    The State owns most of the Rms which gives vouchers out to the homeless mostly individuals not for families .Decent if u need just A crash spot at WKLY RATES for temp reasons like work or something .I'd bring ur blanket& pillow if it's an extended stay. THERE are full size fridges a counter top w 2built in electric coil stove burners. ITS not UPSCALE by no means but definitely will works to get sleep have a shower .The Office is only OPEN till 7PM to book a Rm get towels etc .

    Arrive at 11am to check in after calling to verify that early check in is allowed. Girl at front desk ignores knocking on door even though she looks right at me. Another tenant has to inform me that they only answer knocking on the side window even though there are no signs and the location for the free coffee is inside the room for the front desk. I am then informed that despite my having asked via phone about early checkin that I would have to wait because all rooms were booked the night before and needed to be cleaned before I could go in. I was told this would require me to wait until 3pm (4 hours). I arrive 4 hours later and the girl at the front desk acted like I was bothering her by wanting to check in now. we are informed at this point that the elevator does not function and asked if this is ok??? This after having checked us in and charged my card for the week stay giving us a room on the 3rd floor. Left with literally no other options than to forfeit our payment for the room we opted to stay. Once in the room I was disgusted... black mold everywhere, wall patch that had not even been sanded let alone painted... various stains on the walls.. missing handles from the sink... dirty floors and shower... missing knob from stove that was so dirty it couldn't possibly be functional nor did i wish to find out... the list goes on but I don't have the patience to type it all.. I took the pics for proof and will post if google lets me. Run don't walk away from staying here.

    There was stains on my bed sheets then a huge yellow stain on the covers. I stayed for about 2hrs before I left and got a hotel somewhere else because I was hitting bit by bugs. There are bug bits all over my body now. There was also nats and the refrigerator kept making a loud noise. The microwave seemed like it would explode at any moment. That was my fist and last time going to red roof.

    My wife and daughter drove 12 hours. Got stuck in traffic for a little over 30 minutes on the way. When they arrived, they were told their reservation was canceled and their room given away. The manager would only speak to them via phone. I would not recommend based on their extremely poor customer service. If they take this down. I will keep reposting.

    THIS PLACE IS HORRENDOUS!!!! Please don’t waste your time booking with them! I booked with them with other family members with different room. All three rooms were DISGUSTING. The first room had a big red spot in the bed, the other two room looks like a hoarder room. They look like they haven’t been cleaned in MONTHS. My mom got a two queen beds room months in advance and gave her a one bed room because they were “all booked”. When we all tired to get a refund they wanted to only give back half of it. Please don’t waste your time here, I would recommend going to Sonesta ES suite which is only 4 minutes away from there. The suite room are like a apartment room and is an affordable price for all the things that it includes.

    Please do not stay here. Room wreaked of cigarette smoke and the floors were filthy and dirty. Got flea bites all Over my bed and in total saw 4 bugs on my day during my stay. There were mysterious stains all over the place and the bathrooms felt like they could crumble at any time… trash was never collected nor were sheets changed. I asked for towels as there was only one in a two bed room. The lady was at least nice. No one cleaned the room during our stay. Elevators weren’t working. Saw the ambulance arrive in front at 3 am and carry someone out on a stretcher. SCARY. Hated the experience at this hotel will never never be going back please save your money and time and invest in something NICE TO MAKE THE TRIP WORTH IT!

    This hotel should not be in business!! The day of my check in I had to wait 15 minutes for someone to return to the office! The room I was put in smelled like cigarettes smoke and the toilet wouldn't work! I discovered that most of the rooms are rented out to homeless people who pay by the week or doing chores around the hotel!!

    After driving from Pittsburgh, I get to the hotel 30 minutes after close (due to construction traffic), so I call the number posted for check-in. I was told that my reservation was cancelled because I didn’t make it in time, leaving me to scavenge for whatever I could find available! They made no attempt to get me my room back! Don’t stay here! I I could have leave negative stars, I would have!

