I can 100% recommend you to try surfing with Chutys surf school! Rashmika is an *amazing* teacher !! He always makes sure you feel safe and enjoy your time. I ended up taking lessons for 4 days because I loved it so much. (Wish I had had more time in fact 🥲) When I first started I was indeed a bit scared of the waves but rashmika explained to me how to read the waves and gave me so many tips on how to handle the board and the waves so that I wasn’t scared at all in the end. You geht all equipment, he even picked me up from my homestay and brought me back. Everything perfect! I would only come back to Sri Lanka in order to go surfing with rashmika - hopefully he will open surf camps soon 🙏 🤙 thanks chuty you made this trip for me so great !! 🏄‍♀️🏄🏾

Amazing! I had 1:1 surf lessons with chuty for many days in a row! He is super friendly and chilled and is a very good teacher. At the start he took the time to understand my surf level and explained to me to safety features of the beach. He showed me how to improve my technique and he was very good at showing me which waves to get and the right position to catch them from. I cannot recommend him enough!

Chuty took my surfing to the whole new level. He taught how to feel on the water - and that’s the most important thing. The mindset. It’s a game changer. I started to get big waves only by losing the fear and be getting confidence after lessons with Chuty. He’s super kind, nice and teaches one thing by one 🤍

Amazing surfing school! We had only couple of lessons, but they manage to show as everything needed, instructors are super nice and helpful and also each one is taking care of one person only, so you really have all attention needed. Also price was very nice :)

Best teacher ever!!!!!🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 I took 2 lessons with Chuty in Mirissa for intermediate level. He explain everything about the spot before going into the water. He select the correct waves for you and gives you the right tips to catch the wave. He is always calm and there is no rush or pressure during the class, really good vibes! I highly recommend to take lessons with him!!!!

Choosing this surf school was the best decision ever! I never thought I'd be able to step on a surfing board as I'm not very confident in the deep water but my teacher, Arindu has proved me that I was wrong! He has explained every step very clearly, gave the guidance on how to begin with surfing and he was really patient with me (thank you). The atmosphere during the classes was positive and chilled out. Arindu is a great instructor and he puts the whole heart into teaching. After my first three lessons, I knew I needed to come back to Mirissa for more and so I did. The whole team is very friendly and they're taking their job seriously. Personal approach and positive vibes is something that you can find there! Thank you guys! 🤙

We booked a beginners surf lesson with Rashmika and it was really good. He was an extremely experienced, friendly and patient teacher. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend this surf school to anyone in Mirissa.

I can highly recommend Chuty’s Surf School! I took three lessons for the intermediate level and they’ve been the best and most challenging lessons so far. Chuty is super calm and relaxed and knows everything about the conditions of the surf spots. I felt super safe and could really challenge myself. The whole team is super friendly and always in a good mood!

Chuty made experience in Sri Lanka one of the most memorable. Chuty is very knowledgeable he knows the waves and the spots very well and take us to the best spot in south coast every day. We get to surf in lots of good spots. Chuty is also a great teacher providing good lessons and fix some of my pop up problems. He also took us to some of the best local food! Very recommend for ppl who not only want good surf lesson but good experience in Sri Lanka :)

Chuty surfschool is just a great place to learn how to surf in just one of two days! The boys of the surfschool are really nice and attentive. They help you along al the way. You can see they have as much fun as possible and want to give you the same experience. We are happy to join them for some surfing experience! Highly recommended.
