The select fresh veggies in the shop when ripened are thoughtfully used in the restaurant kitchen to create varied regional cuisines. I had South African dish today. The leftover sauces are vacuum packed and sold in recyclable glass jars that customers bring back for a refill next time or get back the caution money for the jar. There is minimum wastage. Fresh grains, cereals also detergents can be bought in reusable containers. The store also promotes artistic handmade articles like baskets, cotton hand embroidered bags, etc from local artists and suppliers. There is a thoughtful corner with books for kid’s who visit the restaurant and cozy little garden space. I met Marcel the owner out of curiosity and I was not surprised to find a kind hearted human being in him. He handed me this post card with a painting of the store made by his neighbor 😊. I highly recommend Pure Note for their thoughtfulness and caring attitude which reflects in their cuisine.
