Wonderful place! The coffee was phenomenal — sweet, velvety, and very “traditional.” My spouse ordered a breakfast panini (which I also tried), and it was probably the best we’ve ever had! Very savory and fresh. We will be visiting again!

I love this new coffee shop! The coffee is so good that I even bought a bag of coffee! I can confirm that the brazil is delicious even at the comfort of home. I’ve tried the breakfast panini as well with their vegetarian sausage and it was super yum! I’m someone who can make coffee at home, but the experience is what keeps me coming for more. You can tell the staff is passionate in what they do, and always have a smile. Thank you for your wonderful service and delicious coffee.

Stopped here during the soft opening and really enjoyed everything - Pretty cool that they pointed out their impressive coffee roaster, nice to know they roast in house Had espresso shot, specialty latte and sausage panino breakfast sandwich. All excellent Took everything to go but the interior looks nice, and gives access to the shopping facilities beyond. Overall a nice addition to this part of Wausau, opening just in time to take your latte on a moody fall walk by the riverside

Now that’s what a latte should taste like. Sooooo good. I got an iced caramel vanilla latte with oat milk. It’s amazing. Best one I’ve had in wausau and I’ve pretty much tried them all!

The coffee was delicious, fresh, and very high quality. The environment was bright and very friendly. I ordered the Douglas, a signature latte, and loved it! We also bought a bag of Brazil, one of their roasted coffee blends and are excited to brew it at home. It smells wonderful. The staff was incredibly nice and helped me pick a coffee based on my preferences. We will definitely come back whenever we are in town.

I love these guys and am so happy to have a coffee shop in the area. The service is unbelievably friendly, the food is delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is very relaxed and pleasant. I am excited to see them grow and to come here for years to come. I got the original panini (lunch version, which is a grilled cheese) with the tomato basil bisque, and it was heaven on earth.

I've been waiting for a coffee shop of this caliber downtown Wausau for quite some time now. I tried an espresso shot, a latte, a cup of drip coffee, and took multiple varieties of beans home to brew on my own, and they were all fantastic. I love seeing the roaster on-site, and experiencing the palette of flavors they're establishing in the various roasts. The service and atmosphere were outstanding, and I definitely intend to spend a significant amount of time at The Pinery Coffee Co., given the overall quality of the experience in every regard. Highly recommended!
