I looked into renting here earlier in the month. The quality they offer at the prices and restrictions is simply not worth it. A minimum income of $58k to rent a 1 bedroom garden apartment at $1400 and no pets and no laundry in unit is ridiculous and I'm having a hard time imagining how this property attracts tenants when there are a multitude of identical ones in the area for far better terms.

I barely write reviews, But i felt I need to write for this. I liked the place and community bu the maintenance is terrible at best. Hey management( if there is any at all) , can you please send a maintenance guy for the following issues :). I am so tired to call the office to report it. 1- refrigerator issues I have reported 3-4 months back 2- heating system making weird sound since last october when the heat was opened first i have reported maybe 10-20 times. 3- hot water issues in the bathroom that i reported maybe 10 times since last June which is the day we moved in.

The lady who works at the desk Marianne needs to be trained better she is not professional at all and does not know how to communicate with new customers rude ignorant lady . Also the structure to get an apartment here is a hassle they will make you fill out applications just to waste your time and eat 50 bucks each time you apply. Never thought getting an appartement over here would be so complicated it’s like buying a castle with these people definitely wont recommend anybody to live here the management team is unorganized and unprofessional.

I just wanted to inform anyone who was interested or looking for an apartment to look elsewhere don’t let the advertisement fool you these apartments are going up in price for outdated apartments not only are the apartments outdated and expensive but the management team is certainly no help I had the displeasure of speaking to Michelle in the office headquarters in regards to my payment for rent when asking her a simple question in regards to submitting my payment she gave me a nasty attitude and raised her voice at me I felt super uncomfortable and confused I didn’t understand why there was hostility behind a simple question so when I asked again she continued to repeat herself with an even nastier tone to make a long story short she didn’t help me and the line got cut after calling back it seemed impossible getting a hold of someone in the management office it seems like a hassle these days and when you do get connected to someone their tone is either disinterested or passive aggressive from the outdated living style and the poor customer service that this community serves I rate it a 2 star if you’re considering moving here let me save you the trouble look elsewhere.

I lived here for few years. Very spacious apartment and the rent is good value for money. The community is safe and friendly. Great location for commuters to NYC. Diana in the rental office is very helpful and tries her best to keep the residents happy. The maintenance crew is great & shows up fast if you need one.

If I could I would give a -1000. Stay away from these apartments because you can ended up in those that have rusty furnitures, the apartment smell bad, a lot of cockroaches, and the maintenance people are rude. If you have an emergency nobody answer the phone. The parking is a disaster. Updates: after they change the maintenaince person, things got better. so i m going to add +1004 stars just because the maintenance person and especially the rental office are doing a good job until I was there.

I stayed here for exactly one year. My experience has been great. Spacious and well maintained apartments. Only problem is you need to follow up with maintenance team, in case of any repairs in your home.

I lived here for 5 years, just purchased a home, had a good experience at Brooklawn. I made a lot of friends here. Nice people, great location. The apartments are near public transportation which made it easy for me to commute to work. The apartment is updated and spacious. Friendly community, very quiet.
