The
receptionist
I
experienced
today
was
incredibly
rude
and
abrupt.
The
most
unprofessional
and
unfriendly
service
i’ve
ever
received.
This
was
my
first
(and
last)
visit
here.
I
witnessed
her
speak
to
a
waiting
patient
with
such
dismissal
and
disrespect.
The
patient
had
obviously
been
waiting
a
while
and
asked
how
much
longer
she
would
have
to
wait,
the
rude
receptionist
answered
“you’re
not
the
only
patient
the
Dr
has
to
see,
so
he’ll
call
you
when
he’s
ready”.
The
lady
walked
off
clearly
embarrassed
by
her
response.
Then
the
receptionist
answered
the
phone,
and
came
across
patronising
to
the
person
on
the
end
of
the
line,
“no
we
can’t
help
you,
we’ve
just
taken
on
3000
patients
and
we
can’t
handle
them
let
alone
adding
another
patient
to
that”
she
continued
to
be
rude
then
ended
the
call.
Then
it
was
my
turn
to
receive
her
“customer
service”
she
asked
the
dr
I
am
seeing
today,
as
i’m
not
a
patient
here
(thankfully)
I
didn’t
have
a
record
of
the
doctor
i’m
seeing,
I
just
gave
her
my
name
and
DoB.
She
responded
“well
if
you
don’t
know
who
it
is
your
seeing
how
am
I
supposed
to
know”
taken
a
back
by
her
abruptness
I
explained
I
was
here
for
an
ultrasound
and
haven’t
been
given
a
Drs
name.
Again
that
was
received
with
attitude
and
she
said
“exactly,
so
your
hear
for
an
ultrasound
so
you
need
to
just
go
and
sit
down
over
there”
That
obviously
didn’t
go
down
too
well
with
me
and
had
a
few
choice
words
for
her.
If
it
wasn’t
for
her
I
must
say
upon
having
my
ultrasound
the
staff
I
dealt
with
there
after
were
very
helpful
and
polite
but
just
a
shame
that
the
person
on
the
front
desk
lets
the
surgery
down.
Unfortunately
I
didn’t
get
her
name
but
she
was
an
older
and
big
lady
with
glasses.
