Our experience at Wayne Steakhouse for Mother's Day dinner was a disaster. Despite arriving on time and being promptly seated, everything went downhill from there. We endured a near two-hour wait for our meal, which never did arrive. When questioned, our server could only offer apologies and assurances that it would be coming soon. In the meantime, the table seated next to us who ordered well after we did, received their food after complaining to the staff. Adding to our disappointment, the supposed owner was rude and unhelpful when we expressed our concerns. In conclusion, I cannot recommend this steakhouse to anyone. It's truly unfortunate because the food itself may have been good, but we never got to find out. We left the restaurant hungry and disappointed, which greatly affected what was meant to be a special occasion for our family. I find it ironic that within a few hours of posting this review, over ten glowing five-star reviews miraculously surfaced.

What a disappointment! From start to finish there wasn’t anything positive to the experience. Cesar salad dressing was a mix of vinaigrette and Caesar dressing. Ordered the porterhouse steak medium rare and It was cold on the inside. Broccoli rabe was cold and tasted awful. For these prices they charge, you’re better off going to Ruth Chris or River Palm.

Took my mom for Mother’s Day can never go wrong with a steak . Was our first time in this place staff was really friendly. The food best quality . Everything was perfect. There was a table in front off me where the customers where really rude too staff and even cursed at a lady waiter very feminist. For god sakes it was Mother’s Day how can you scream and disrespect a woman like that . If you don’t want to go out on a special day don’t ruin other customers day. Very disappointed of this 2 man most likely dad and son .

Steak was good but all 4 lobster tails smelled like strong ammonia. Everyone in the party could not eat the lobster. They did agree to take it back after they smelled them but expect better from such a great place to give your customers food poisoning! They agreed they were bad but never apologized. Watch out when they push “specials” they know they are spoiled. Also, they make their workers post positive reviews. We recognize the staff from the photos of other reviews. I should have looked at their terrible Yelp reviews before spending $600.

Been going to WSH for years and never disappointed until last night. End of summer so wasn't busy at all on a Friday night. Plenty of waiters to serve. I ordered two Ribeyes medium rare for me and my son, wife got NY strip. 45 mins later we got a NY Strip, a ribeye, and a filet. Waiter apologized for the mistake and said chef will make me a ribeye now. 15 minutes later I got a rare ribeye. When I showed the clearly raw center and asked for it to be cooked some more, the waitress said "is it too rare for you?". I could also hear her in the background smirking that they need to find out exactly how I want my steak cooked, as if I was being unreasonable. Another 10 minutes later, I received the same steak now overcooked and a solid medium. My wife and son were long done with their meals, so I rushed to finish my $70 steak. I was really looking forward to the meal, but wasn't a pleasant experience at all. Btw, no offers for free desert or taking any of my apps or sides off. I guess the customer isn't right at WSH anymore. Shame....

Best service from beginning to end food was great my best Mother’s Day dinner. Appetizers in time steaks just hit the spot and sides broccoli was my very favorite. Felt like a queen. At some point there was a very rude customer demanding for food screaming at staff went in the kitchen cursing. I understand people have no manners. My table was on the other side off the dining room and I was able too hear him screaming.

We have been doing our “steak night” at WSH for over 2 years now. Vlora is awesome! She handled our “in loving memory” event for over 40 guys. She took care of us and made sure every detail was just perfect. The food and and service from the staff was flawless.

Absolutely fantastic. Service was great. The steak was outstanding and cooked perfectly. My after dinner espresso was spot on. Everything came out fast and perfect. Super clean

Absolutely delish meals! First time coming through to celebrate Mothers Day with my family, and I was in love! Will be coming back for sure!

We have our Mother’s Day dinners at Wayne Steakhouse every year. This year did not disappoint either. We had a great time! Did not feel rushed. We were a party of 8 and everyone was very happy with their meal. One of our guests had a specific allergy, our waiter went absolutely out of his way to accommodate. The staff did their best despite being verbally harassed by our neighboring table who wanted their food asap. These people work so hard and it was sad to see how some customers treat restaurant staff. We love Wayne Steakhouse.

OK - went on Wednesday, December 14th for dinner. We were slightly early, waited in the car. A little after 5, went up, door locked no lights. Went back to the car, then a car pulls up and three guys jump out like a clown car unlock the door and turn lights on, needless to say, we did NOT stay after that fiasco.

Server was really processional and kind. Steak was amazing juicy and tasty. Melt without chewing. Salad and mac and cheese was perfect too . Highly recommend. This restaurant is real!!

Great place. Great steaks and crab cakes. Went there with 11 guys. BYOB. Had an amazing time.

Has to be the best steak ive ever had and if not it's definitely in the top 2. Cut was amazing. Surf and turf really hit the spot. I was surprised how good the calamari was for a steakhouse. We went to a highly rated Italian place two weeks ago and Wayne steakhouse had better calamari - go figure! Service was 5 stars. All other apps were also 5 stars. I really enjoyed our time at this place. I was a little shocked when the bill came since it's BYOB. Sometimes you just don't really look at prices and you are just pointing at things on menu and then the bill comes. All good though. They deserve every penny. I will return.

One of the best steakhouses in New Jersey. Everything about this place is amazing. Service is impeccable, Vllora makes sure you do not leave her place disappointed. Try the porterhouse it’s one of the best I have had. Wayne Steakhouse is the place to go for a boys night or family dinner!

We had a party of 9 for appetizers & steak dinner. The food was spectacular & the service was outstanding. All the appetizers were delicious. The steaks were cooked perfectly & the side were delicious. We finished the night with some espresso & coffee which was hot, fresh & delicious. We would highly recommend & can not wait to go back. The BYOB was perfect for our party of 9.

Top notch steak house , so if your looking for some cheap steak . This spot is definity not for you . Premium steak choices in a quite atmosphere , a hidden gem in wayne . Remember to bring your own bottle of wine.

Had an amazing experience at WS! The quality of the food was superb - tenderness of the ribeye, temperature and flavor! I also wanted to eat the bowl of the onion soup that had such depth of flavor. Most importantly is the service provided by Vlora who worked like a machine and was always smiling and you can taste her love of her establishment in the food. I can easily see this being a ritual for any special occasion, even if just a nice night out with the family.

I can not recommend the restaurant enough. The food is unbelievable. The steak melts in your mouth. Vlora, the owner, is absolutely lovely. It's BYOB.

Oysters weren’t fresh. But the waitress was really nice.
