Absolutely wonderful guesthouse: very friendly welcome, good food, spacious room with AC and secure parking. They also did our laundry very well. Wish could stay longer!

We had a great couple of nights here. Clean, tidy, comfortable bed, large room. Highlight was Aunties cooking. Old school. Real Sri Lankan taste. Very special. A notch above most restaurants.

This place was fabulous, and our host was just great. She could not do enough for us, and her daughters cooked the most wonderful dinners and breakfasts. Feels like you're living in one of those Sri Lankan villages, because you are. There's even a primary school next door. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Pretty good value too. One of the best places we stayed in Sri Lanka, definitely recommended. Maybe arrange your elephant safari elsewhere for the best value, but stay at Weaver Bird.

A home away from home. Absolutely spotless and spacious room and the food granny is cooking is the best I had in 5 weeks Sri Lanka. And it is plenty, so no complaints about price. Sachi is anwering all your questions, from transport to sights worth seeing to cultural differences. I very much enjoyed talking to him. Enjoyed our stay throughout. We stayed in this place for two nights and were able to cover Sigriya and polornurwa comfortably. The host Mr Sharath, is an extremely gracious and caring person. From helping us planning our days to serving us some really authentic srilanka breakfast and dinners, he was wonderful. The rooms are clean and well maintained. It's quiet and away from the road. We walked around and explored the place on our own and we loved it. You can hear lot of birds. Point to note: Do let Mr Sharath know in advance if you are coming for dinner, in case he doesn't make dinner you'll be stuck with a really overpriced restaurant and terrible food across the street.

Margerat and her husband made our stay comfortable. They made us feel like home. Thier grand son were always assisting us. He even arranged us a low price pick up from the Airport. We will difinately come again and recommend this place for every one. A must place to stay in Habarana.

We had a lovely few nights here. Fantastic local food and even an impromptu cooking class. A really fantastic place to stay. Highly recommended!

This is a very nice place, clean, fair price, good breakfast and nicely arranged. There are 4 rooms to rent in the villa and separate nice house 🏡 that is the kitchen with a balcony where meals can be served.

We have stayed 17th and 18th Dec 2022. 7 pax full board basis. Superb place. Maels are excellent. BBQ dinner full of various dishes. Antys way of serving remember mother at home. Everyone one was very happy ❤️❤️🙏🙏
