Wir waren zum zweiten Mal in einem Themenzimmer mit Übernachtung, Frühstück und Rittermahl am Abend. Wie auch das erste Mal war es ein wundervolles Wochenende, mit ausgesprochen gutem Service. Da wir schon so früh angereist waren und unser Zimmer schon fertig war durften wir sogar um 10:30 Uhr satt um 15:00 Uhr das Zimmer beziehen. Das ganze Hotel hat ein wundervolles Ambiente . Die Mischung aus modern und mittelalterlich ist wundervoll gelungen. Alles sehr sauber. Das Rittermahl wiedermal ein Erlebnis mit super freundlichem Service, man wartet trotz vieler Gäste keine 5 Minuten um ein neues Getränk zu bekommen. Überaus reichliches leckeres Rittermahl über 3 Std die sich auf jeden Fall lohnen. Den nächsten Morgen krönte dann das Frühstück. Das beste Frühstücksbuffet welches ich je hatte. Top Qualität, wahnsinnige Auswahl, für jeden was dabei. Vielen herzlichen Dank Wir kommen wieder!!!

Eins vorweg, hierbei handelt es sich um ein wirklich sehr schönes Hotel, welches mit viel Liebe zum Detail hergerichtet wurde ❤ Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir sehr ❤-lich Begrüßt und bekamen sogar ein kostenfreies Upgrade zu unserem Zimmer. Die Lage ist angenehm ruhig und gut zu erreichen. Fußläufig erreicht man schnell die Innenstadt, wo eine sehr schöne Kirche wartet. Da wir mit Rittermahl gebucht hatten, erwartete dies uns ab 19h. Auch hier ein Vortrefflicher Mundschenk, der es verstand mit Witz und Charme die Gäste gut durch den Abend zu führen. Das Essen sehr lecker und durchaus für die Völlerei gedacht. Klare Empfehlung und ein Erlebnis, was positiv in Erinnerung bleiben wird bei Groß & Klein ❤

First and foremost, I do not partake in Live Action Role Play (LARP). Upon booking the hotel, I was nervous about the medieval theme, but looked forward to the 4-course candlelight dinner. We spent time at the Bodensee and stayed at Hotel Arthur before returning home. I am glad we decided to stay at this hotel. Newly renovated, we walked into the hotel and fresh herbs and citrus aroma was lightly in the air emitting a clean, fresh scent. We proceeded to check in and the service at the front desk was kind, inviting, and personable. The medieval theme was present, but with an air of elegance and no LARPers in sight. The room was tastefully done with a medieval theme and classic designs. The room was impeccably clean (as was the bathtub) and the turn down service included Toblerone and a fresh bottle of water. There were many nice toiletries including bath salts. We requested robes and slippers at the front desk, which were provided with a smile. We went for our four course meal and the hostess kindly informed us the chefs in training had the kitchen for the evening. The dinner was served in a separate room next to the lobby (which was described as the lobby), which was nicely decorated with apothecary cabinets and nice tables. So, don't be taken aback when they describe it that way... it was actually one of the nicest dining rooms in the hotel. The meal was good, but the server kept forgetting our order and when she brought something it was wrong. It could have been the stress of managing the trainees, but I did notice other guests had the same problem. The creme brule was more of a unflavoured custard and I noticed a lack of vanilla flavour, despite the five specks of black on the bottom of the dish. This was a change request as the menu included a desert called Nun farts. Drinks were not included in the dinner, but were had for a fair price. The bed was comfortable and the room was quite cozy, though we had the heat off (this might be because of in floor heating), and quiet despite being next to the parking lot. I didn't expect much for the included breakfast, but was happily surprised to see a beautiful spread of yogurts, vegan friendly items, freshly made eggs and bacon, fresh juices, and an upscale coffee machine for made to order coffee. This hotel is an excellent choice for families and couples! Thanks for the wonderful experience.

Tolles Hotel mit eine einzigartigen Atmosphäre! Alle Details sind auf einander abgestimmt! Frühstück richtig gut mit alles was das Herz begehrt! Das Restaurant hat auch eine Sessionale Karte, das Essen war hervorragend! Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Vielen Dank, dass dieser Aufenthalt unsere Hochzeit perfekt abgerundet hat!

Hotel with Historical sense. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Dinner in Hotel Arthus restaurant was a good experience.

