Arrived first night and was put in a smoking room, I had booked non smoking. The attendant was very helpful and put me in a bigger room at no cost but it still had a funny smell. The whole place smells like smoke that has been covered up with spray. There are no carpets, bare floor which was dirty. There is WiFi but it is unsecured. No shampoo or conditioner and soap was so tiny and looked like it had been used and put back in the wrapper. Probably not, but that's what it looked like. The shower head was loose so water spraying everywhere. I tightened it but the adjuster wouldn't move unless I held onto the rest of the head and turned it. Shower spray very low pressure. Outside was like a dump, plastic bottles and garbage even a tire, and cigarette butts everywhere. Sign says masks required but not even check-in Clerk wore one. Don't stay here.

If there were a negative option, I'd give this location NEGATIVE stars. Worst stay I've ever had. First, the website and post on travel sites states a pool, no pool, continental breakfast, no breakfast, etc. Second, I booked a king NON smoking room, got there and was given a smoking room with two full size beds. AND they charged my card $30 more than agreed. If there were ANY other rooms available in the area, I'd have left. Management switched my room, and refunded me for the additional amount. DO NOT STAY HERE if you can possibly avoid it.

DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS IT IS YOUR ONLY OPTION! Even then it might be better to just sleep in your car. Check in was great but after that is when it all started going downhill. Not even 10 minutes in the room I saw two cockroaches. There was bugs crawling on the wall we kill Dom said whatever says still relax and go to bed. Next morning we woke up. Everything was good. Went to SixFlags and came back and then an entire box that we used for our food and drinks was gone. Call down this morning the day of check out it took the front desk man almost an hour to bring me a box and in that time housekeeping came to my room and had a big attitude with me saying that we needed to get out because she needed to get the towels and the sheets. I kept telling her what was going on. She did not care. She said you need to get out towels sheets and was mainly speaking Spanish to me which I did not understand so I was repeating myself and she said that I need to get out and then walked away. She said I had 10 minutes to get out. I will not be returning to this motel worst place I have ever stayed.

It seem not safe to many people hanging around. Next room was so loud and arguing. I ask for toilet paper from one of the housekeeping she said the owner told them they can put extra paper and I was staying for 3 days. The refrigerator was not working. I don’t recommend it and I won’t stay there again

Nice motel room temperature is not that good even with AC on or fan after a shower so you can't crack the window little bit.

Not a 5 star with all the bells and whistles but they don't advertise themselves as that. It gets bad reviews cause evidently people think cause they got their room cheap its going to be the greatest ever but that ain't practical. I stayed there for a month working at a glass factory in that area and it was a good place to stay. It was by far the cheapest in the area but they would come around every day and ask if I needed anything. Would definitely stay there again

Friendly staff, clean rooms, safe environment. It’s not the Ritz Carlton but it’s a lovely place to stay for the price. Best in the area by far. Highly recommend!

I booked 2 NON-smoking rooms, for 2 nights. I arrived and the entire place smelled like smoke and cigarettes. I was given smoking rooms. I explained and showed my detailed reservation that showed my booking. I was then given one non-smoking room but I wasn't able to access it as it was locked from the inside. The whole hallway smelled of cigarettes. The staff was friendly, but it was clear the front desk girl wasn't able to fix the issues that surround the motel. It is very unclean and appeared that people were living there.

I have been to many hotels òver the years.... by far my family and I love this hotel and the lady that runs it!! Never meeting us before but did awesome to accommodate us we reserved weeeeks ahead of time and even changed our demands apon arriving. Wish they had more investor's to update them but the care they took to make us happy and keep us safe is very commendable. House keeping is forever cleaning and right down the road from navy grad ...thank yous so much

This is a safe and comfortable place to stay. The location is convenient, with nearby restaurants, gas stations, pharmacies, and other businesses. Will stay here again. With their friendly staff, reasonable prices, ice machines that really make ice, and pet friendliness, I highly recommend!

Manager is great, she definitely went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable!

The room was clean, and came with a large flat screen tv. The place in general is sketchy, not a place I would bring children along, nor did I feel completely safe. There was a homeless man sleeping under the stairs, which I discovered on my morning search to find some coffee.

Room was ok ordered online almost 9 hours ahead of time went there my non-smoking room wasn’t ready. No non-smoking room was ready. They already took my money so I had to get a smoking room because I was on the road for 14 hours and didn’t want to wait any longer to check in.

There were bugs in the room that I had to kill. The towels were overly scratchy. The bedding had stains and cigarette burns on one so we had to share the other bed. The staff was rude. The side door closest to our room had 2 doors with only a foot between them, the outdoor door was completely broken and the inside one that you have to use your card to get into is so close to that outside door that anyone could push through the second one immediately after a guest unlocks it. The room reeked of cigarettes when it was a “non-smoking room”

Love staying here. It's close to base, food, six flags is 10 minutes away, mall is close by as well. Property is kept safe and clean

The lobby smelled heavily of urine and was just generally not clean. We had booked a non-smoking room, but it still smelled terrible in the whole building, including our room. Our bed sheets had burn marks from cigarettes. There was mold in a lot of places in the shower. There were hairs of other people on the pillows. Just generally disgusting. The desk clerk was friendly, but this is not a good place to stay if you can at all afford a Marriot down the road.

We were denied extra blankets and pillows. There was a time when our room key was not in service. The motel room is suppose to be non smoking but honestly the entire place smells like nicotine . One of my bathrooms had a lot of rust and when asked if I can move they told me why didn’t I just use my family member bathroom that was staying on the same floor. I then advised them that I had paid for a room to have a clean bathroom and then they changed me. Not what I expected at all nothing like the photos. Save your money as this was not worth it. When we did find extra pillows one of the staff knocked on our door and told us we needed to give the pillows back like really it’s a motel there are some people that like to sleep with two pillows but that not allowed there I guess just Rude. Very confrontational with customers when we were there a customer argued for a refund and the police were called because things got out of control.

**honest review** my room was not that great. The comforter and sheets did have holes in them I assume from a cigarette of sorts. And a couple of cigarette burns in the bathroom towel rack/chair in the room I had. I also had loud arguing neighbors across the hall. Couldn’t get any rest. For safety both entry doors going to the other side of the hotel was not locked anyone could access through the door. the front desk person who was there does not take 3rd online party reservations (I booked via Expedia) and also saw the luggage I had (6 bags of luggage) and proceeded to give me a room on the second floor. checkout was calm and easy. the other front desk employees allowed me to stay in the lobby to wait for my ride with no complaints at the end of my stay. :)

For the amazing staff alone I’m giving 5 stars! Everyone is really nice and welcoming. It’s in an area that you question but just make sure you stay in the front building. It’s quite and I never had any issues i keep to myself tho too, there’s a mini fridge and Microwave which is really awesome! I have stayed here a lot thru my stay out here in Great Lakes and I’m sure I will stay again if it decides to snow again. 🤦🏻‍♀️
