I took a open water diver class at Polhena diving center and was very happy with it. The instructor is friendly, helpful and very experienced which gives you good security, especially needed during the first dive. The owners of the school are lovely people, always providing you with food, water, tea and information. They also conduct beach and underwater clean-ups and all members of the crew took the garbage found underwater. I felt very comfortable and had a good class.

I passed my Advanced Open Water PADI certificate at Polhena. Loved it! Very professional and friendly staff, I felt in safe hands at all times. Special shout out goes to their diving instructor Paul who is probably one of the best you can find!

Awesome experience snorkeling for the first time, as a non swimmer I was initially little afraid, the instructor was pretty cool, showed us many marine life including few species of turtle . Overall I really enjoyed it

My friend and I did snorkeling and another friend did scuba diving. We all had such an amazing time!! The instructors, guides and workers were all so friendly and helpful. They prepared tea for us before and after our dive - it was really good tea! We saw huge sea turtles during our snorkel, it was amazing!!! I’ve done beginner dive at the Great Barrier Reef before and never got to see turtle so close!! After our dive, there is place available to shower. We highly recommend this dive shop to anyone!!!

I did four dives with Polhena Diving Center. The people are all very nice and the prices are fair. I have paid significantly more for my dives and the same service in Sri Lanka. Guru, my diving guide, was very attentive, experienced and almost caring underwater. I was lucky enough to have it all to myself during my dives. He showed me the beautiful underwater world and we really had a nice, chill time there underwater. You feel in good hands and cared for. The equipment is in great condition - so you can't go wrong diving with these guys. What's more: you're doing everything right and creating an unforgettable, beautiful holiday experience. Had very nice experience today. It has been a while since my last dive and they took the time to put me up to speed again. Very nice people and looking after you. Perfect experience. At my return we were offered tea, biscuits and bananas. 😎💪. Had a wonderful experience with them.

Did the Padi open water course here. He was a great center and director (Olivenzo). The atmosphere at the center was very friendly. The course took three days and included classroom instruction, pool training, 3 training dives and one fun dive in the sea. I recommend!

Went there for 4 dives. Really nice, friendly, and well organized. Great staff all locals, which means your money stays with locals. Equipment is not brand new but well maintained. Would definitely go there again.

I did my open water course at the center with Oli as my instructor. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience! Highly recommend this center for diving.

I had a great time snorkelling with Polhena diving center. Nana, the guide is very good in finding turtles and other fishes and knowledgeable. We found 2 turtles at Polhena beach even the visibility wasnt good that day. Chamile and Menaka are very nice, greeting with a warm welcome with great hospitality. Really recommend this place 🐢💚.

The diving center is definitely recommended. Did two dives at two different spots. Despite the sometimes strong current, we always felt safe with the Divemaster. The equipment was in very good condition.

Big thumbs up for Polhena Diving Centre! I did the PADI open water certification which was such an amazing experience. Ollie was a great teacher and I felt really safe and comfortable the entire time. It was so much fun and I could not recommend it more!

We had a great time in and out of the water with the team. The dive was really easy and beyond expectations in terms of fish sightings. The team is professional and very welcoming

I went to this diving center two times. For my first dive with them, my BCD broke and it was impossible to put some air in it. Dive Master exchange his BCD with mine and I was able to go for the second dive. Dives were ok with good visibility and beautiful fishes. Second dive was ok (but not so many fishes) except the engine of the boat who was broken. We had to wait at least for one hour another boat who came to rescue us. All the staff is pretty nice and kind but I can’t recommend because of bad equipment. Good point is the price.

Polhena diving center is great! The instructors are super experienced and fun to dive with :) Very warm people - they provided me with a case and stick for my gopro, and also gave us food and tea before and after the dive since we were starving! :D

Fantastic place to learn how to dive. I was very nervous and scared of the sea but Paul the instructor is fantastic and patient and now I really enjoy scuba diving Polhena Dive Centre have opened up a whole new world for me. All of the staff there are lovely!

Did a total of 7 dives - including OW Advanced. The team, guides and instructors are all very nice and competent. We felt comfortable and safe the whole time. The diving spots are also highly recommended.