Sehr schönes Hotel - nicht nur für Mittelalterfans. Die Zimmer sind alle samt liebevoll und detailreich gestaltet. Wir hatten das Turmzimmer mit Wirpool-Badewanne. Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen um die anderen Zimmer zu erleben. Wir wurden selten so liebevoll empfangen und betreut. Das Personal ist durchweg sehr freundlich und sympathisch. Das Essen war dann der absolute Höhepunkt. Ich kann mich nicht erinnern wann wir das letzte mal in einem so guten Restaurant waren. Großes Lob an das gesamte Personal, man merkt das hier mit Herz gearbeitet wird. Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Aufenthalt.

Eigentlich 5 Sterne, weil Service und Freundlichkeit Top sind. Ein Hotel mit Ambiente zu diesem Thema und tollen Keller zum Rittermal, wobei auch die Gaststätte sehr gemütlich ist. Ein Stern Abzug, da das Ritteressen ohne Getränke schon einen hohen Grundpreis hat. Wenigsten zwei-drei Getränke sollten inkludiert sein. Wir sind alle satt geworden, aber die Vielfalt an Fleisch hätte etwas reichhaltiger sein dürfen. Aber klar, ist Kritik auf hohem Niveau Mit Essen und Übernachtung sind das schnell fast 200 Euro zusammen für eine Person.

Ein mit Liebe und Stil gepflegtes Hotel. Einfach wunderbar für eine Auszeit mit meiner lieben Frau. Besten Dank an das ganze Team wo uns drei Tage verwöhnt hat. Wir haben es genossen.

Sehr schönes, liebevoll eingerichtetes Hotel. Ein tolles Frühstücksbuffet und auch sonst lässt die Küche nichts zu wünschen übrig. Das Rittermahl im Gewölbekeller ist mit dem ganzen drum und dran ein Erlebnis für große und kleine Gäste. Der einzige Minuspunkt ist der im Hinterhof gelegene Getränkemarkt, die samstags morgen(und leider dieses Wochenende auch am Sonntag wegen dem Schlossfest) schon um 07.00 Uhr einen Höllen Lärm macht und Paletten und Getränkekisten rum schmeißen.

Ein tolles Hotel mit noch tolleren Zimmern. Die Themenzimmer hatten ein ganz besonderes Flair. Schon bei der Ankunft sah man freundlich lächelnde Damen hinter dem Tresen. Das Frühstück war einfach super. Die Kinder waren glücklich. Einzig, beim Rittermal war es sehr laut. Man konnte das eigene Wort nicht verstehen. Hab ich aber auch gesagt. Das Essen war allerdings originell und gut. Im großen und ganzen ein gelungenes Wochenende

Love this place, stay here for work a couple of times a year...is mad quirky and never stayed anywhere like it. On this occasion my room was rather warm and struggled to cool it but didn't stop me having a good nights sleep...even if the church bells woke me up at 6am. If your ever have the opportunity to stay here, do it.

Special atmosphere. Kings, Queens and Knights of the middle ages meet in a historic location. Gourmet cuisine.

Ritterkeller was an amazing Renaissance like restaurant. Our host had a great personality and sense of humor. Had a lot of fun.

Amazing experience with incredible atmosphere. We stayed in the family themed room. My son was so happy....Strongly recommended!

Did not really stay at the hotel but had dinner at the in-house Restaurant. Got a table without reservation even though it was rather crowded. The service was immaculate and the food likewise. Would recommend this restaurant anytime.

What an absolute treat to be taken here. This is no Medieval Times. This dining experience is authentic & classy. Bring your friends & family & your appetite!! Very friendly & colourful staff bring this place alive. It’s communal seating so say hi to to your neighbours & have a blast. The food was plentiful, delicious & served with style. The beer & mead are very tasty & flows like water. The “halftime” show was spectacular, try get a seat in the middle of the hall for the best views. Facilities are modern & spotless. Parking was no problem & plentiful. I can’t wait to put my bib back on & tuck in again.

Absolutely loved our stay. The room was spacious and incredibly clean. The staff were very friendly and the food (both dinner and breakfast) was delicious. We will definitely stay here again. I wish there was a little more to do in the immediate area, but Bodensee is a beautiful 50-min drive away, easy access to many areas for a day trip.
