We had a really lovely stay here on Saturday night. We had booked for the Murder Mystery Stay, it was very well organised and such fun. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, also the grounds are stunning. We had such a warm welcome from the man on the desk (Italian) who was very helpful & pleasant. We were on the ground floor, with a door going outside. The room looked very new and was so clean. Nice touch having a small bottle of fresh milk in the fridge. We did have an evening meal & breakfast with our booking. Both meals were gorgeous and very tasty & well presented. The breakfast room is outstanding, with a view over the lawns.Checkout was simple and we had a very friendly lady on leaving the hotel. All in all a fabulous stay and would definitely return. A wedding here must be spectacular.

I have photographed and videoed a few weddings here over the years now, every time I am here the Event host has such great character, and the staff are always so kind to me! They feed me well, and look after me, with places to put my gear, and help make the working experience pleasant, which in turn helps the couple to just enjoy themselves knowing they are in good hands!

We stayed in the Winston Churchill suite, and it was amazing, a huge bathroom with a roll-top bath, breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and a really comfy bed. Some great woodland walks straight from the hotel, also Ashdown Forest is a short drive away. The staff were very welcoming and attentive (and a little eccentric). Would definitely recommend breakfast on the terrace if weather allows and would definitely return.

Visited the hotel for a meeting and I was very impressed with how professional and helpful the receptionist was. I asked her about the history of the place and she had literature waiting for me after my appointment. Beautiful building with stunning gardens that are dog friendly. I look forward to visiting again. Stunning place, highly recommend!

I had my wedding at Buxted Park Hotel on the 23rd of June this year. We booked the venue in March 2022 and we have kept in touch with Holly and Gemma throughout during several on-site visit and emails regarding the hundreds of questions I had trying to plan the suppliers etc. We stayed at the venue the night before the wedding which I really recommend doing if possible as I could see how much they were doing behind the scenes to make sure everything went to plan which helped me relax before the big day. Mark our Master of Ceremonies was the most passionate person I’ve ever met. He talked through ceremony options with us the night before and accommodated last minute change of direction. Mark, Jack and Rob helped us loads the night before the wedding with set up which meant I had nothing to stress about and I had a great nights sleep. On the Morning Mark and Jack were back onsite to start running the day both went above and beyond to make us feel relaxed and looked after our every need, making coffee and running pastries up to the bridesmaids as they hadn’t had time to eat, treating our guests like they’d met them 100 times before. Everyone commented on their service as well as the rest of the staff at Buxted. Mark and Jack also jumped in to action setting up the ceremony decor on one of the hottest days in their suits after our decor suppliers were hours late and the ceremony had to be delayed. They did everything the could to make sure it was perfect before we started. The venue is 10/10 stunning, the food was 10/10 including the evening burrito choice which was a winner, the rooms were immaculate and the suites are just out of this world. Our day would not have been the same without the team at Buxted, there is not one thing I would change. We can’t wait to come back to celebrate our anniversary every year.

Visited for Afternoon tea with my friend. The staff were lovely, made the experience really nice. Food was fantastic and although a rainy day we loved having a seat by the window. Really nice and will be back!

We attended Buxted Park for a corporate off-site and would highly recommend. Food and facilities provided throughout the day for meetings were excellent as was our three course dinner and breakfast in The Orangery restaurant. Staff very attentive and helpful. Will definitely return.

Lovely hotel! Staff were so attentive and helpful! The hotel is decorated very nicely, and the grounds are beautiful! They even have a snooker table that ia free to use!

Me and my partner went for the afternoon tea for my birthday and it was amazing! The food was absolutely delicious and plenty of it, we couldnt even finish it all but was given a box to take the rest home. We loved the homemade scones and orange blossom tea! The service from beginning to end was fantastic, very attentive and friendly and I was even given a surprise birthday plate with some chocolates and a birthday card! Would highly recommend this place and will be coming back!

A lovely hotel in beautiful grounds. Staff were great, we had dinner there which was amazing. Rooms nice and clean, especially the suites. Only complaint is the bathrooms are very dated.

