We attended a small party today here for a friend's son. The restaurant was clean and well stocked with gloves for everyone to use while at the buffet. Speaking of the buffet, it was well stocked with pizza, desserts, sides as well as chicken, some vegetables, mashed potatoes and gravy to name a few of the items. Overall all the hot foods were kept hot and everything looked fresh and good to eat. One of the great things about this restaurant is their ability to make a custom pizza on request. The staff was helpful and kept taking away any used dishes from the party room. Our experience was a good and we would definitely recommend this place for anyone seeking a relaxed venue with a nice variety of foods especially if you have kids and want to eat out on a small budget.

The food was great! The only thing was there weren't too many pizza out, but that could have just been the time. The service was good as well.

Pizza was limited in variety, but fresh. Salad bar was good and the chicken was fantastic! Restaurant was clean and staff was friendly and attentive. Overall, no complaints, and I would certainly return. Pricing at $16.95 is a bit steep though in my opinion.

We took a special friend there & we were happy we did. All three of us were happy we were there. The only complaint was the broccoli cheese soup was very pasty & no flavor. Also I had been there before & was surprised to see no spaghetti on the line. It was very good before. We will be coming back. Nice & hot which is very important. Also all the staff very friendly. They were up on keeping it very clean.

The fried chicken is delicious. The pizza is very mediocre and the buffet is not large enough for the size of the place. Pizzas and breadsticks disappear very quickly, so it's hard to get what you want without having to place an order for the pizza you want. The place was clean even though it was pretty busy when we went. So kudos to keeping it clean. The dessert pizza options were tasty.

Love love pizza ranch! For about $10 a meal you get a variety of pizza, really good chicken, mashed potatoes, salad, soup, veggies, and dessert! You can't beat that! They make sure to have something for everyone.

This place reminds me of CeCe’s Pizza? I went out with the family on a Saturday and it was just very crowded and cluttered with kids. I almost felt like I was at Chucky Ghetto Cheese 🤔😳🤦‍♂️

I love this restaurant chain, and this is the best location of theirs I've been to. The interior has a modern feel with old western decorations as to other locations that are built to look completely old western. The Christian music played here is pleasant. They're the only location I've been to that offers stuffed crust for pizzas you request for the buffet. The buffet has always been well stocked with fresh and varying pizza options unlike some other locations. It's also the only location that regularly keeps their cookie "pizzas" and cactus desert pizzas up regularly. They also serve breadsticks along with their cheese bread that I haven't seen anywhere else, and they are good.

Food quality is good and they will make whatever kind of pizza you'd like and put it out on the buffet. They have tasty fried chicken as well. Staff friendliness is a hot or miss, however last time I went everyone was friendly. If this keeps up I will raise it to five stars.

First time there. Great chicken. Friendly helpful staff. Just not a fan of the serving utensils not being changed out or cleaned. I watch people licking their fingers. Then going up using the tongs with those hands and getting more chicken. Thinking about the next person touching the same tongs. Yuk

Some of the best fried chicken out there. The mashed potatoes and gravy were perfect, which is not a bad trick for restaurant fair. Love the buffet style eating. Only downside last night is there seemed to be a problem keeping chicken on the buffet.

We were there an hour and a half before closing, and they were already beginning the closing clean-up. I understand shutting down certain areas because of low attendance. But to not have food available is unacceptable. No coffee, and I asked if they were going to replenish the chicken and was told "no" because it takes 20 minutes. Hmmm. There was still an hour and a half to go. It's a bit disappointing. I sure would have liked a cup of coffee with dinner. One employee was doing her best to clean tables. While the rest were up front talking. Should have been making chicken. Just saying.

I was there for a party and my sister had confirmed before hand that gluten free options were available for me. What wasn't made clear was that it was a separate fee from the party. The staff wasn't prepared to address our questions and it made the start of the evening very uncomfortable. When the dust settled and I got my pizza I was extremely satisfied with the food. Very delicious and as a person who cannot enjoy traditional pizza anymore, over the moon excited for the opportunity to eat and enjoy.

