Lovely beach but be aware of the sea it can be deadly as it drags you in if u go out too far. Waves can be huge, hence why a lot of surfers love it here. Lively bars/restaurants and quite cheap for food and drinks. Really a nice beach with nice view, but so sad to say people throwing out so many garbages and lots of plastic things. It is not nice to see, otherwise the sourrounding and all is beautiful. Thank you . . . .

Mirissa Beach is a must see while visiting Sri Lanka! Beautiful sand, surfing waves, sea shells and coral pieces. Love the beach vibe, learn to surf, many restaurants line the beach. A piece of paradise!
