The burritos 🌯 and tacos 🌮 here are always AMAZING!! The owners are very friendly and accommodating! They offer a Taco Tuesday special, and also have DJ/ Karaoke 🎤 equipment for Saturday nights or for parties! They have a lot of space and accommodations for events as well! Definitely a hidden gem 💎 in Wausau! 😎🌮💯☀️🌯

I love Mexican food; this was the best I've ever had. I ate the gordita with lengua, the burrito with birria, and the sope with the chorizo-beef mixture. My favorite thing was the sope; the vessel was tender and crisp, the meat was very tasty, and the whole thing was deeply complimented by the green salsa. The burrito was spicy and refreshing. The best bites were when the fresh avocado, onion, and cilantro mingled with the spicy, savory beef. The gordita had a wonderful crust and the lengua was a lovely balance of chewy and tender and paired well with the salty, stretchy cheese. I highly recommend this place. I will visit everytime I drive through Wausau from here on out. Pictured: volcan and gordita, flautas

Thanks Google Maps and other reviewers for pointing me here. Exactly what I wanted. Authentic food, no frills. Everyone working was so nice! Order chips and salsa - seriously, the chips are made to order, the salsa is sooooo delicious - fresh ingredients, a touch of spice, lots of cilantro, perfect flavor. Vegetarian here- they kindly accommodated my request for no meat sopes, which were excellent as well. I didn’t ask about pork in the refried beans, i really should have. Please do if that is a concern. My dining companion ordered a steak quesadilla, which she said was excellent as well.

Food is good and pretty authentic for Wausau but I feel the portion size vs price isn’t up to par with other places in town.

THE BIRRIA IS PHENOMENAL. Had some heat to it! I also got chicken tacos that were awesome too! No white people food coming out of here! I’ll certainly be back.

Stopped on Friday July 23 and really enjoyed our meal. Came back on Sunday July 25th as Google indicated they are open till 6pm on Sundays. How ever they were closed after we drive 5 miles out of our way. I don’t respect restaurants that do not keep their profile up to date.

Always love coming here. They're the nicest people and the food always impresses. I always try to get the special, whatever it is. Just had the quesabirria tacos and they were awesome. The consommé they serve with it is amazing too. I ended up drinking the rest of it since it was so good. Keep it up!

Excellent food and well priced compared to other places in town. Strongly recommend sopes de asada or birria.

I got the steak tacos and they were fantastic! Hard to find solid tacos and Zebas did nailed it. This place is a hidden gem.

Amazing food, the sauces are spicy but tasty, everything tastes fresh and well-made. Even on Cinco de Mayo, the service and food were amazing.

Incredible food; texture, flavor and presentation. My first visit I had chorizo tacos, corn tortillas still warm from oil. That, the beans, rice... and their pork beans. Wow. Today I took my wife there, excited to share how incredible their food was - and it didn't disappoint. The sopas were crispy and tender and super flavorful. The birria tacos were (soaked) in deliciousness. This is a casual diner; nothing fancy. With food thats out of this world.
