Excellent subs! First time trying Leno’s, won’t be the last! Super fresh, really tasty!

Amazing service and great food for example the chili, soup and potato salad are so delicious. The 3 Foot Subs Rocks especially with the sauce plus you get a 1 liter soda. Indoor and outdoor dining available.

I grew up eating Leno's Sandwich Shop and over the weekend I took my daughters and grandchildren to finally eat at one of my favorite places to eat at growing up. Needless to say my family was very impressed as well as myself I did a happy dance after my first bite my turkey and cheese all the way with their special sauce and spicy giardinieraq tasted the same way it did 30+ years ago. It was so good we stopped back by before we hit the highway to buy another hoagie BUSSSIN 🔥🔥🔥

I'm from Az and all we have are the chain sandwich/sub shops. This place was great. Friendly, fast staff. Ordered a Tuna sub. The taste of the sub and the texure of the bread were perfect! It was the the best sub I have had in years!

This long-standing Waukegan favorite serves up some of the best subs in the Chicago area. Always clean with ultra-friendly service, I'll take a Leno's sub over any popular franchise sub any day of the week. Although best known as a carry-out, this family-owned cozy little venue has some tables & seating as well as outdoor seating making it an even more enjoyable experience during the warmer months. Always tried my best to support local-owned businesses and Leno's has long been one of them. If you love subs then this is the place to be, folks! This restaurant's sammiches are the bomb! Plenty of choices of sandwiches and drinks! Tiny place and gets busy real fast! The Texas Roast Beef I got was massive and ate it for lunch and dinner. Love the sweet and tangy banana peppers and the sauce on the side so the sandwich wont get soggy. The meat was very tasty and very generous. Staffs were very friendly and service was fairly fast.

I haven't been to Leno's since high school (1990) but I heard a coworker talking about it and thought it sounded good for dinner. The menu is huge and there's something for everyone's taste buds. I ordered the gyro sub and lemon rice soup and it was delicious 😋 Efharisto Leno's ❤️

Good place for a sandwich you have to add the sauce for the best flavor. Parking is the hardest part, but you would be hard pressed to win with a commercial chain against them. Only a few tables, so expect a to go. Though they are clean and friendly.

Parking is horrible. Sandwiches were great til we started pouring the Italian dressing n found hair in it could not finish our Sandwiches. It completely grossed us out. Very disappointed since the packets are wrapped in plastic wrap in a to go cups.

When I was in little kid back in the early 80s my sister's and I were in there everyday lol we would cut through the little walk-way between the Grand news stand and I believe it was a dentist office or something iat the time. we live right behind Leno's, visited Waukegan in 2017 still taste the same and smell when you walking just looks different inside I miss you Leno's! Not another place like you out here in AZ:.

I have to really give props to this sandwich shop. It checks off all of the right boxes to truly name this a place 'a gem hidden in the haystack'. Delicious subs with some decent variety. Very friendly service. Highly recommend to make this place your next lunch meal.

Been coming here since I was a kid..Service always has been on point! Sandwiches and soups, desserts are always made with fresh ingredients daily. Plus they deliver!!

By far the best sub sandwich in Waukegan. The Lady who was at the counter made sure my dog had a small dish to go with the bottled water I purchased and a free small snack while I ate my delicious sandwich on the patio on a very hot and humid day.

Have been coming here on and off for over 30 years! Was recommended by my favorite Attorney, actually we both came here for lunch. Never a disappointment, one of those bucket list submarine shops, one has to try at least once. Go there! Yum!

Awesome subs, made with quality, fresh ingredients and the dressing/sauce on the subs is something I crave days after eating there! Usually get to go and sub sandwich is made fresh to order with quality ingredients. I usually order the 10 inch and eat half for lunch and save half for dinner. The turkey club with the dressing and extra side of dressing is my favorite. The original is great too!!! All their sandwiches are delicious. The bread is soft, fresh hoagie and the ingredients are so fresh. Just writing this makes me want to go there. I order to go during lunch and they are pretty quick with getting you in and out. The service is great! Highly recommend!
