One of the most powerful experiences I ever had. This is a real Ayurvedic house run by a local family. The place is in the middle of the jungle surrounded by nature and animals. I did the cleaning treatment including Body massage, Shirodara and plant medicine. I would definitely recommend it. Thank you very much Lansatha and family ♡ I will always remember you.

Highly recommend! I did a 5 day cleanse which was amazing. It started off with a consultation with an Ayurvedic doctor to determine the best treatment plan for my condition; as well as diet and lifestyle recommendations. The program included at least 3 Ayurvedic treatments per day-Shirodhara, head massage, full body massage, herbal baths, fomentation massage, and herbal nasal steam as well as breakfast, lunch, herbal medicines and herbal teas. All of the massages were fantastic and the food was delicious and every meal was different; incredible variety! Everything was very professional and any concerns or questions I had were addressed. This is not a luxury spa experience but you will feel well cared for and respected. They are true healers! I am very grateful 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Bonus—the price is really reasonable!

Visiting Arthreya Ayurveda was by far the higlight of my trip to SriLanka. It was a quick drive from our accommodation in Weligama. The drive there felt almost "otherworldly" as you head up the jungle path to Lasantha's spa location. I had elevated blood pressure and cholesterol and Lesantha arranged for me to see an Ayurvedic doctor who came to consult with me on site. On a recent visit to my GP back home, all of my health markers are now in the normal range! I did a 7-day course of massages and baths that had me so relaxed and at peace. It would end with herbal baths outside in the jungle, sometimes spotting a cheeky monkey, or eagle in the trees above. But mostly it was the deep level of care and professionalism showed by Lesantha and his assistant Lesanthe that made me feel so nurtured and healed. I must admit that the guy knows how to massage, but everything else was at least unprofessional. During my oil treatment I had to listen to the sounds of YouTube news coming from the other room . No fan (at least the minimum ) in the room - therefore instead of concentrating on the sensations , I was almost bitten by🦟 nearly 100 times. Again... May be for a massage and another treatments where he is fully involved in the process it would be a good experience, but for me I regretted waisting my time n money

The owner Lesante is a kind soul who helped my wife and I by treating us to an amazing herbal bath, a must try, and also fed us after other treatments with an amazing vegetable curry lunch. This is a place if you want to heal. If you are looking for luxury wellness, you need to go somewhere else. I already knew a bit about ayurveda and I was hoping to find treatments that would help me with my symptoms. I had a doctor consultation before and then a full day with Shirodhara, massage, inhalation and herbal bath. I have to admit the process for me was quite unpleasant, but mostly because there were many things that needed to be adressed (internal heat, trauma release etc). But even just a couple hours later, I felt like a new person. I can only imagine what a continues treatment (Panchakarma of 5-14 days) could do. I am already thinking about when I can come back and commit to my healing journey. This one day was squeezed into my vacation plans with my boyfriend. Lesantha is amazing in what he does. Very knowledgeable and eager to help. He can sense and feel whatever it is you‘re struggling with. He might appear a big rough in his treatments, but as mentioned before he is there to help you heal. It‘s not a relaxing spa experience, however you won‘t regret going there!

Awesome! It’s close to the center, yet in a very quite and peaceful place. I came with a coughing problem after going to traditional medical centers in Sri Lanka, and my cough didn’t stop for 2 months. Medications weren’t helping. Doctor did special massage to open my lungs, then some hot herbs, then some oils, powder, inhalation. And after 1.5h of treatment all the mucus started coming out. I’ll come two more times to complete the treatment, but I’m already feeling better after one time. Thank you! Highly recommend!

I have been in Sri Lanka for two weeks and go for a massage and herbal bath every few days on my rest days after surfing. The massages are perfect for my sore Muscles and the herbal bath melts all the tension away. I highly recommend shirodhara if you suffer from headaches and tension in the head. It takes you to another dimension. The location is incredible peaceful and the doctor is so very kind and caring.

I came here for a massage. Got well met and treated by Lasantha. He made me a special treatment for my knee which I recently had undergo surgery with. I was looking for an excellent Ayurvedic centre in the south of Sri Lanka. Something that is not just about massage but an honest Ayurvedic approach. I found it in Arthrea Ayurveda. I love their complex procedure, including full body massage, shirodhara, inhalation a herbal bath. I took it several times in three weeks, surprised by the effect. It's like after a car overhaul. I feel ten years younger and lost almost 20 kg. Unbelievable. I am ready to run the following years of my life with whole new energy. Thanks to people from Arthrea Ayurveda.

He made me feel very uncomfortable because he was touching me in very intimate ways. It was my first massage so I didn't know how to react! He knows what he is doing and that it's wrong. Very rough hands and not nice in the evening bc mosquito
