OMG… firstly lets talk about the shop, its small but stunning inside, its almost like walking in to an aquarium. The staff are attentive and helpful, they took care of all our needs. So I am a huge fish and chips fan but very fussy! I grew up in the black country so I know good fish when I see one! This has to be the most crunch and amazing batter, the fish smelt and tasted fresh. You need that crunch when taking a bite, first comes the crunch followed by soft juicy fish. Don’t forget to add some salt & vinegar, its an obligation to have mushy peas and curry sauce! Along with tartare sauce, a little bit of mayo and ketchup. Its a fine balance between all these flavours as the chips will be dancing in your mouth. It reminded me of a good old chip shop from back in the days! But this time the quality was unmatched. I will be honest I will be going back for another bite of that fish! If you haven’t been yet…. What are you waiting for? Go catch some fish!

Awful food last night! Fish was good quality but the batter and chips had been fried in oil that was clearly old (the place smelt of old oil) peas were so salty that they couldn’t be eaten. Terrible waste of money for me - I had to throw it all away. It’s really gone down hill.

We ate in and the battered haddock was lovely, sadly I can't say the same for the chips which were very average and just warm - probably because they had been fried a good 10-20 minutes earlier. I would recommend frying chips in smaller batches so that customers chips are always served piping hot. This location also has free parking in the car park directly outside it (just remember to add your registration to the machine).

Fish was amazing!! Chips not so great, some were a bit undercooked and hard but would deffo try it again as the fish itself was really good. Hopefully the chips a bit better next time but I would recommend for the fish alone! Gives the Black Country museum fish shop a run for its money

Inside the shop was bright and clean. Staff very polite. We had fish,chips,curry sauce and gravy. Fish was cooked to perfection,the batter was the best I've had for years. Chips were big and chunky and again cooked to perfection. Curry sauce and the the gravy were acceptable.

Nice and clean. Fish was amazing however some of the chips were slightly undercooked. The ones that were cooked were crisp and fresh. Curry sauce was lovely too. I wanted to give a 4 star for the undercooked chips however Cleo, the girl that served us, pushed it up to a 5. She was serving a busy shop, bringing food out to customers at their tables, manning the phone, taking orders and did it all with a smile and so efficiently too. Great service Cleo. Delicious Fish&Chips, good quality cod with a crisp and golden batter! Service is just as amazing as the food! Would absolutely recommend!! 10/10

Took my parents here and the food was delicious!! We ordered 2 fish and chips along with dips and curry sauce. For £6.95 you get a big sized fish and chunky chips. Dips and curry sauce were all nice too. It's definitely an experience eating here and i will definitely be coming back here! If you love fish and chips you've got to visit this place. Service was brilliant here also. Catered to our every need happily. 10/10.

This is my 12th chip shop, to be very honest food is different and is nice, but price is not justified, its almost double the price has normal chip shop. There is no option for mini fish and chips. you are forced to have large fish and chips which was £8.95 each, then £1.25 add on mushy peas, That's £10.20 per person, considering the area which not popular, id say run down, price is not right, This is wrong. Also chips was over cooked, also we had tummy aches, staff at the back was not very friendly was not very professional at all. Very over rated.

My first visit to this chippy and the food was fantastic. We waited for the food for over half and hour as they were busy serving the phone and delivery orders. We were the only people in the chip shop so I would have expected to be served pretty quickly but this wasn't the case.

Motherrrrrr hubbarrrrrrds walsall. Fresh fish made while u wait. Pipping hot. Friendly staff. Ash the face of the shop always smiling and friendly and welcomes u always like you've known Him for years. The traditional fish and chip taste what you would normally find and taste by the seaside. No faults highly recommended.

Best fish and chips in town! The quality of their fish was outstanding, fresh cooked always, flaky, and perfectly cooked with a crispy batter that is simply divine. Great service from Ash!
