Would give 10 stars if I could!!! Forget all the fancy smshancy restaurants where you pay an arm and a leg for a small Plate of good looking but tasteless food. Pleck balti is our favourite Bengali restaurant. Chefs concentrate on quality of food and fairly priced dishes. Highly recommend to all for a variety of Currys and flavours.

07/11/20. Ordered food from this restaurant normal chicken Balti and pilau rice. The wait was rather long 1 hour 50 minutes, the restaurant was super busy when called but arrived when they said it would after the original estimated delivery time. Rather hungry at this point so I dished out my food and tucked in. As I'm about to take my second mouthful I find a piece of plastic in the Balti sauce which was really disappointing because of how hungry I was. Mistakes happen but this is a food safety issue. (food tasted good though hence the 3 stars)

Love the food from this place! Its been a family favourite for years. First time i've actually dined in as i usually have it delivered. Friendly, welcoming staff. Will be returning soon

Food out of jars taste 1000% better than “chef” cooked offerings in the restaurant. Highly disappointed! Chicken was rock solid! I’ve had much better Indian meals in English pubs. Shocking really as this place isn’t exactly new. Also employ some staff so groups can at least get some service. Literally had to flag them down for every little thing, they asked or offered nothing. Complete waste of money & ruined what was meant to be a birthday celebration.

12th January 23. Always excellent food here and once again very impressive . The staff are very good and cannot do enough for you . If you want a good curry house .,this is the place Another great curry with friends ,cannot fault this place

Very good food, staff are always really polite and helpful. Really well priced. Down side is parking this is due to location but would highly recommend a visit.

Lovely place, but it was so cold.. I did mention it to a staff member who then brought over a fan heater for me. (Other diners wore their coats!) The food was really nice, I had a chicken tikki biriyani, but there was hardly any chicken, which was disappointing. Be aware of its cash only and bring your own alcohol (not sure if there's a corkage charge)

We have had meals from here before always good and tasty, unfortunately our meal tonight was disapointing. Same meal ordered as usual..nan bread was lovely, free poppadoms also lovely, masala chips were awful looked like they had been left over from a previous serving and reheated awful .chicken in curry had no taste..such a shame usually a very nice meal.

Food is nice. But when you tell them to make it spicy they never ever make it spicy? I have been there 4 times recently and they never make the food spicy. You ask for a vindaloo and they give you something that's not even madras. Much rather sweet. Waste of money. I have ordered and sat inside 4 times within 2 weeks and the food is lovely but they never ever make you a spicy dish. Its so annoying. I am the customer. I want it spicy. You don't choose how I want my food. You make the food how i want it to be or I will not order again. Very stupid chef or waiter. If you want something spicy don't go!! Ps I am not Caucasian.. I am south Asian. So we thrive on spice! Absolutely stupid and waste of money but yes if you like it mild then it's the one for you.

Nice to see familiar face's after so long but once again great food and happy service, this is a well established business which thrives on good produce.

Always come here with the family when we visit Walsall. Shar and team are always friendly, helpful and the food is really good. No Alcohol can be bought here however they are happy for you to bring your own and they will open it for you.

Amazing food and service - couldn't be more pleased! Our waiter was so attentive and the food was very flavourful. We had the king prawns in the Balti special and the prawns very big and the lamb in the bryani was very tender. Will definitely come back!

Amazing service over the phone. Amazing delivery service too. They forgot one item but once I made them aware of it, the driver was back within 20 minutes. Lovely manners and amazing food. Highly recommend.
