Yes good place should visit. This is under the supervision of Ministry of Education. Lot of space available including enough space for parking. They have made an ancient village hers, so people come here to watch and learn from it too. Few Auditoriums available. Also there is a made up village. It’s useful. Customer service is helpful. Wheelchair accessible entrance available. No wheelchair accessible parking available.

Educational Place! It is a very good place for 5th grade school children and for foreigners those who love to see and experience the traditional Sri Lankan lifestyle. The Village Man will explain about the lifestyle and ancient Sinhala vocabulary by giving examples in an interesting manner. Can be experience live clay pot making, wood carving techniques, handmade items along with the traditional new year sweets preparations and presentations. Only downside I saw this place is that inside of the village there was a huge modern type architecture building. Don't know what that for, but it destroy the village atmosphere. Uncovered premises is also a disadvantage as for the inside people can see vehicles passing by outside. Anyway, regardless of these its a good place for a small visit. Note that the foreigners have to pay more than the locals.

Falk arts center "Jana Kala Kendraya" is the home for Falk arts and handy crafts. It features an array of stalls that exhibits and sells handy crafts. The handy crafts includes brass work, jewellery, batiks, mats etc. Here they conduct short courses for the public on handy crafts such as pottery and wood carving and some of them are there since 1987. They also conduct traditional dancing classes for children including Kandian dancing. The falks art center also has a branch of Laksala boutique shop where you could find all sorts of handy crafts at a much higher price.
