Home-type caring and support; comfortable and open; kids to seniors...all in the Sri Lankan tradition with Damith as your host (a gem as resilient as a sapphire).

It’s a beautiful traditional home. Loved the inner courtyard with Coy Fish pond. The room is a bit dark, but these old homes are built to keep the heat out. The room was comfy with a nice Bathroom. Located just outside the touristy beach area, you get a feel of being in a village..

Weligama house by foozo invited us to do a hotel review. Hotel surrouding and the structure of the hotel was very beautiful. Rooms were big and its a good place to hang out with family and friends.
But the management and their service was very poor. They were asked us to check-in for lunch, but they have not even prepared lunch for us. We came to tge hotel all the way from colombo and we were bit dissapointed. They have served us dinner and breakfast, food was delicious and it was almost like home made.
Rooms were big but and comfortable. But during our stay there was a rat in our room and we couldn't even sleep peoperly. We informed to the management but at that time they didnt care it much.
We were invited to do a hotel review, but they were not prepared at all.
Apart from above, hotel has a beautiful surrounding.

Did a booking and had to cancel in advance due to current Covid situation in the country. They refused to refund the money(LKR 40,000). It's not the same friendless when it comes to refund and stuff. Never recommend to anyone.

It’s a place which has outstanding housekeeping and serving of authentic food nutritiously. This is my second stay at weligama foozoo and its all different and improved amenities and rooms arrangements. I like that colonial look and wooden floors and stairs. Specially with a friendly and humble staff who really giving a good care for the place and the visitors. Me and my friends mostly enjoyed by the pool and the front terrace area and further liked the atmosphere created at the middle terrace with the pond. The food they served guaranteed treat for tempted Sri Lankan taste buds and a irresistible meal make. Place is surrounded with walking distance convenient stores and groceries. And to highway and the beach is quick drive aways. Really nice of providing the bbq machine for our need which made rid of our hassle to carry one. Loved the privacy and the attentive service they provided and recommend to any who like a place for a city escape, relaxed vibe and down south centric place feels like home.

No hot water in bath tub upstairs. And water leaking from tum when draining. Dirty sofas at living area. Other wise good. Cozy atmosphere. Friendly helpful staff. Clean linen and towels

Enjoyed a great time down at the Weligama House by Foozoo with its beautiful energy. Make sure you try out the poolside BBQ and check out their Sunday Sundowners. Chilled place that is 'happy' friendly, welcomes pets and people of all hues and identities.

Beautiful and colonial house with comfortable, attractive furnishings. Wonderfully quiet, but walking to the beach is a tough walk because of the high location.
