/21/23 . I wanted to try out this place for a while . Man it did not disappoint. I order Baleadas 10/10 . Tortillas super soft everything we’ll seasoned. I also had a pollo con rajadas . I wasn’t expecting to get thin tajada chips but still , it was very delicious. I only wish it had more space to eat inside because it gets packed with people very quick , Overall very happy and definitely going back soon .