Was curious about the combination of pizza and chicken buffet. Pizza was satisfactory, but nothing special. However the closest thing around where I live in Ohio I've experienced, regarding a pizza buffet place that's not a pizza restaurant that also has a buffet option is CiCi's. I'd pick Pizza Ranch over CiCi's every time. The main reason I went through was the chicken and associated food. The chicken was excellent! Mashed potatoes and dressing were right up there as well. Mac and Cheese wasn't anything special, and I can make much better at home. Essentially it was as if pasta was cooked and cheap Velveeta was poured over it. Added a orange Fanta ice cream float for dessert by combining the ice cream and pop dispensers to finish off the meal. The place was very very clean which is quite an accomplishment considering all the kids running around. Granted this doesn't fit everyone but I appreciated the upbeat Christian music playing over the sound system. Although I like to try to avoid repeating myself when traveling for business, which is what brought me to the area, at least on this trip, this is the first fully positive eating experience I've had and will keep Pizza Ranch on my list of potential restaurants to visit on my next trip to the area.

Food was great and the service was even better. Love this restaurant. The buffalo chicken pizza stole the show. Only real thing that was negative at all was how cross contamination could occur with the pizzas. When one pizza is low they just dump it into the pan next to it. A member of our party has a severe onion allergy and couldn't mess with most of the pizza buffet because of it.

I am only lowering their rating because of their current hours. After many attempts to eat at this restaurant, my family went to eat lunch at this buffet. The restaurant often closes early turning away a number of guests since COVID started. My son loves to eat at Pizza Ranch. The pizza on the buffet was good, and the chicken was amazing! I also love their salad bar, but they were low on salad dressing.

Was so hungry for the chicken and pizza and when I get there sign said closing early at 7 pm, go to pay a d was told there is NO CHICKEN..only had out maybe 4 pizzas..... No we did did not stay and was not offered any type of discount or even a free buffet for the next visit.. hopefully habe to male the drive there to try for a second time. Hopefully it will be a good visit

Their chicken is some of the best and it keeps us coming back. Because this is a fair priced buffet and you can treat the family for a reasonable cost it brings in crowds that don't know how to behave around others. This is no reflection on the business, but if you're looking for a quiet place where children are monitored and well behaved, don't blame the business.

Never disappointed. It great that they can make you a special favorite pizza for you and it’s done in 12-15 minutes. Very good chocolate chip cookie for dessert. Chicken and pizza are the best. It’s a 30-40 minute drive unless your near by.

While it is a great buffet with much more than pizza, sometimes the section of pizza is strange. That’s to say, there will be many specialty pizzas but no classics. However, there usually some baking and will be out soon. You can order the kind that you want, to be fair. They give you a pager for when it’s ready. Salads are great. They rotate special types. Great fried chicken. Employees do a good job of cleaning up but unfortunately some people are like pigs at a trough and overwhelm things.

Excellent mashed potatoes & gravy with fried chicken! They have fairly decent salad bar. Pizza variety is exceptional but will make your favorite upon asking. 🍨 & soda is included! Price is just right!

Really Pizza Ranch Waukesha? You guys go thru managers here a lot. What's the issue? Something wrong? Your current manager can't resolve a simple issue and has to resort to threatening to call the police. There were so many other options, but she couldn't figure a better scenario. You guys really have a hard time finding competent managers? While the chicken isn't in the bin, salad bar all disarrayed, people waiting for pizza, tables not clean, your manager was obsessed with making a point, which resulted in scaring little kids. Advice- when you interview for a manager spot, look past the ones w/ squinty beady eyes that bare no soul and are too close together.

First time visit and I will be back. I usually don't eat my money's worth of food at a buffet but the food was so good I ate 4 full plates. This pizza was like the best frozen pizza you ever made and the chicken was seasoned crunchy and juicy. The sides were very good and the salad bar was nice. I would've given five stars if they had more at the salad bar particularly cottage cheese and fruits.

  • 4/5 Steven B. 10 months ago on Google
The place to go if you like people watching. Much more to eat than just pizza. They do a good job of clearing dishes as you finish them. Also a good job of trying to keep the buffet clean from all of the vultures 😁

Never once in my life have I had such good food it has been a long while since I’ve had anything even close. I have never seen such a fine assortment of sweet and savory food from the delicious pastries and cookies to the ever so tasty and cheesy pizza and breadsticks. My entire family of four loved this place. Trust me when I say folks it’s worth your money, and It’s fun for the whole family!!! (Although the food tasted great going in I did experience some stomach problems after me and my family experienced what we like to call the “post ranch chills” which is where your body starts down and your heart rate starts to slow and your body Initiates some sort of pseudo hibernation). Other than this, I am a firm supporter of the pizza ranch and I always wash by the food and service!!!

We like going to Pizza Ranch for a quick and easy meal. There are many options my 2 year old son enjoys, including mashed potatoes, peas, fried chicken, corn and pizza. I like the options of pizza toppings. The quality of ingredients is fine. I LOVE the chocolate chip cookie pizza.