    My spouse and I stayed here for over a year and a half when I was having some terrible difficulties and tragedy in my life. For a while, the only good things you could say about the place was that Jorge and Essence were fairly laid back. They let me take my cats with me, which is nice because I doubt a couple of cats are going to do anything to this place that hasn't been done. Pretty much all the fixtures are ruined, the place is heavily populated by homeless the state puts up and folks down on their luck. Not all are bad, but many are throwing used condoms and drug needles everywhere. The favored pastime of the crackheads is to play steal the Walmart shopping cart and throw it into the retention pond. One person said he lifted the sheets and looked at the mattress. I recommend not doing that, as this is also a cheap hotel that people use for....well, you know. A problem is that almost none of the cooktops work and people go around when they think there's nobody in the room and break out the windows to sneak in and swipe your stuff. While I was there, someone threw a trash can over the rail and into someone's windshield. The more recent pictures show that the motel appears to have stopped washing the sidewalks and you can see how gross things are. Not that they were great. They let trash pile up sky high and there was vermin everywhere. The reason we stayed was lack of alternatives and the fact that they were only charging ~$1,000 a month with all utilities. The HVAC was just an air conditioner. Ours smelled like someone set fire to a dog when we turned the heat on. I had to get space heaters. It got very cold in the winter because the air would just blow straight through the door. When the state started using this flophouse to shelter the homeless, the management increased the rate by ~33% and we found an apartment. This place is rough. As soon as we left I canceled my debit card because I've read about people who continued to get charged past their stay. Years back the city was out there (actually the police are there every day) writing deficiencies for safety, fire hazards, garbage all over the place. Maybe they "came to an arrangement with the inspector" because it was never fixed as far as I know. Whenever we're looking to book a hotel I always use Red Roof and Hometowne Studios for the "LULZ". If you dare stay at this place, my only advice is to LITERALLY EXPECT ANYTHING.

    Management is horrible. Didn't catch your name but overweight African-American women is manager and she is the worst to deal with. Horrible heart was for me it doesn't matter if you call corporate they will get nothing about her or her bad attitude

    This was the worst experience in my life. I will most definitely read reviews from now on. The service was horrible. I booked a room for 7 days requesting two beds. I had 5 people with me and when I checked in they gave me a room with one bed. I went back to the front desk and explained that I requested a two bed room and was told we do not have any rooms available with two beds. I informed the lady at the desk that I had my son, my daughter and two grandkids with me and there was no way I could sleep 5 to that small bed. I then asked for a refund so that I could go and find a room that could accommodate my needs. I was told that I would need to contact the third party I booked with. After contacting them they advised that they would assist me. The front desk was not taking their call. This was on a Saturday and the office is closed on Sundays. I waited until Monday to return to request to check out because I had to obtain another room and they refused to allow me to check out. I stated that I didn't care about the refund any longer and just wanted to check out because I wouldn't be staying there and the lady at the desk denied it. This was ridiculous. I wasted $400 on this room that just sat there empty for a whole week because they refused to check me out. I had to spend another $700 just to have a decent place to stay for me and my family. DO NOT BOOK here unless you are extremely desperate. The pictures online are not a true depiction of what you will see.

    These people are some of the worst kind of people alive. I booked a reservation for 7 nights which came out to almost $400 dollars and when I went to check in they told me that I couldn't stay because I didn't have my ID which is understandable. I asked the rude young lady will I be free refunded and she told me that I would have to receive my refund through the third party that I booked the reservation from. I talked to the booking agent and explained to him the situation and I was told that they have a no refund policy for canceling my reservation on my own accord which I did not cancel by choice. I had no choice but to cancel because I lost my ID prior to arriving to their hotel. I was told that my refund was denied because it's not their fault that I lost my ID even though the same three people that I've explained exactly what happened and they insisted that I would get my refund because of the circumstance. I tried to call them back to confront these people for denying my refund because I work hard for my money just like they do and they also lied to me and wouldn't answer my phone call on purpose 😡 these people are thieves and liars and they need to be held accountable for this practice

    The only reason We are giving it a 2Star is because it served its purpose as a place to sleep instead of a 1 star with all the other problems we encountered. Would not recommend to anybody due to the condition of the room. * Our room was being repaired & painted before we could even check in...as in the paint was still wet. * Manager was uncooperative * Our door had a HUGE gap between it and the frame and we were unable to secure our door. At night we had to move furniture in front of the door to secure it. * Countertop next to sink was rotted out, * Stove which was gas the burners were rusty & appeared unsafe to use *Sink counter was falling apart *Microwave didn't work * Bathroom wall had hole in it from the door handle * Toilet was not attached fully to the floor, so it rocked when using it * Shower head was loose at the wal which could cause a guest to cause a possible water leak into wall area, * Other tenants are possible long-term residents & were VERY loud and disruptive. On one of our nights staying there they were Very Loud for several hours going into the early morning. The price we paid was not worth the 5 days of what we paid. If we could get a refund, we would.

    Very dirty parking lot. Rooms are adequate but don't bring kids unless you don't mind any privacy, Cause the rooms are small. There is no service.

    Clerk asked if I wanted to see room before I stayed. Red flag!!! I checked room out checked for bugs on mattress lifted sheet mattress had mold/mildew on it. Enough said! People staying there looked like they was on drugs or whatever. I booked with Priceline which i contacted and hotel will not give my money back. This place is not only filthy nasty but thief’s. There is no way this place should be on any booking sites. Wish I toke pictures to post.
