This place is Absolutely HORRIBLE! Went for my kids Navy graduation so it was only an overnight stay. People were arguing all night next door and the bathroom was so disgusting that we didn't want to take a shower. Tried to change rooms but the nasty couple that run the hotel/motel said they were sold out. Not due to tourists but because of the people that literally live there. Cleaning lady walked into my room without knocking. And my phone in the room didn't work to call down to the front desk to complain! Everything was a NIGHTMARE! Please don't waste your money! No stars deserved but I had to give them one just to post this!

Poor service, dirty rooms diet and dust build up all over the room. Spider webs hanging from the ceiling. Needed extra pillows was only given one. Had to make a trip to the store for cleaning supplies to make the room liveable. Cleaning service was poor. Bathroom was never ever cleaned. We used cleaning supplies we purchased. Towels were few and dingy and stained. Sheets on beds were never changed for the 6 days and nights we stayed there. We bought our own covers and pillows after disinfecting the bed and pillows there.

I dont know why people have given bad reviews. From the moment you walk in the door the staff is Always pleasant and the hotel is clean and accommodating. There is an elevator if you need that to get to the 2nd floor. The rooms and bedding are clean and there is heat and A/C, a coffee maker, a hair dryer, a microwave and a refrigerator. Its Alot nice than competing hotels in Waukegan and surrounding areas and is reasonably priced. We stayed a little over a week.

Save yourself and DO NOT STAY HERE. I made the mistake of being fooled by the price and name “Executive”. The second we walked in you could smell the reminiscing stench of cigarette smoke even though there is a sign saying “no smoking allowed”. Then the front desk looks like an old drive thru window. Okay fine whatever. But we got to our room and oh my word. Let’s take a tour.. the bathroom: the towels are they supposed to be a grayish yellow color.? The shower “curtain” was a plastic liner that was also yellow. And the best part was that there was urine dried on the toilet seat! How cute is that! Next we go to the room: the bed looked like someone had a quickie and left.. could almost still see the head imprints in the pillows. We brought our own pillows so whatever right? No. I pulled back the sheets and black hair and yellow stains EVERYWHERE. That’s where I drew the line and we left. When asking at the front desk for a refund one of the ladies grabbed a bottle of Febreze and says “I’ll go clean the seat!”.. luckily we got a refund but that was the ONLY good thing. Don't trust the non smoking signs there's a wall of cigarette smell that will knock you on your ass. It was so bad my wife lived on an inhaler even though there was no smoke. The front desk was a desolate wasteland that screamed no service. It's only saving grace is that it uses real toilet paper in their bathroom and there is an attempt at cleanliness.

Every time I stayed here it was the best and mom and pops are so sweet😭🥰

I called this hotel acting was any rooms available smoking rooms available and he said yes there was but then when I asked him about pets he said there was it I said okay and then he hung up before I came and asked the rest of the questions. Then I turn around and call back two seconds later literally two seconds later and the man decides to tell me that that room is not available somebody has just checked it out which I knew was a lie simply because I have been sitting in the parking lot the whole time waiting trying to figure out if I was going to go in there and nobody came in or went out that hotel so I know for certain that the room was still available I don't know what the owner was on or the worker was on but he was not nice he was rude and he had horrible customer service and he decided to argue with me about the room after I asked him how was the room not available and nobody came in. Long story short I would not recommend this hotel to anybody it doesn't look that clean or smell that clean and they do not practice 6 ft environment cuz the man was in there without a mask and he was talking and yelling he opened the glass and was talking through the glass I would not recommend anybody going there and I damn sure won't be back.

Bad service and rude worker!!! Totally would not recommend this hotel at all! We got a 3 queen beds in 1 room. 1st thing: It was a non smoking room but all of the blankets had cigarette holes. First night when we got here, the toilet wasn't working properly. We inform desk worker, he said he will have his maintenance come and look. Waiting 1/2 hr, no one showed up. I went back and ask if anyone is coming to look at the toilet. The worker said his maintenance is on his way but he will personally come and look at it. He came and plunged the toilet and got it to work properly. We were gone all day the next day. We didn't get back to the hotel til late. The toilet again wasn't flushing right and it was going to flood the bathroom. Made a call to the front desk. A younger guy came and asked me to flush the toilet, so I did so that he can see what was going on. He said that we was going to go and get me a plunger and I plunge the toilet. My politely said I wasn't going to plunge it cause it's not me job. I paid for the room and service. He replied and said he didn't know how to use a plunger. He said he can get us a different room to use the bathroom only but not the whole room. I said " it's not my job to plunge the toilet, second of all, We are not going to walk down the hall at the middle of the night to use another bathroom in a different room. We asked for a different room with a working toilet if he can't get this one to work. He replied that he can't do that and that all he can do is let us use another bathroom from another room. Then I said we would like a refund or a different room. He left for about 10 mins later, he came back with a plunger and got the toilet to work again. Really bad service. We will never come back to this hotel again. Rude service. If you don't know how to use a plunger and you work at a hotel, go to a plunging class!!!

This place is disgusting. I checked in and paid in full before I was even given a key. Walked into our room and sheets and comforter had stains. It also looked like there was pizza sauce and crumbs all over the sheets. I was going to stay 2 nights and ended up being charged for both nights and didn't even stay a single night. Don't waste your time and money at this place. I had reservations for another trip in July and have cancelled my reservation at this place

The beds had hair and burn holes, stains all over the mattresses, I wouldn't have used the microwave for any reason (it was disgusting ) nothing was clean. We were in there for 5 minutes before we walked out. Absolutely disgusted!