We enjoyed visiting Buxted Park to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we were warmly welcomed on arrival and were allocated room 26. The room was very comfortable and quiet and overlooked the extensive grounds. Thank you so much for the card and chocolates that were appreciated. We had dinner in the restraunt and a big thank you to Marc and Jean who are both funny,helpful,friendly and run the restaurant like clockwork. Credit must go to the chef and kitchen staff who provided our meals that were of excellent quality quantity and presentation. We loved our visitvand Buxted is very special with staff who really care about people. We are already looking forward to another stay.

We have just had our wedding at Buxted Park and it couldn't have been better. The staff on the day were incredible and a special mention to Jack who couldn't do enough for us both. He was there at the tasting and then again on the day. Our guests said it was the best wedding they've been to. The location is perfect and the fact we could have our guests stay the night was so important to us. Everything was perfect. If I had to be picky the air con unit was quite loud and went off every 10min. I was told this was the case for most of the suites. Otherwise it was everything we hoped for a more.

I photographed a wedding there last week and fell in love with the venue, simply stunning! The gardens surrounding the house is beautiful, so many lovely spots for photos. The staff were all great as well.

We recently married at Buxted Park. The wedding co-ordinator (Gemma) was outstanding throughout. She was calm, professional and organised. She actually took over much of the stress caused by our awful wedding planner and totally saved the day. The staff at the wedding were outstanding. I don't know all the names but Marc, Phil, Duncan - you know you you are and who was working on that day! The wedding is a well oiled machine and you feel Buxted are always in total control, but at the same time the ambience is totally personalised and you feel like you are spending the day with friends. We had the best time!!

Beautiful hotel, the service is excellent and the food was really nice. We went for a wedding and everything was good. Friendly staff. Very please, I couldn't ask for more.

We treated ourselves to afternoon tea and were not disappointed. This was the third time, previous visits before Covid, and each time the sandwiches, cakes, scones and tea were fabulous 👌 Always too much to eat so we had a takeaway box for later.

What a beautiful hotel. The rooms are magnificent, the public rooms and bars are lovely, the grounds are amazing. Went for a wedding and every staff member was extremely attentive. Vegan food was excellent. Service was very good, even making up an extra dessert for someone. The only slight downside was the price of drinks at the bar...very expensive.

A lovely hotel set in a deer park. Ideally situated for exploring Sussex and west Kent. We stayed here 6 years ago. Since then, a lot of investment has been made. The hotel has been painted inside and out. The staff are really friendly, and the food is gorgeous.

Beautiful, stunning venue for our wedding. Buxted Park staff was absolutely amazing, professional and friendly, my husband and I cannot fault them at all. Gemma, our wedding coordinator was very helpful and ensured that our wedding day went smoothly. Marc, our toastmaster was absolutely amazing! Marc added so much atmosphere to the wedding that all of our guests loved him. If we could replay our wedding day all over again at Buxted Park Hotel, my husband and I would do it in a heartbeat. The best day ever!

Didn't stay but visited as a guest.venue seemed very nice and food was good. The reason I have taken a star off is the barmen who were arguing and swearing at each other in full view and hearing of the guests. I accept it was very busy but that was not acceptable especially as it continued for at least an hour. Other than that it was a very nice place and well presented.

Attended a wedding on 26th August 2022 and it was fabulous. Lovely staff, lovely food, perfect night's sleep. Wonderful breakfast. Beautiful grounds to sit in in peace and quiet. Couldn't fault it.

We attended a wedding here a few weeks ago. The venue was absolutely gorgeous and set in a beautiful location. The staff were all extremely polite and attentive, and the master of ceremony provided by the venue made the wedding that little bit better with his sense of humour and professionalism.

Beautiful hotel set in stunning grounds. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. But watch out for the bar prices, pint of beer is reasonable but if you drink spirits then the prices are a bit steep 🍺

Absolutely fabulous afternoon tea. Plenty to eat/drink, beautifully served and presented and more importantly it tasted amazing! The only downside, which was not the hotel's fault in anyway, was that we were the only people in the hotel so it therefore lacked atmosphere as it was deathly quiet. That said, it didn't stop us enjoying our tea - we were even provided with a take-home box for the items we didn't manage to eat. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend a visit, well worth it.

Lovely hotel in a fantastic setting. We attended a wedding recently and stayed the night of the wedding. The rooms were great, the service was exceptional and the wedding meal and breakfast were excellent. What stopped me giving it a 5 star rating was that they would not serve the lamb without mushroom sauce and the bar prices were extortionate to say the least.
