Among the best design-homes in Sri Lanka if not Asia! What a brilliant and warm place at the Frame Imaduwa! The house, designed by the architect Palinda Kannangara, captures yet embraces a beautiful piece of nature. With his masterful design scheme, the Frame is breathtaking morning thru dark. The caretaker has been nothing but caring and attentive, providing us with delicious local food and drinks thru our stay. A "10 out of 10" stay, we will 100% revisit.

Superb place

If you need to stay away from busy streets and loud city life, here's the place, really calm place, no human made loud noice or any kind of a disturbance whatsoever.. need to mention Ajith cuz he made really good pol rotti and sambolé and he was the all-rounder there. Ps- don't forget to check the night sky cuz there's no light pollution, you can see the stars really well and bright! Would come back for a longer stay.

This oasis is a beautifully crafted home. Simplicity in design and environmental consciousness of the structure is to the point. The location is peaceful. To listen to bird songs and watch the peacock dance, the buffaloes passing by and the absolute silence of nature was blissful. To make the experience even more wonderful, Ajith was the perfect host. Loving and caring, so humble. We felt so relaxed and well taken care of. This would easily pass as one of most serene places to say in Sri Lanka.

The Frame: It is nice calm n quite place to have family leisure. Nice hospitality by Ajith who is very friendly. Very attractive and innovative architecture.

Loved everything about the place….! Such a stress buster we did not want to leave…! Bugs can be a bit of an annoyance at times but mosquito nets were available! Definitely gonna come back again!!!
