Only
discovered
this
lovely
place
after
many
visits
to
the
surrounding
area
over
many
years.
Great
views,
great
beer!
Great
for
all
the
family,
old
and
young.
One
occasion
I
walked
through
the
forest
from
Ammerbuch
expecting
to
enter
the
Schloss
through
the
back
gate
which
that
day,
unusually,
was
locked.
I
decided
to
discreetly
climb
over
the
wall.
I
did
so
quite
easily
and
dropped
silently
into
the
lovely
grounds
in
the
best
James
Bond
style
(he
is
from
Liverpool).
As
I
hit
the
soft
ground
on
the
inner
side,
I
noticed
a
lot
of
people
working
in
the
grounds.
Most
of
them
were
staring
at
me
with
open
mouths.
In
my
broken
German,I
asked
why
the
gate
was
locked
to
learn
that
the
Schloss
was
closed.
Being
a
master
of
embarrassment,
I
left
the
place
with
the
requisite
British
sang
froid.
Britannia
Waives
the
Rules.
