It is one of the sea life experience in my life. We were in a group there and I must say it was breath taking adventure. If you dont like the smell of fish you can cover your nose but if you are in Sri Lanka and if you get some time you must be there. All fresh fishes are there right behind the sea and if you are brave enough take a boat and go deep into the sea where you can feel how close you are to death just y one mistake of the boatman or you can enjoy the raw nature with Genuine beauty of sea with giant sea kings.

Fun place to explore. The entrance is 100lkr. There are a lot of boats, yachts and some funny-looking catamarans. And the smell is horrible :) Enjoyed the walk here anyway :)

A very busy port with whale watching excursions and fishing boats. Excursions to see Blue, Fin whales and dolphins. I saw a pair of Fin whales on my trip.

Popular fisheries harbour in southern province. Whale watching tours start from here. Gets very crowded and busy during morning hours. Limited parking space for customers who come for whale watching tours. Access road is narrow and gets blocked with fish lorries.

It’s a popular place for whales watching, because all boats and cruises are starting from here. Whales watching boats are leaving at 7.00am everyday. You should be there before that and get tickets from wildlife department office at just right side of main entrance.

You can buy fresh fish from here if you visit there in the early morning. You have to buy fish in whole and can get at lower price than in the market. Better to go with beforehand idea of the fish prices in the normal market.

Harbor is famous for whale watching boat start. All the boat starts from here to get you to whale watching. My suggestion is that you can go directly to the harbor and book whale watching ticket for cheap rate.

A nice place filled with fisherman's boats and Yachts that take travelers to enjoy see rides. The harbour has nice sea view in the early morning. We departed for whales and dolphin watching from this place.

Basically this is the place where whale watching Cruize will start at around 6.30 AM. It was like an adventure only because we need to experience roller coaster ride, Giant wheel ride, boat ride and many more rides. Stomach will shake a lot and lot will get vomiting too. Please before going don’t eat anything and the night before going also EAT LESS. The ride was of about 3 to 4 hrs and in this ride we can see lot of sea animals like dolphins, turtles and if we are lucky enough means we can see whales too. I haven’t seen but sometimes we can see. We can see the sea too close in the early morning and it was like a unique experience we can try for. For this tickets will be available online, offline, near to the boats and in the harbour too. Ride was only in the mornings and not in all other times. Overall it was a good feel…