I don't know what's going on today. So again we went to the zoo and wanted to end our night at pizza ranch however the biscuits were burnt I mean 80% black when I mentioned it to an employee she claimed she would get to it and even an hour later they were still there. The green beans looked old n nasty, they had some plan boring spiral pasta, some reason didn't have the Mandarin oranges and they were out of. Salad dressing. Whomever is supposed to be keeping track of everything is slacking big time cause it wasn't that busy. I can usually eat 4-5 plates if chicken pizza sides ice cream n pop. Tonight I barely ate two. Sat next to people stealing chicken which I hope was caught on camera. A while back we enjoyed a day at the Milwaukee county Zoo (not bashing the zoo food however a single pepperoni pizza there is about $15 however a buffet w/pizza chicken etc here for an adult is about $16 w/drink n ice cream. That's an easy decision so we'll make this our routine after the zoo. Just hope they understand we take a cooler of snacks etc to the zoo n with us being on the bus the cooler may be with us) and stopped here for dinner and again great service food etc. We were there again on 3/4. We arrived around 2 it was a lot less crowded however staff were great at keeping up with clearing and cleaning tables n keeping food fresh. My son didn't see a pizza he wanted n when he respectfully asked the staff made it for him n made sure he got the first slice (he wanted hand tossed bacon pepperoni and sausage) my little girl asked for an extra cheesey n they made it for her. That was pretty cool! in February when we went the place was packed n there was consistent table turnover. Staff were great at cleaning up quickly after parties were leaving n grabbing unwanted plates etc through out. When a staff member was inappropriate with a young child and his behavior was brought to a managers attention it's was addressed and resolved very quickly and professionally. Food was fresh and very delicious for me, my 11&5 year old it cost $43 not bad with it all being good including ice cream.

I first went to pizza ranch in the Wisconsin Dells. This place was much better. This location has friendly, competent, and kind staff who were good to my children. Never had to wait long when an item ran out. Fried chicken just kept coming. Clean - including the restrooms. Very well run Pizza Ranch and great value. Will definitely be back!

No complaints. I love a buffet. And TRY to eat low carb. So i like being able to take several pieces and not eat the crust. And the salad bar has decent selection including egg and peas -things that aren't always on a salad bar. There was always fresh food coming out. And someone was quick to clear our empty plates.

We had a pretty good experience! I mean, it's what you would expect of a pizza buffet place: very busy at dinner time, sometimes there's enough pizza, sometimes not, alright quality... But I thought the quality was better than other pizza buffets I've been to and the servers were helpful and working very hard! I liked all the different kinds of pizzas they had also. My husband said he enjoyed the fried chicken! A good price for the buffet, I thought!

Had a family get together here. Good chicken!! Pizza isn't that great!! I'd give it a one on the 1 to ten scale!! I've had far better frozen pizzas!! I call it the chicken ranch!! Because they have good chicken, mashed potatoes ,stuffing and gravy!!

They chicken was awesome. I ate like 4 thighs. Corn was bland but gravy and potatoes were good. My party loved the pizza. Wait staff was very polite and helpful. We will return

  • 1/5 Scott S. 2 years ago on Google
Cashier was courteous, but most of the other employees were ambivalent and seemed like they didn't want to be there. Most of the pizza there was stale, probably from sitting out awhile. Salad bar adequate. I think they have gloves there because the restaurant didn't receive any cleaning from any of the employees during our visit. If you want pizza, go to a real pizza restaurant. If you want a buffet, go to Golden Corral down the street. I am not sure how this place stays open. My first and last visit.

I called Pizza Ranch, Waukesha on Friday, Oct 7th to order Chicken & Pizza for a family gathering of 40-50 guests on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2022 at my home . Manager, Brian helped me figure out how much chicken & pizza I wanted and kindly helped me decide for myself. I ordered 80 pieces (equal) mix thighs, wings, and breasts) PLUS LARGE PIZZAS for 12 noon pickup They packaged the chicken in 3 sturdy and covered foil pans by piece type. The 6 pizzas were packages safely too! The food was great and the service and kindness that Pizza Ranch provides is amazing!! The staff and manager love the customers and you really fca feel it because they are THAT kind. One of the servers told me "the entire staff/team loves what we do AND we all love each one of our customer✌️ All of my guests were commentary about the chicken and pizza and wanted to know where the restaurant is located. I'm confident they will visit within a couple of weeks👍 Thank you again The dining room service is incredible so, I'm confident they'll be in good hands✌️ Cassandra
